A. Preliminaries
1.Opening Prayer
“Everybody stand for the prayer. May I ( Students stand and pray)
request ________ to lead it.”
2. Greetings
“ Good morning students”. “ Good morning Ma’am.”
“ You may now take your seats.” ( Students take their seats)
3.Checking of Attendance
“ Who is absent today class?” “ None Ma’am.”
4.Collecting of Assignments
“ Please pass your assignment class.” ( Students pass their assignments)

C. Lesson Proper
1.Motivation
( The teacher starts her motivation by

3.Practice Exercise
(The teacher gives a short quiz)
“I will distribute a small piece of paper that
contains sample statements/sentences. All you
have to do is to write whether each sentence is a
fact or an opinion.
Direction: Write whether each sentence is a
fact or an opinion. Write F for fact statement and
O for opinion statement.
1. Aloran is one of the municipalities in
Misamis Occidental.
2. The sun rises in the east and sets in the
west.
3. I believe that teachers are good in any
subject.
4. Rock music is awful.
5. Everyone should make a Valentine’s
Day card.
6. Metro Manila lies in Luzon.
7. President Marcos is the former
resident of the Philippines.
8. President Corazon Aquino is thought of
as one of the Philippines’ greatest
women.
9. Christmas is everyone’s favorite
holiday.
10. Living things need oxygen to survive.
4. Generalization
“What is the difference between fact and “Fact is something that everyone agrees is true.

opinion is something that someone thinks is true.
