STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

These school organizations, which embrace both extracurricular and curricular activities, are crucial in
promoting academic performance. Students' academic focus may have an impact on how actively they
participate in groups and in daily activities.

This study seeks to learn more about why students decide to get involved with student organizations
during their undergraduate academic careers.

By learning more about the lived experiences of students who actively engage in a student organization,
student affairs professionals will be able to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the
circumstances that contribute to a student’s decision to join.
