ERS SIMULATOR PROCEDURE

OIL PURIFIER

MD 12-ME Lubrication Oil System

· Open Lo purif supply valve

· Open Lo purif return valve

MD 09-LO Purifier System

· Set LO purif feed pump speed setting to 50

· Set LO purif back-press set point to 50

· Open LO purif operating tank make-up valve, wait until the level of the
operating water tank reaches 0.50

· Open LO purif feed pump

· Set the temperature controller in auto and adjust set point to 88

· Start Purifier by pushing the ON button

· Set the purifier controller to AUTO

· Set LO purif back-press set point to 30

Refrigeration System

MD 64-Refrigeration System

· Start the Refrig comp LO circ pump

· Open the Refrig receiver vapor valve

· Start any one of the Refrig syst SW supply pump 1 or Refrig syst SW supply
pump 2

· Open Refrig comp LOC SW shut off valve

· Open Refrig receiver inlet valve

· Open Refrig receiver outlet valve

· Set to manual the Temp Ctr to 0.00 %

· Start the Refrig comp start

· Set to Auto the Temp Ctr with a set roint temperature of -18.00 %

· Start the Refrig meat/fish store air fan 1 or both 2 air fan (small)

· Start the Refrig prov store air fan

Steering Gear System

MD 58-Steering Gear System

· Check content in hydraulic oil tanks, refill if necessary.

· Check that steering gear and expansion tank shut off valves are open

· Check that safematic valve block valve is open.

· Start steering gear pumps locally or remotely from control room or bridge.

· Steering gear exp tank 1 shut off valve

· Steering gear exp tank 2 shut off valve

· Steering gear 1 p shut off valve & Steering gear 1 shut off valve

· Steering gear 2 p shut off valve & Steering gear 2 s shut off valve

· Set to LOCAL the Ruder Cotrol

· Set to OPEN the Steering gear safematic valve

· Set to REMOTE the Rudder Control

· Start the Steering gear 1 & 2 Pump

· Set to Remote 1 & 2 pump
