    This study examined the relationship between nomophobia (the fear of being without a mobile phone) and loneliness levels in university students. A survey was administered to 400 students at Erciyes University which found a positive correlation between higher nomophobia scores and increased feelings of loneliness. Students who were more dependent on their mobile phones for social interaction and staying connected were more likely to experience loneliness when separated from their devices. The results suggest that excessive mobile phone use may be negatively impacting students' psychological well-being and their ability to develop meaningful social relationships offline.
