OPERATING PROCEDURE

STARTING PROCEDURE

1. Connect a wire cable to a trailer.

2. Switch ON power from main supply panel.

 Wait for a voltage and current to stabilize voltage (395V- 410V)

3. Turn ON (Power OFF/ON)

4. Turn ON (System STOP/ON)

5. Turn ON (Air Compressor STOP/ON)

6. Turn ON (Purity System STOP/ON)

7. Connect filling horse to charging cylinder

8. Turn ON (Booster STOP/ON) to start charging Nitrogen into cylinder. Waiting for a cylinder
to be full.

NOTE: Switch/Test and UP/Down used to indicate the parameter of a plant when running or
changing parameter when are in the process of setting.

Temp setting are for setting of temperature when adding hydrogen in a system.

Phase switch for changing voltage phase.

SHUT DOWN PROCEDURE

1. Stop Booster Pump{ Turn OFF (Booster STOP/ON)}

2. Close All Valve
3. Stop Purity System { Turn OFF (Purity System STOP/ON)}
4. Stop Air Compressor { Turn OFF (Air Compressor STOP/ON)}
5. Switch power off
6. Dis-connect electrical cable from trailer.
WORKING PRINCIPLE

The air is compressed to the pressure 1.2 MPa by units and is filtered by three-level filters, air is
controlled in a certain temperature by air heating; and then enters hollow fiber membrane group.
After the separation of the air is divided into streams: waste gas rich in oxygen is evacuated and
nitrogen goes into subsequence equipments .Nitrogen is regulated by throttle valve and
controlled by two –position three way electromagnetic valve when purity is not qualified,
nitrogen purity monitoring instruments will control electromagnetic valve to evacuate
unqualified nitrogen .When purity get qualified nitrogen enter purification system under the
control of valves with the control of switching mechanism (timed automatic switch), nitrogen
flows into Deaerator l (or· II) and with deoxidization catalyst, slight oxygen in nitrogen is left
behind, which is convenient for elimination at regeneration, making nitrogen purity to be
99.999% N2

Then high purity nitrogen flows into cooling system by which nitrogen falls to normal
temperature and partial water precipitated at the same time flows to the bottom of
distributor along tube wall, discharged regularly by electric blow-off valve.

Subsequently, nitrogen enters Desiccator l ( or II) and absorbent in desiccators deeply absorbs
water in nitrogen making dew point of nitrogen at outlets below - 70°C.

Next, nitrogen of high quality and low dew point is separated into two parts: the majority as
product nitrogen and the minority as resurgent gas. The product nitrogen flows into filters to be
dedusted and then into tanks to be stored. At the last, after being pressed by booster pump to
15.0MPa, the nitrogen is charged into nitrogen cylinder through bus bar.
