Important Instructions
• Reserve category students are also eligible to appear in General Category if they desire.
• Physical presence of the candidate in the counselling is must. Only the candidates will be allowed at the
counselling venue. If the name of the student is called for counselling and if he/she fails to turn up, the
seat will be allocated to the next candidate.
• Those students, who have passed their lower examinations through Distance Education Mode, ODL Mode
& Lateral Entry Scheme from the Universities, other than GNDU and passed 10+2 examination from
Boards, other than PSEB/CBSE/ICSE, will have to check the equivalence of their qualified examinations
from Equivalence Book (www.gndu.ac.in-University Links/Information Desk/General Branch Desk) or
contact to the Equivalence Section of the General Branch before applying for admission to the respective
courses.
• Candidates who have passed qualifying examination from University/Institution other than GNDU shall
be required to submit migration and eligibility certificate after admission as per University rules.
• In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal rank in the Entrance test, the inter-se-merit of such
candidates shall be determined in order of preference as follows: (a) Candidates obtaining higher marks in
the qualifying exam (b) Candidates older in age to be preferred.
• The candidate shall have to deposit fee on the spot. Failure to do so will lead to cancellation of Seat. The
Fee can be deposited through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card and through Cash and Not by Cheque.

• As per instructions issued by the Punjab Govt., the counselling for General Category will be held first.
The candidates belonging to SC/Backward classes would also compete in the General Category and will
be included in the Merit list of the General category. Subsequently, admission for the reserved categories
would be made, excluding the reserved category candidates who got admitted in the general category
(letter Pb. Govt 7/21/2004 dated 20.12.2004 and letter 517-630/RC dated 16.1.2013, GNDU)).
• Each candidate shall bring the following certificates/documents in original and their self-attested
photocopies along with a hard copy (a printed version of the online application) at the time of Counselling
(i) Counselling Form to be provided by Coordinator, CET (UG Sciences)-2022
(ii) Application Form to be printed from "Candidate Area/Dashboard" from
http://www.gnduadmissions.org/CampusAdmissions/LoginWithStudentID2021.aspx using your user
ID and password.
(iii) Admit card
(iv) Matriculation or equivalent examination certificate bearing testimony to date of birth
(v) Detailed marks card of the qualifying examination/ Self Declaration Certificate as per Annexure
-III if result of qualifying Exam result has not been declared.
(vi) Character certificate from the Principal of the college/school last attended
(vii) Two recent passport size photographs (latest) duly attested by the Principal of the College/School
last attended/gazetted officer. Photographs must be pasted on the form with glue (Please do not use
staple pins)
(vii) Reservation certificate as applicable (As per format in Annexures given in Prospectus 2022-23)
and Self declaration as par Annexure I for SC and Annexure -II for BC category students.
(viii) Residence certificate wherever applicable (As per format in Annexures given in University
Prospectus 2022-23)
(ix) All Reserve Category Certificates should be issued by the competent authority as per specimen
given in the University Prospectus 2022-23 only.
• All admissions made will be provisional. If at any stage, any information furnished by the candidate
is found to be fabricated or false, his/her admission will be cancelled.
• For detailed instructions kindly refer to GNDU Prospectus 2022, available on the University website
• Candidates must make arrangements of Pen, Mask, Sanitizer and Drinking water while attending
Counselling.
• Candidates must obey social distancing rule and regulations as per Punjab Govt. Guidelines.

the minimum required score as per eligibility criteria, the provisional admission allotted to me may be
cancelled. Further, I undertake that the admission fee deposited by me may be adjusted as per clause 13
of the University Prospectus applicable to candidates for surrender of seats and I shall state no claim for
admission or refund of application fee as per rules.
5. In case of admission of the 1st semester of ___________________ course in the department of

of the result of qualifying examination and my provisional admission will only be regularized, if I fulfill
the condition of having cleared the qualifying examination (whenever the results of the qualifying
examination are declared) with minimum marks as per eligibility criteria mentioned the prospectus of
GNDU for the session 2022-23 along with other stipulated conditions mentioned therein.
