COURSE INFORMATION
Course Code : TPEH
Course Title : Teaching Physical Education and Health in the Elementary Grades
Course Description : This course deals with the educational foundations of Physical Education as these apply to teaching and learning in the elementary grades.
Various teaching strategies and assessment appropriate for each area shall be given emphases in the course.

Co-Requisite : None
Credits : 3 Units
3 hours lecture per week

2. Analyze the basic characteristics of Filipino children and adolescents and the implications to physical education.
3. Discuss the basic principles of learning that have implications in the teaching of physical education.
