Module 10 Reflection:

In this module we learned about Social Psychology and how culture, age, and religion can influence your
perception of people from different cultures. Coming from a different culture myself, I understand the
concept of cultural differences. The way people dress, the music they listen to, the way they talk, and
even what they eat/cook can all influence how you see someone from a different culture. When I see
people from different cultures, I’m very accepting and I find other cultures interesting. When people see
me, their first assumption is that I’m white and American. But when I either start to speaking Spanish
they start to realize that I’m Hispanic and they start to make assumptions but in reality, I’m follow
similar styles as the American culture, even tho I’m from a different culture.
