Reflection on a Lesson Plan Taught

Intern Name:

1. What steps did you go through to create this lesson? With whom did you talk, discuss, or edit your lesson?
I reflected on lessons that I had helped with and participated in at my internship, and I thought about lessons I
had been through myself.

2. What parts of the instructional plan worked as you anticipated?

The students love to play games, so putting them in groups and making it competitive made it very fun for
them.

3. What, if any, adjustments needed to be made once you began?

I had to slow down the lesson and speak louder and clearer.

4. How well did you anticipate the materials needed? Did you realize you needed more or less as you taught
your lesson?
I talked to Mrs. Coates to make sure the number of studetns in the class.

5. To what degree do you feel that this lesson was a success? What evidence do you have for the success of
the lesson? (Hint: Student learning is the key to a lesson’s success!)

I believe the lesson was a success because the students seemed to enjoy it and did very well on the Blooket

6. If you could do this lesson again with the same students, would you do anything differently? If so, what?

I would try to bring a prize to make the games more fun because it would make them very excited.

7. Any last comments/reflections about your lesson?

I think the students enjoyed it.
