Operation procedure for Compressive Test Machine

Introduce of Concrete Compressive machine.

1. Prepare the cube samples and test record form, inform QSS and relevant personal to witness
when necessary. Check physical condition of the test machine.
2. Clean the bearing surface of the testing machine

3. Place the specimen in the machine in such a manner that the load shall be applied to the
opposite sides of the cube cast.

4. Rotate the movable portion gently by hand so that it touches the top surface of the
specimen.

5. Close the safety Guard Door

6. Pressure loading and releasing

a) Turn on the power
b) Turn on the motor
c) Close the Pressure release valve
d) Slowly Turn-on the pressure loading valve, and maintain the load increasing rate between
11.25kN/s to 18kN/s

e) Observe the Load value display and record down the maximum value of the pressure load.
f) Turn off the pressure loading valve
g) Turn on the pressure releasing valve
h) Turn off the motor

i) Open the safety guard door

j) Observe the cube damaging pattern.
k) Rolling up the top bearing plate to release the cube.
l) Remove the crushed cube from the bearing plate and dispose.
m) Clean the bearing plat for next test.

7. Turn off the power after all the cube test finished.
