Performance Standard : The learners creates a portrait of himself and his family which shows the
elements and principles of art by drawing.

Shapes - a
shape can be defined as the
form of an object or its outline, outer
boundary or outer surface.

Basic Types of shapes

 Circle: A circle is a closed shape.


It is categorized as a two-
dimensional geometric shape that
is round in structure. It does not
have any lines or corners.
 Oval: An oval is an elongated
shape slightly similar to a circle. It
has no straight lines or corners.
 Square: A square is a closed 2-D
shape that is formed by four sides.
The length of each side is equal in
measurement.
 Triangle: A triangle is a shape with
three sides and is categorized as a
two-dimensional geometric shape.
 Rectangle: A rectangle has four
sides. It is a two-dimensional
geometric shape in which the
length of the opposite sides is
equal.
Colour, also spelled color, the
aspect of any object that may be
described in terms of hue, lightness,
and saturation.

Shapes and put your favourite color of each shape.

In your assignment , Draw at least 10 another
kinds of shapes except for the five basic shapes
that I show you . Each shapes that you draw name
of each shapes and put color.
