3. The guidelines for the distribution, utilization, and retrieval of the android
tablets are attached for your reference.
I. DISTRIBUTION
1. The recipients of the android tablets shall be the learners who opted for
Modular-Digitized LDM based on the data submitted by the schools to
the Planning Section during the enrolment period through the Learner
Enrolment Survey Form (LESF)
2. The parents/guardians shall take full responsibility in taking care of
the devices following the conditions stated in the issued documents
(PAR/ICS);
3. A List of recipients shall be submitted to the Learning Resource
Management Section (LRMS) for validation;
4. All android tablets shall be properly documented through the Supply
Office/School Property Custodian;
5. Only applications that are necessary for use of the learners shall be
downloaded and installed through the LRMS and Information and
Technology Office;
6. A scheduled turn-over of android tablets will be set depending on the
availability of the SDO key officials and the school representatives;
II. UTILIZATION
1. Upon receipt of the tablets in the schools, the School ICT Coordinator
in partnership with the grade level chairman shall upload all electronic
copies of the SLM in the android tablets;
2. Learners are not allowed to download applications other than those
pre-downloaded from the SDO;
3. The school email shall be used as the accounts of the android tablets;
4. The school may download other educational applications and
resources;
5. The android tablets shall be used for modular digitized learning
modality paired with activity sheets provided by the schools.
III. MONITORING
1. The School ICT Coordinator in collaboration with the class adviser shall
manage the monitoring of distributed android tablets to the learners
and shall gather feedback/issues/concerns relative to use of the tablet;
2. The School ICT Coordinator shall submit gathered
feedback/issues/concerns to the SDO through the LRMS which shall
be forwarded to ITO;
IV. RETRIEVAL
1. The android tablets shall be retrieved from the learner-recipients every
end of the semester or technical assessment and inventory;
2. The School ICT Coordinator shall submit Semestral Assessment and
Inventory Report to the SDO through the IT Office and LRMS;
3. Upon submission of the report, the School shall attach the List of
Recipients for the next semester.
