Abstract: - power is more important
for our modern civilization .The purpose of
this research paper is to discuss the concept
of transmitting the electrical power without
using wire. The wireless power transmission
(WPT) is most efficient way of transmitting
electrical power to one place to another
place though atmosphere and vacuum with
using wire. In the present electrical power
transmission there are many losses occurs
there like heat losses or low efficiency .To
overcome these problem we need to use
more efficient way to transmitted power to
one place to another place. So we can use
wireless power transmission (WPT).
By using wireless power transmission we
can avoid heat losses and power thieving
and we can provide high efficiency and low
transmission cost.

transmission we generate

transmitted the electrical power by the help
of microwave power transmission (MPT).

Laser power transmission:-
LASER is used to transfer power in
the form of light energy and power is
convert into electric energy at the
receiver end. The LASER gets
powered using different sources like
sun, electricity generator or high-
intensity focused light. The size and
shape of beam are decided by set of
optics
The transmitted LASER light is
received by the photo-voltaic cells that
convert the light into electric signal.
Usually it uses optical-fiber cables for
transmission.

 Wireless power transmission

achieved by the power line
transmission.
 By the help of wireless power
transmission we overcome by
the many problems like power
thief and heat loss.
 In the power line transmission
if there are any fault in power
line then we face problem to
find out in which section of
power line have fault is. But in
the wireless power
transmission there aren’t these
kind of problem.
 The wireless power
transmission is more safe then
other power transmission
system. And the wireless
power .
 Te cost of distribution and
transmission become less.
 The largest application of the
wireless power transmission
is the production of power by
placing satellites with giant
solar arrays in
geosynchronous earth orbit
and transmitting the power as
microwave to the earth as
solar power satellites (SPS).
 Wireless power transmission
is used in moving targets like
fuel free electric vehicles fuel
free airplane, fuel free rockets
and moving robots.
 By the helps of wireless
power transmission the every
area of earth is covered.
Conclusion:- Wireless power
transmission will be helpful in
reducing losses that are take place in
ordinary power transmission. In the
power line transmission have about
40% losses but other hand if we use
wireless power transmission then we
able to reduce the losses 8-14% by
the helps of wireless power
transmission we covered all the area
of that will be notable by the ordinary
power line transmission .
