Dua for FAZR

Protection from the fire of Jahannam (recite 7 times)

‫اَللَّ ُه َّم َأ ِج ْرنِي ِم َن النَّا ِر‬
Allahumma ajirni minan nar
O Allah, protect me from the Fire

Protection from the Evil (recite 3 times)

The Messenger of Allah said, “He who recites three times every morning and evening: nothing will
harm him.” [Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi]

‫اء َو هُ َو‬ ِ ْ‫ض رُّ َم َع ا ْس ِم ِه َش ْى ٌء فِ ي اَأل ر‬

َّ ‫ض َو الَ فِ ي‬
ِ ‫الس َم‬ ُ َ‫بِ ْس ِم هَّللا ِ الَّ ِذ ي الَ ي‬
ُ ِ‫يع ْال َع ل‬
‫يم‬ َّ
ُ ‫الس ِم‬

Bismillahil-lazhi la yadurru ma’as-mihi shai’un fil-ardi wala fis-

sama’i, wa Huwas-Sami’ul-‘Alim
In the name of Allah with Whose Name nothing on earth or in heaven harms and He is the All-Hearing the
All-Knowing and is then harmed by anything.

Paradise guaranteed upon death

The Prophet Muhammad  said, If somebody recites this invocation during the night, and if he should
die then, he will go to Paradise (or he will be from the people of Paradise) And If he recites it in the
morning, and if he should die on the same day, he will have the same fate."

َ ‫ت َربِّي الَ ِإلَهَ ِإالَّ َأ ْن‬

‫ت‬ َ ‫اللَّهُ َّم َأ ْن‬
Allahumma anta rabbee la ilaha illa anta,
O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshiped except You,

َ ‫َخلَ ْقتَنِي َوَأنَا َع ْب ُد‬

‫ك‬
 khalaqtanee wa-ana ‘abduka,
You created me and I am Your servant

ُ ‫ك َما ا ْستَطَع‬
‫ْت‬ َ ‫َوَأنَا َعلَى َع ْه ِد‬
َ ‫ك َو َو ْع ِد‬
wa-ana ‘alaa ‘ahdika wawa’dika mas-tata’tu,
and I abide to Your covenant and promise [to honor it] as best I can,

ُ ‫صنَع‬
‫ْت‬ َ ‫َأ ُع ْو ُذ ِب‬
َ ‫ ِم ْن َشرِّ َما‬  ‫ك‬
a’oothu bika min sharri ma sana’tu,
I take refuge in You from the evil of which I committed

َّ َ‫ك َعل‬
‫ي‬ َ َ‫َأب ُْو ُء ل‬
َ ِ‫بِنِ ْع َمت‬  ‫ك‬
aboo-o laka bini’matika ‘alaya,
I acknowledge Your favor upon me

‫َوَأب ُْو ُء بِ َذ ْنبِ ْي فَا ْغفِرْ لِي‬

wa-aboo-o bizambee, faghfir lee
and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me

َ ‫ِإاَّل َأ ْن‬  ‫ب‬

‫ت‬ ُّ ‫فَِإنَّهُ اَل يَ ْغفِ ُر‬
َ ‫الذنُ ْو‬
fa-innahu la yaghfiruz-zunooba illa ant.
for verily none can forgive sins except You.

Dua for protection from all types of evil

‫ َو ِم ْن‬، ‫وء‬
ِ ‫الس‬ َ ‫ َو ِم ْن َس‬، ‫وء‬
ُّ ‫اع ِة‬ ُّ ‫ َو ِم ْن لَ يْلَ ِة‬، ‫وء‬
ِ ‫الس‬ ُ ‫اللَّ ه َُّم ِإ نِّي َأ ُع‬
ُّ ‫وذ بِ كَ ِم ْن يَ وْ ِم‬
ِ ‫الس‬
َ َ‫ار ْال ُم ق‬
ِ‫ام ة‬ ِ ‫وء فِ ي َد‬
ِ ‫الس‬
ُّ ‫ار‬ ِ ‫ َو ِم ْن َج‬، ‫وء‬
ِ ‫الس‬
ُّ ‫ب‬ ِ ‫اح‬ِ ‫ص‬ َ

Allaahum-ma in-nee a‛oodhu bika min yawmis-soo’, wa min laylatis-

soo’, wa min sa‛atis-soo’, wa min ṣaaḥibis-soo’, wa min jaaris-soo’
fee daaril-muqaamah
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from bad days, bad nights, bad hours, bad companions, and
bad neighbors in my place of residence.
 ‫حسبي هللا لديني‬
hasbiyallaahu li deeni
Allah is sufficient for my Din

‫حسبي هللا لما أهمني‬

hasbiyallaahu limaa ahammani
Allah is sufficient for my concerns and worries)

‫حسبي هللا لمن بغي عَل ّي‬

hasbiyallaahu liman baghaa alayya
Allah is sufficient for those who oppress me)

‫حسبي هللا لمن حسدني‬

hasbiyal laahu liman hasadani
Allah is sufficient for those who are jealous over me

‫حسبي هللا لمن كادني بِسوء‬

hasbiyal laahu kaadani bi soo'in
Allah is sufficient against those who plot against me

‫حسبي هللا ِع ْند ا ْل َم ْوت‬

hasbiyal laahu indal mauti.
Allah is sufficient at the time of death

‫حسبي هللا ِع ْند المساءلة فِي ا ْلقَ ْبر‬

Hasbiyallaahu indal mus'alati fil qabr.
Allah is sufficient at the time of questioning in the grave

‫حسبي هللا ِع ْند ا ْل ِمي َزان‬

Hasbiyallaahu indal mizaan.
Allah is sufficient at the time of questioning in the grave
 ِّ ‫حسبي هللا ِع ْند‬
‫الص َراط‬
Hasbiyal laahu indas siraat
Allah is sufficient at the bridge

‫ش ْال َع ِظ ِيم‬
ِ ْ‫ت َوهُ َو َربُّ ْال َعر‬
ُ ‫َح ْسبِ َي هَّللا ُ الَ ِإلَهَ ِإالَّ هُ َو َعلَ ْي ِه ت ََو َّك ْل‬
Hasbiyallaahullazi laa ilaaha illa huwwa alaihi tawakkaltu wa huwa
rabbul arshil azeem.
Allah is sufficient, there is no Deity except him. I rely upon him and turn in repentance to him

‫ْض‬ ُّ‫اش َاء َو ِسَع ُكر ِ ي‬
َ ‫ْسهُا َلسَّم‬
ِ ;‫او‬ ‫يء ِ ْمن ِ ْ ِلع ِمهِإِ َّ َبم‬
َ ‫ال‬ ٍ ْ ‫ونب َش‬
ِ َ ‫يط‬ ْ‫عُعُده ِْإَِّبِإ ِنذالَه َيُْلعم َم َ َابيْنيَأِْد ِْيهم َ َوم ْ َلف‬
ُ ‫اخهُم َو َالِيُح‬ ‫يي ْ َشف ِ ْ َن‬ ِ ‫ات َ َوم ِافياَألر‬
َ ‫ْض َ ْمنَا ِذ َّاذل‬ ‫سٌة َو َ ْن‬
ِ ‫ال ٌو َمل َهُم ِافيا َلسَّم َاو‬ ‫يلق ُوم َْأت‬
‫الُ ُخُذه ِ َن‬ ‫الهِإ َّ ُالَه ْوال َح ُّ ْيَُّا‬
‫هَّللا‬
‫ُ َلَِإ‬
َ ‫ال ُوده ِ ْحف ُظ َهُم َاو ُ َه ْوا َِلع ُّ ْا‬
‫يلع ِظُيم‬ ‫َو َ َيُئ‬
Allahu la ilaha illa Huwal-Haiyul-Qaiyum La ta’khujuhu sinatou wa la
nawm, lahu ma fis-samawati wa ma fil-‘ard Man jal-laji yashfa’u
‘indahu illa bi-idhnihi Ya’lamu ma baina aidihim wa ma khalfahum,
wa la yuhituna bi shai’im-min ‘ilmihi illa bima sha’a Wasi’a
kursiyuhus-samawati wal ard, wa la ya’uduhu hifdhuhuma Wa Huwal
‘Aliyul-Adheem.
“Allah! There is no god but He – the Living, The Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can
seize Him Nor Sleep. His are all things In the heavens and on earth. Who is there can
intercede In His presence except As he permitteth? He knoweth What (appeareth to His
creatures As) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall they encompass Aught of his
knowledge Except as He willeth. His throne doth extend Over the heavens And on earth,
and He feeleth No fatigue in guarding And preserving them, For He is the Most High. The
Supreme (in glory).”

ُ ‫الح ُّي ال َق ُيو ُم َوأ ُت‬

‫وب إ َلي ِه‬ َ ‫هللا الَّذِي ال إ َل َه إال ه َُو‬
َ ‫أس َت ْغفِ ُر‬

Astaghfir ullah-alladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Haiyul-Qayyumu, wa atubu
ilaihi
I seek the forgiveness of Allah, there is no true god except Allah, the Ever-Living, the Self-
Subsisting, and I turn to Him in repentance
 Subhaan allah : 33 TIMES
Al Hamdu lillah: 33 TIMES
Allahu Akbar : 34 TIMES
Ya Azeemu Ya Allah 100x

. You should then place your right hand on the forehead and read, 

‫ِب َعني ا ْل َهم َوال ُح ْزن‬ ْ ‫ِي ال ٰإل َه ِإال ه َُو‬

ْ ‫ الل ُهم َأ ْذه‬، ‫الرح ٰمنُ الرحِيم‬ ْ ‫هللا الذ‬
ِ ‫ِب ْس ِم‬

Bismillahillazhy laa ilaaha illa huwa-Rahmaanu-Raheem. Allahumma

Azh-hib ‘annil-hamma wal-huzn.
 In the name of Allah, besides whom there is none worthy of worship, The most Gracious, The most

Merciful. O Allah! Remove me from worry and depression

protects you from the Shaytaan and assures that your sins are forgiven
‫ وهو على كل شيء قدير‬،‫ له الملك وله الحمد‬،‫ال إله إال هللا وحده ال شريك له‬
La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahulmulku wa
lahulhamdu, wa Huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in Qadir
there is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him. His is the sovereignty and
His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent

This Dua protects you from the Shaytaan, all your undertakings become easy,
anxiety is removed, your Imaan is safeguarded, your enemy self destroys
himself, your good deeds increase and it becomes easy for you to walk across
the Pulsiraat. (1 OR 3 TIMES).

Allahumak fini kulla muhhim mim haysu shi'ta wa min ayna shi'ta hasbiyal
laahu li deeni hasbi yal laahu li dunyaa ya hasbi yal laahu limaa ahamm
mani has biyal laahu liman baghaa hasbiyal laahu liman hasadani hasbiyal
laahu kaadani bi soo'in hasbiyal laahu indal mauti. Hasbiyal laahu indal
mas'alati fil qabri. Hasbiyal laahu indal mizaan. Hasbiyal laahu indas siraat.
Hasbiyal laahul lazi laa ilaaha illa huwwa alaihi tawakkaltu wa huwa rabbul
arshil azeem.

You should then perform the 2 Rakaahs of Salaatul Chaast approximately 20

minutes after sunrise. It is mentioned that by performing this Salaah, you
attain the Sawab of one complete Hajj and Umrah.
