Scope and Delimitation

This study focuses on examining if microfinance effective or not in easing the poverty in
Carigara.
This study will be conducted in selected member of MFI in Carigara Leyte. Therefore other
families that are member of MFI will not be included on our participants, for this research is only
for the selected member of MFI in Carigara.
While the emphasis on the context of the study may constitute strength to the study this, as well
as its restriction to a selected member of MFI, limits the generalizability of the result. A more
comprehensive nation-wide study is thus required to validate the findings. The researchers is also
limited in resources and time, as well as the perception of respondent about the major concept
inquired and their willingness to provide a reliable information.
