# The main object to visit Primary Health Care Centre are :-

• What is hospital and hospital pharmacy?

• How we differentiate outpatient and inpatient drug distribution system.
• Role of pharmacist in clinical pharmacy.
• Role of pharmacist in hospital and patient counseling.

# Prior preparation of students to visit the centre

First of all the our faculty member took the permission from the Principle sir to organise the visit plane.
Then the faculty member contact with the incharge of Primary Health Care Centre

Then all the students followed the guidance of Covid protocol.

Everyone wears the mask and kept a sanitizer with them.

Then we reached at the healthcare centre.

# Our experience during the visit of Primary Health Care Centre

Firstly we entered in the healthcare centre . There we meet to the pharmacist and the doctor at the
reception area .The pharmacist who was our guide for visit of centre .

Firstly he took us to the reception area

And told us that here we maintain all the data of centre like the total number of admitted patients,
about the in and out patients, he also told that here we can get all the records of in and out patients .
Then we moved towards the Vaccine Store Room where all types of vaccine were Stored in a required
temperature in different different equipments . Then he shows us the NC ward in which the treatment
checking and tests of preganent women were done. Then we moved towards the cabin of doctor . Then
we moved towards the wards in which the patient were admitted . As the primary healthcare centre is
village so it was not too big although there were 8-10 different wards .

After visiting the centre we asked some questions from the pharmacist about the,

* What is the role of pharmacist in the centre ?

*How he serve the centre ?

*How he helped the patients during the Covid ?

*What is the role of pharmacist in patients counseling ?

It was a good experience for me. During the visit, I learnt a lot about the role of pharmacist in hospital,
primary health centre, in counseling of patients.
