The table shows the numbers of protons and neutrons in atoms of some
elements. Each element is represented by a letter. The letters are not the
chemical symbols of the elements.
• Use beans or bottle tops to make models of the atoms, including their
nuclei and electrons.
• Complete the table. You will need the periodic table at the end of the
Student Book to fill in the last column.
