 assist individuals and the community to improve their health by

raising awareness of healthy lifestyles

 assists in the development of communication plan in relation to health
issues

 assist in the development of IEC materials for promotion of health

programs.

 Assist in establishing a local network of health promotion champions

and partners.

 Assists in the coordination with various stakeholders ( Local

Government Unit HEPO’s, Hospital HEPO’s and Barangay Health
Workers as Barangay Level Health Education Promotion Officer.

 Assists in monitoring of the implementation of health promotion

policies, programs and activities.

 Assist in the preparation of reports to be submitted to the Department

of Health and Department of the Interior and Local Government.
