City Life vs Country Life

In the city are more job opportunities than in the countryside. There are better
conditions for studying in the city. There are also more entertainment
establishments in the city than in the countryside. In the city, you can get
pretty much anything you want, during the day or night. The city has hospitals,
fire stations and police stations. There are fewer of them in the countryside, or
they are not.

But for that, we have more privacy in the countryside. Living in the countryside
can make you stronger as a person. In my opinion, the neighbours have better
relations in the countryside than in the city. In the countryside, people have a
healthier life than in the city. Locking the door in the countryside is completely
optional. We couldn't do something like that in the city.

I live in Kežmarok. Kežmarok is a small town near Poprad. It is a quiet town.

There is not much pollution. There are just a few cafés and restaurants. There
are not many shops, so a lot of people go to some shopping centre out of town.
There is just one cinema. But for that, there are lots of museums and historic
buildings.

Kežmarok is such an interesting town. In my opinion, the most interesting

places in this town are Old Wooden articular church and New red protestant
church. The old one is registered in UNESCO. There are a lot of paintings and
interesting ornaments in these churches.

There is also a castle in Kežmarok. Today the whole area is a town museum
with different expositions which give evidence of the historical development
since its beginning to the 20th century.

ROUTH FROM HOME TO SCHOOL

Every morning I go from my home to the bus stop. There is a long road along
with the houses. When I arrive in Poprad, I get off at the bus stop at the culture
house. Then I go across the main road. After that, I walk along this road to the
shopping centre Forum. Then I go through this shopping centre. After then I
walk past the elementary school and secondary school. Behind them, I go over
the subway. Then I go on the straight road. Then I walk past the stores towards
the school. After going past these shops, I go straight to school.
