WHAT I HAVE LEARNED

.Dependent and Independent variables are important because they drive the research process.as
defined earlier,A variable as opposed to a constant issue simply any thing that can vary and that many
researcher consistently look at the relationship between these two variables

-Operational definition is measurement. A simple and accurate definition of measurement is the

assignment of numbers to a variable in which are interested. These numbers will provide the raw
material for our statistical and analysis.

-The need for operational definition is fundamental when. Collecting all types of data its is particularly
important when decision is being made.

-Knowing the level of measurement of your variables is important for two reasons.each of levels of
measurement provides a different level of detail nominal provides the least amount of detail and
intervals and ratio provided the most amount of detail.

-And operational definition articulation of operationalization(or statement of procedures )used in

defining the terms of a process (set of validation test and the expected outcomes
An example of operational definition of the term weight of an object operationalized to a degree

-It includes a precise definition of the characteristics and how,specifically data collectors are to measure
the characteristics used to remove ambiguity and ensure all data collectors have the same understanding
