1. Prepare ‘PCR Negative Confirmation’ before entering Korea
- If you do not submit it upon arrival, you will not be allowed to enter Korea.
- Entry not allowed even if an invalid confirmation is submitted.

2. ‘PCR Negative Confirmation’ fitting criteria

Category Fitting criteria
▶ It should be a test based on NAATs(Nucleic acid amplification tests) techniques.
Test * Only tests based on ‘Polymerase Chain Reaction’ (PCR, LAMP, TMA, SDA, NEAR etc) shall be recognized,
Method and antigen and antibody detection tests (RAT, ELISA etc) shall not be recognized.
* It is not accepted if samples are taken on its own (e.g. at-home-test) regardless of the test method.
▶ It shall be a confirmation issued within 72 hours of departure date.
Issued
* Ex) If you depart at 10:00 on May 20, 2021, it will be recognized if the document is issued after 10:00 on

▶ Name*, date of birth**, test method, test date, test result, issuance date and test agency’s name
Required shall be written.
Statements * The name must be the same as the one on the passport.
** Passport number or ID card number is also available.
▶ The test results should be “negative”.
Test Result
* Not recognized if the matters stated in the test result are 'undetermined', 'positive', etc.
▶ The 'Test Method' item shall be issued in Korean or English.
Issued * If the inspection method is not in Korean or English, the translation certificate (personal translation
Language requires certification by a notary agency or embassy) shall be submitted together with the translation of
Korean or English.

3. COVID-19 Quarantine Procedures

⑧ Immigration screening
⑨ Pick up baggage
⑩ Go to gate 12. Stand by.
 ⑪ Meet the staff holding a picket with your name on it.
⑫ Go to the Health Center and take a PCR test
⑬ Go to the self-quarantine place with waiting the staff.
⑭ Reinstall ‘HOME QUARANTINE SAFETY PROTECTION’ App. and start self-quarantine.
⑮ Take a PCR test at the Health Center a day before self-quarantine ends.

5. Self-Quarantine Guide
▶ Self-quarantine term : Date of entry ~ Date of entry + the 14th day
▶ You should never come out of the room during self-quarantine. In case of violation, you will be forced to
leave Korea for your country.
▶ Check your body temperature and health status twice a day (10 a.m., 3 p.m.) and then upload via the ‘HOME
QUARANTINE SAFETY PROTECTION’ App. installed on your phone.
▶ Lunch and dinner are served outside the door at the designated time. Take it to your room and have a meal.
(Lunch: 1 p.m., Dinner: 6 p.m.)
▶ The milk and cereal served are for a few days breakfast. Have one set at a time in the morning.
▶ Ramen provided are snacks that you can eat at night.
▶ Garbage Separation Guide
* Put leftovers in transparent plastic bag provided after meals and place it in the freezer of the refrigerator.
* Wash food packaging bowls once and put them in separate orange plastic bags provided.
* Put other wastes in separate orange plastic bags provided.
* The garbage bags will be retrieved after self- quarantine.

6. Self-quarantine services and costs

entering Korea.

3. After completing self-quarantine, SAWLINK Academy picks you up to KTX station near the self-quarantine
accommodation. Afterwards, students individually using the KTX and taxi should go to the university. However,
if there are more than 10 students traveling to the same area, we can pick you up by bus for KTX and taxi
costs.
