hospital. Dr. Manasa, Dr. Dedeepya and Dr.Madhuri who are the senior batch of the hospital
administration course guided us all along with the flow of the hospital and getting into the
details of functioning of each department.
The first visit was to the emergency, which is a different block of the hospital where we saw a
special entrance to the ambulance for direct entry of the patients without any hindrance.
The different Triage system divided zone wise like green zone for stable patient, the red zone
for critical patients who needs urgent attention and care, and then the yellow zone for patients
who are not in a critical stage, but needs medical care. The emergency department has 2 OT

resuscitation unit.
A conversation with Sister Deepa, the head of infection control committee explained about the
measures taken by hospital to control the infection. They had a HICC committee in which they
meet regularly for the meeting about the related infection. The measures they take like frequent
handwashing, segregation waste, laundry-bedsheet pillow cover, self-vaccination.
