ELIGIBILITY

This Invitation for Bid is open to all Bidders meeting the following requirements:
1. Tenders documents, will be issued from the office of Director (O&M) IESCO Head Office G-7/4 Islamabad on
any working day, during the office hours on the presentation of written request on original letter pad of the firm
from the owner of the firm(s) or their authorized representative(s) original CNIC having valid original power of
attorney on stamp paper not older then three months.
2.Pakistan Engineering Council Registration renewed for year 2022-23 with at least Category C-6
having Specialization Code of CE-10.
3. The bidder must have demonstrated at least three year experience in the field of construction as
per registration categories of PEC.
4. A Bidder may be in person, private entity, or government-owned enterprise or any combination who is
active tax payer.
5.The bidder/JV shall have furnished income tax returns for last three years to FBR.
6.Bidder will provide the fresh bank balance of firm upto 50% of estimate cost.
Terms & Conditions:
a.Presentation of false / wrong documents will be strictly discouraged and their CDR shall be forfeited besides
black listing.
b.The tender documents will not be issued to the contractors who have already been working in this office and
they have not completed their works yet for the year 2021-22 within in stipulated period.
c.Deposit Earnest Money

form of CDR in favor of Executive Engineer Civil IESCO shall also be submitted in this office purchase the
tender formand alongwith with the bid.
d.The lowest bidder who tendered the rate below BOQ have to deposit 10% of bid amount minus Rs. @ 7% Each
as additional security from scheduled bank within 03 Days otherwise 3% CDR will be forfeited in favor of
IESCO.
e.Tender Opening Committee reserves the rights to reject the one or all tender under PPRA rule 33 (1).
f.Tenders are also available at PPRA / IESCO website.
