For this pattern you will need basic knowledge of the magic ring, single crochet, slip stitch and
working in the round. You will also need basic sewing and embroidery skills.

BODY
R1: Using multi-colour yarn, 6 sc in magic ring. Close with a ss. (6)

R2: Ch1, then working in the round, 2 sc in each st. (12)

R3: Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, repeat all around. (18)

R4: Sc in next 2 st, 2 sc in next st, repeat all around. (24)

Attach muzzle at row 13-18

ASSEMBLY OF BODY

Sew the body to the head, lining up their centres

Attach the arms to the body, just below the head, and centred with the body/head/ears

SKIRT
R1: Using red yarn, ch 32. Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in next 30 ch. Ch1, turn. (31)

R2: Working in back loops only, 2 sc in each st. Ch 1, turn. (62)

R3: 2 Sc in each st, ch1, turn. (124)

R4: Sc in each st. Tie off. (124)

Dress bear and sew skirt closed.

ANTLERS

Horn A

R1: Using cream yarn, 5 sc in magic ring. Close with a ss. (5)

R2: Ch1, then working in the round, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 4 st. (6)

R3-5: Sc in each st. Tie off, leaving a thread for sewing (6)

Horn B

Make a second piece as above but do not tie off at row 5.

R6: Sc into last st on horn A. Sc in next 3 st. Leave last 2 st open. Skip 2 st on horn B, then sc into
next 4 st of horn B (there will be gap between the two pieces with 2 sts left open on each horn). (8)

to the head.

Weave in loose threads, and sew gaps closed where the pieces of horn are attached to one another.
