Political leaders include the mayor, vice mayor, council members, and representatives from other
political parties. Their job is to establish regulations and ensure that they are fair and just. They
must act as an example by abiding by the regulations.
Parents should educate their kids that even in small ways, they will learn to be responsible and
follow the rules of the community.
The police are the community's stewards of law and order. They must uphold their pledge to
defend and serve the nation as well as maintain law and order in the area to which they have been
assigned.
Professionals must provide a positive example for others. They must uphold the law, instruct
future generations to be more responsible adults, and resolve conflicts amicably.
Children: They will take care of the community in the future. So, it is necessary to teach them
how to be law-abiding citizens. Kids must follow excellent examples without hesitation and
happily obey their parents and elders.
They will also be more likely to trust an organization that is involved in community engagement.
It is essential to understand the different types of stakeholders in the community and how they
can affect the project. When there is low trust, community involvement can help overcome it The
fundamental benefit of community participation is the increase in community cohesion.
Collaboration among community people can enhance service delivery and change regional laws.
Also, it enables a community's growth to be influenced by the community. The outcomes will be
better the more active the community is. Why then is community participation a crucial tool?
because a better atmosphere is created. The advantages of interacting with your stakeholders are
numerous. Engagement with the community has beneficial effects for the organization. It
enhances connection between businesses and the community while also giving enterprises a more
socially conscious image. Communities are more inclined to embrace an organization's views
when it exhibits openness.

Because the goal of the community immersion strategy, which is used in community
organizing, is to give NSTP trainees a better understanding and realization of the various
community concerns by exposing them to real-life situations, particularly in the
underprivileged, depressed, and destitute (DDU) communities.
There is also the institution's level, which is divided into two categories. The first are the
public institutions that are generally accepted by recipient societies or cities, such as the
educational system or the institutional framework of the labor market. Such institutions
include written and unwritten norms and practices, as well as laws, regulations, and
executive organizations. This, however, may prevent newcomers from having an equal
opportunity or perhaps outright eliminate them. So, it is crucial that these broad public
institutions work well (and that they may need to be adjusted considering the increase in
variety). The notions of inclusion and exclusion are replicated at this level.
The second sort of institution, like religious or cultural organizations, is owned by certain
immigrant groups themselves. Like immigrant organizations, these institutions and their
potential integration might be seen as either isolating themselves or remaining
unrecognized and excluded, or they can become an acknowledged part of society on par
with analogous institutions of native communities.

The model shows a linear process that begins with community organizing and moves on to
visioning, planning, and finally implementation and evaluation. There continues to be some
debate over the importance of process versus outcomes in community development. Some
people argue that the goal of community development is to increase public participation and that
it does not matter if their efforts are successful or not. Others contend that the ultimate goal is to
improve the quality of life in the community, with public participation being simply a means to
an end. Our position is closer to the latter view. We focus in this chapter on the process of
community development, with the goal of enhancing community assets. It is difficult to maintain
interest and commitment to community development processes if participants cannot point to
successes. In the long run, both process and outcomes are essential pieces of community
development. In this chapter, we focus on three areas: community organizing, community
visioning and planning, and evaluation and monitoring.
