Evacuation Route Plan

In Case of Fire

BEFORE
Talk with my family about how we are going to escape in case there is a disaster such as a fire,
earthquake, typhoon, etc. Make sure we understand each other clearly and know where we are
going to exit.
DURING

 Call 911 immediately and report the incident.

 Wake everyone up and make sure that no one is left behind.
 Get all the important files, such as birth certificates.
 Move spontaneously, but not impulsively. Get to the exit quickly and open the door
slowly.
 Get down the stairs quickly before they catch fire. But if the stairs are already on fire,
get back inside and let someone use the windows to get out and call for help outside.
Keep on asking for help until my family member is out of the house.
AFTER

 If the fire was extinguished, we'll check if everyone is already out and safe.
 Get those who are injured treated.
 Don't let anyone return home unless there is a go signal from the fire authorities.
