Preparation
• Create a group of 4 to 5 people

• Pick up 3 sheets of paper per person

• Bring your CS50 pen

• Find a table for your group in the library or the multi-


purpose rooms

• Determine your group leader

• The leader is the person whose rst name comes rst

Process
1. The person sitting to the right of the group leader teaches rst
2. The group leader sets a timer for 5 minutes
3. The teacher leads a short lesson on a topic of their choice
4. After 5 minutes, the group leader stops the teacher
5. For 3–4 minutes, group members write anonymous feedback
6. The group leader reads the feedback
7. Repeat steps 2–6 for the person to the right of the present teacher

Feedback
1. Tear a piece of paper in half
2. On one half-sheet, write at least two comments
3. One comment must be something you thought the teacher did well
4. One comment must be a critique: something you think the teacher
could improve
5. After everyone is done writing, crumble the papers, toss them in the
middle of the table, and shu e
6. After the group leader reads, the teacher should keep the paper
