 Swimming Pool Session 2022

Instructions

1 Guru Nanak Dev University Swimming Pool is open for members only.
2 Entry shall be through Swimming Pool Membership Identity card only.
3 Members Identity cards will be checked and deposited at the swimming pool main gate before
entering the pool. Entry without Identity card will not be allowed.
4 Discipline is pre-requisite. In case of in-discipline, the swimming membership will be cancelled.
5 The university and the department will not be responsibility for the loss of any belongings.
6 Members shall swim at their own risk and responsibility with proper costumes / cap and shall take a
shower bath before entering the pool.
7 Smoking and/Drinking (soft / hard)/Eatables are not allowed.
8 Beginners should, on no account, enter the large / competition or the diving pool. They should
wear red caps for identification purpose.
9 Members suffering from any skin / infection / contagious diseases are not allowed.
10 Full value shall be charged for any damage, breakage or loss of the pool property.
11 Members shall not interfere within the duty of any swimming pool staff members.
12 A member has to opt one timing either in the morning or in the evening session.
13 No member shall use the Lane no. 1 and 2. These lanes are reserved for swimming players.
14 The pool shall be closed during Guru Nanak Dev University Inter-College Swimming Championship /
other National Championships.
15 The Swimming Pool shall be closed on Sunday.
16 The minimum age limit for membership is 9 years. In case, parents are interested for
membership of child below 9 years, they have to give self responsibility declaration for their
child and also have to join as member along with the child. The membership fees shall be
applied as per rules.

17 It is mandatory for the students / teachers / employees / ex-employees / college teaches and
employees to attach a copy of the Identity card with their membership form and with their
children membership form.

18 DATE OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE is must be attached with membership form in case of

Children below 15 years age.

Note : Any member who does not adhere to the above instruction and / or creates indiscipline he/she shall
forfeit his/her membership along with deposited amount without any notice.
