1- The importance of communication for: The


communication process is one of the most important
basics of life for humans, from which people exchange many
information and data, and in general the importance of the
communication process is complementedin the following:
1- Communication representsa large part of the daily work
carried out by humans.
2- Helps in the transfer of information, data and concepts in
order to make appropriate decisions.
3- Modifying the individual and collective behavior of
individuals.
4- Ensuring interaction and motivation between individuals and
groups to play the required roles.
5- Saves time and effort and speeds up the process of delivering
information and ideas.
6- Contribute to the growth of the individual's personality and
enhance his self-confidence.

2- Objectives of the communication processfor:


1- Guiding goals: This type of goal tends to give the future a
new direction or modify and install an old trend.
2- Educational goals: This goal or type of goal is achieved by
focusing communication on educating the recipients about
matters of interest to them.
3- Educational goals: These goals appear in schools and
educational institutions when communication is directed
towards providing the future with new experiences or skills,
concepts and information.
4- Entertainment goals: This goal is achieved when
communication tends towards bringing joy, pleasure and
enjoyment to the same future.
5- Administrative goals: This goal has a special place in the
communication process and is frequently used daily in all
institutions and organizations.
6- Social goals: It means the different social conditions that are
based on relations between members of the same society or
different societies.

3. Communication characteristics: Communication is a


dynamic and intertwined process of elements that are filled with
verbal and non-verbal symbols exchanged by senders and
receivers. They are characterized by the following
characteristics:
1- Communication is a continuous process.
2. Communication forms an integrated system.
3- Communication is interactive, instantaneous and variable.
4- Communication is often irreversible or unavoidable.
5- Communication may be intentional or spontaneous.
6- Multidimensional communication.
