Preamble:
The course is introduced to make
ke the student aware of the accounting, book keeping &
record maintenance principles, methodology and practical exposure. Also, enhance the
analytical ability & help in informed decision making.

Objectives:

1. To provide adequate basic understanding about accounting and financial education to


the students.
2. To emphasize on conceptual knowledge and thereby prepare for professional courses
and make them employable in the

Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the Sem IV students will be able to:
1. Learn the need of issuance of Indian Accounting standards
2. Prepare and present financial statement of companies as per schedule III of Indian
Companies Act, 2013.
3. Calculate the Profit prior to Incorporation of a Company.
4. Analyse the ratio from the perspective of stakeholders to evaluate the profitability
and the financial position of an entity.

The Performance of the learners shall be evaluated in two parts – Internal Assessment with
25% marks in the first part and semester end examination with 75%marks in the second part.
