Table 4.2 shows the analysis of social – demographic respondents of residents

based on some aspect from the result of questionnaires. Here are the aspects that had
been analysed (gender, age, marital status, education, origin, occupation and duration
of stay.
The questionnaire were distributed to overall 32 respondents .The total of male

4.3 Result interview of Tourist

4.4 Result interview of Authority

4.4.1 Interview with JKKK

Based on interviews carried out with JKKK ( high committee) , there are some of the
issues raised by the villagers related to solid waste management in the island. This
issue has been raised for a long time but still no solution played by the authorities.
Among the issue arise were related to waste collection site. According to JKKK, the
existing site is not strategic where it is located nearby the main jetty where it is the
main entrance of tourists into the island.in addition it is also close to the food stall.
This situation will have a negative effect and bad view to tourists and local people.
The open burning in the site also makes the situation become worse and this activity
may affect the health of the communities around.
