1. Brief introduction

1.1. Preface
Note:

Main features, technical specification, outer structure, operating principle, installation debugging, using operation

and daily maintenance of TEC air conditioning for communication base station battery compartment have been

introduced in the manual. The manual is suitable for installers and maintainers.

Please read the manual carefully before installation, operation and maintenance; pay attention to the warning

plate and warning words on the cabinet air conditioner. All data must be properly kept after being read for

further reference.

1.2. Product introduction

TEC air conditioner is mainly composed of semiconductor refrigeration fin, cooling fin, fan, control plate. TEC

air conditioner has features of small volume, light weight, convenient installation, no refrigerant, no leakage,

no pollution to environment, interchangeable refrigeration and heating function; it can be externally

connected with emergency fan and hydrogen discharging fan; and it is in remote monitoring by RS485 port. It

is widely applied in battery cabinet constant temperature control of telecommunication base station.

1.3. Operating principle

When the DC current forms loop by different conductors, heat absorption or discharging phenomenon is generated

in node; and the phenomenon is named as Peltier effect.

TEC air conditioning technology is Peltier effect based on semiconductor; when two ends of TEC chip are

accessed into the DC power; the refrigeration at one side absorbs the heat in the cabinet by inner ventilator and

radiating sheet; and the heating at other side takes away the heat by the outer ventilator and radiating sheet.

2. Product function

2.1. Control of inner ventilator

The inner ventilator is started and runs according to the maximum rotary speed; and the speed is not regulated.

Default parameter Rotary speed of inner fan (RPM)

Maximum rotary speed of inner fan 4000

2.2. Control of outer ventilator

TEC module and outer fan are synchronously started and stopped by refrigeration/heating stopping point; and the speed of the outer fan
can be regulated. Between the starting temperature of the speed regulation and the end temperature of the speed regulation, the external
fan linearly regulates the speed. when in heat starting, the outer fan runs according to the maximum rotary speed.

2.3. Refrigeration

When the temperature in the cabinet exceeds the refrigeration starting point, it is in refrigeration operation; when the

temperature in the cabinet is lower than the refrigeration stopping point, the refrigeration operation stops; when

setting the refrigeration temperature point, the temperature of the stopping point is lower than the temperature of the

opening point.

The hydrogen discharging fan and emergency ventilator are shared; the interface capacity is 60VDC/1.5A. When

TEC control plate occurs any one warning of high temperature warning, TEC chip warning, sensor warning,

inner fan warning and outer fan warning, the hydrogen discharging mode is changed to the emergency mode; when

there is no above warning, the emergency mode is automatically changed to hydrogen discharging mode.

The operation condition of emergency ventilation under emergency mode:

Under the emergency mode, when the temperature in the cabinet exceeds the opening point of the emergency fan,
