Where does cold come from?

High Pressure right, from the North and South Pole

and in the Equator it’s warmer that is low pressure.
So high pressure goes to low pressure but it doesn’t reach the equator because it heats up
quickly and reach about the 60° N latitude

, they became less dense when heated they become less dense and goes up in the atmosphere
and it cycles back at the top and creates a convention current

same thing as south pole wind

goes up, gets heated, goes to
atmosphere and creates a
convention current.
at 30°N latitude its cooler than 0° so the pressure goes toward the equator, and it goes hot and
rises in the atmosphere and more air does it and creates a convection current

Same thing at the south hemisphere 30° S it does the same

As pressure makes a convection current it pulls air towards the atmosphere and pulls it back
toward the earth. it counter-cept the air so it pulls back and toward the atmosphere making
convection current. ( so parang lahat ng air ay gumagawa ng circulation na umiikot ng umiikot at
nag hihilahan at vice versa) And nangyayari ung dahil sa dalawang circulation it forms in the 60°
to the 30°

and ganon din sa southern hemisphere

nangyayari yan dahil sa difference ng temperature, difference ng pressure on the global scale
So ung winds sa north goes down, so it goes south but Coriolis effect makes it different,
ginagawa nya itong pa right so it goes down right and tawag don Polar Easterlies

It reflects the same sa south so from south it goes up naman kase of the high pressure sa South
and sa equator is low so it goes up and Coriolis effect so it turns to the left so its called the
same polar easterlies
and from the equator to the 30°N so galing sa 30°N ang air go downs and turn to right and get
called TRADE WINDS comes from the east to the west

and same sa South Hemisphere from the bottom it turns to left. (So mirrored and labas)

and from the 30° - 60° yung wala pang arrows, so galing sa mga wind sa convection current ung air
it from south to north. and it goes from the west to east so this is called prevailing westerlies.
Samethings happened in the south, in the mid latitudes where is the current air going? down,
and turning to west to east

So something happens in the Middle or at the equator sailors get stuck (walang movement of
air) so tawag dun doldrums
and sa 30N naman or Midlatitude same thing happens no movement and they call it HORSE
LATITUDE

WHY HORSES? because English traders have horses sa ship so kinakain nila para gumalaw
sila sa mga area na iyon.

So mula naman sa
Westerlies and
Polar Easterlies
yung boundaries
dun mag chchange because of the High Pressure or Cold from the P.E and Lower Pressure or
Warmer from P.W
So they try to go at the direction they wanted but they cant, so it make a Jet Stream na Swirly
Jet Stream is a fast moving air that moves west to east

And particularly lahat na it mirrored same to South hemisphere

30S Horse Latitude and 60S latitude Jet Stream.
