This course explores the structure and dynamics of American national government, providing a broad
introduction to institutions and issues that shape politics in the contemporary United States.
2.

Although the primary focus of this course is on American political institutions and behavior, we do not intend to
simply gain the factual knowledge of the American politics. Rather, our ultimate goal is to reflect on the Korean
politic by learning consequences and possibilities of different political and institutional choices.
