1. A car model comes with the following choices: 7 colors, with or without air conditioning,
with or without sunroof, with or without automatic transmission, with or without a spoiler,
and with or without anti-lock brakes . In how many ways can the car be ordered? (2 MARKS)

2. Find the number of ways can 3 nurses and 4 engineers be seated on a bench with the
nurses seated together. (2 MARKS)

3. There are 5 cards with number 10 on them, 6 cards with number 100 on them and 3 cards
with number 500 on them. How many distinct sums are possible using from 1 to all of the 14
cards? (3 MARKS)

4. How many 5 character license plates can be made if the first 3 characters are letters and
last 2 characters are numbers if
a. repetition of characters is allowed but the first letter must be a B, A, S, K, C, or P?
