Review

Graphic Organizer
 The class will be divided into 5 groups.
 Each group will be given an envelope with cutout
papers inside.
 Right after forming the letters into the desired word,
they will think of words that would define or describe
the word formed.
 Using a graphic organizer, each group will write their
answers in the Manila Paper provided.
 Afterwards, the outputs must be posted on the
board.

 An opinion is a statement that cannot
be proved or checked

 It tells what someone thinks, feels, or


believes
OPINIONS
 Clue words for opinion statements are:
 think, feel, believe, seem
 always, never, all, none, most, least,
best, greatest, worst
OPINIONS
 Example:

 Siargao is the most beautiful island in the


world.
 Allan Peter Cayetano is an excellent
candidate for house speakership.
OPINIONS
 An opinion is not necessarily wrong, it is
merely not a provable fact.

Example:
 Marga is a very beautiful young lady.
Newspaper Search
 Go to your respective groups. Read
the news article given. Then,
identify the facts and opinions by
writing them in the Manila paper
provided. When the groups are
finished, the presentation of the
outputs will follow.
