Murder on the Orient Express

Agatha Christie
Characters that play key roles in the story are Hercule Poirot,
Ratchett, Mary Debenham, Greta. I like all the characters of the
book. They are all presented in a mysterious way.
Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express is a classic
example of the locked room mystery. A trope of suspense fiction
in which a crime is committed under seemingly impossible
conditions. Here, as in all of Christie’s novels, the crime is
murder, the victim an unknown passenger named Mr. Ratchett,
stabbed twelve times, and the scene of the crime the
claustrophobic sleeping berths of the Orient Express. One of the
passengers happens to be Hercule Poirot, the Belgian detective.
I really love the book. It is great piece of art by Agatha Christie.
Lessons learnt from the book are: A lack of options is an
opportunity for creativity, yesterday’s solutions will not solve
today’s problems.
I highly recommend this book. It’s an amazing book with
mysterious conflicts.
