Question No.(1):

A rectangular elevated tank of dimensions (9mx6m) and wall height 3m. calculate the
load distribution, BMD, and NFD in both the vertical and horizontal directions for the
following case:
1- Tank walls are free
2- Tank walls are simply supported by a horizontal beam at the top of the tank
3- tank is covered with a stiff roof
and design and give deatailed structural drawings for the reinforcement details for the
tank in all cases above.
Question No.(2):
The tank shown in Fig. below shows a plan of an uncovered water tank having
(15.00mx15.00m) plan dimensions & 4.00m wall height. The tank is supported on 9
columns as sown in figure.
Design the tank & draw vertical & horizontal sections showing concrete dimensions and
the reinforcement details.
