PUBLICS publics
Exist as a result of their
interaction and
interdependence within
an organization, or
because they and the
organization share a
common issue.

MARKET market
A group of
customer the
organization tries to
satisfy their needs
and wants.

AUDIENCE
Simply a group of people who pay attention to a specific medium of communication and
recieve messages through it. Audiences will be addressed by both public relations and
marketing. An organization's relationship with an audience is usually brief, such as the
time it takes to read an article or listen to a speech-much shorter than its relationship
with the general in public. Given the products and services
being promoted, there is a risk that the audience and
market are one and the same.

STAKEHOLDERS
A person who is perceived by some to be different from
the general public. A stakeholder is someone who is
interested in an organization because of its potential
impact on its mission and objectives.
