IELTS Writing Task 2

Some people think computers and the Internet are important in student’s study. But
others think students can learn more effectively in schools with teachers. 
Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Technology innovation enables children to access a wide range of knowledge quickly and
flexibly. The fact that whether the internet plays a vital role for the study of a child or it is easier
when learning at schools. It is my firm belief that this needs to be considered carefully. 

To begin with, it is obvious that computers offer children some benefits to their study process.
Firstly, the Internet enables students in enhancing their general understanding and skills to
solve difficulties in study, as well as giving them a vital preparation of technology knowledge for
the future. Moreover, like horses help students learn easily quickly at anytime. In reality, during
the Covid-19 pandemic, children were not allowed to go to school. To tackle with this problems,
online study started in which students receive education in the safest way Furthermore, this
form of learning creates great conditions for everyone to have an equal opportunity to study,
regardless of young or old.

However, there is no doubt that traditional education in schools is still having a great influence
on student. Clearly, school is a place where children get their theoretical as well as practical
knowledge. There, they learn about social and cultural value that are very essential for human
being. Moreover, the more they interact with others, the more they create their social circle. As a
result, their communication skill would be better, and it is easier for them to integrate with the
community. Another positive effect is that emotional makes teachers different from machines.
When teachers give lectures emotionally, student would probably remember their voice tone,
facial expressions rather than the recorded voice. From my personal experience, teachers are
also the ones who answer student’s psychological questions as well as useful advice that help
students become more active in learning.

In conclusion, both e-learning and traditional education have many advantages. I am of the
belief that two forms of learning should be used scientifically to get the most productive way of
learning.
