Expected Problem

But as a person and part of tambulig we also have a problem. For me the problem in our

place is the river in calolot because it become wider. The large currents of water and flooding

have been experienced in its river and many animals have also died and been washed away.

Rivers and streams drain water that falls in upland areas. Moving water dilutes and decomposes

pollutants more rapidly than standing water, but many rivers and streams are significantly

polluted all around the world. Climate change. Unsurprisingly, climate change is one of the main

reasons behind the global water crisis. Water pollutants may cause disease or act as poisons.

Bacteria and parasites in poorly treated sewage may enter drinking water supplies and cause

digestive problems such as cholera and diarrhea. Logging, urbanization, and dam building are a

few ways people have significantly altered natural river ecosystems. The factors determining the

flow of a river are Volume of water, Rock structure, Slope of the terrain and Amount of

sediments.
Possible Solution

And we have a solution from it. We have to put a big concrete block on the side of the

river. The water needs to be pure in order to prevent side reactions from occurring which may

weaken the concrete or otherwise interfere with the hydration process.  In many countries, rivers

prone to floods are often carefully managed. Defences such as levees, bunds, reservoirs, and

weirs are used to prevent rivers from bursting their banks. When these defences fail, emergency

measures such as sandbags or portable inflatable tubes are used. Nature-based solutions

include restoring wetlands, developing water retention areas, removing obstacles, and reviving

old channels. They can complement conventional infrastructure to improve flood protection and

create additional environmental and social benefits.
