FADE IN:

EXT. WOODSBORO PARK - NIGHT

It is cold and dark. Snow covers the ground, and it
continues to snow lightly. Three people, sit on a frozen
fountain, two of which- sitting on the far left of the
fountain, are kissing passionately. Next to them sits a half
empty bottle of vodka.

They are, EMILY JOSEPHINE, a sweet, and pretty looking girl,

with long, fine, blond hair. She is about the age of
twenty-five, and appears to be a bit drunk.
The man is, ERIC PIERCING, a handsome, well built young man,
about the age of twenty-six. With short, dark brown hair,
light stubble, and a striking stare. He also appears a bit
drunk, although visibly more than Emily.
On the far right of the fountain, staring in the opposite
direction of Eric, and Emily. She is RAMONA HAROLDS, a
sharp, and stern looking girl, the age of Twenty-six. With
long wavy red hair, and a beautiful pale skin. She wears a
long, and red, plaid overcoat, made of wool, and a black
beanie hat. She is the only person of the three, that looks
entirely sober.
Suddenly her phone rings, startling her. She looks down at
her purse which sits calmly on the fountain next to her. She
reaches down into it and takes out a cellphone, and answers
it quickly.
RAMONA
Hello?
MAN (V.O)
Hello Ramona.
RAMONA
Um... Hello. Who exactly is this?
MAN (V.O)
Guess.
RAMONA
I don’t feel much like guessing.
MAN (V.O)
Why not?
2.

RAMONA
Because I know what you are trying
to do. If I try to guess who it is,
you will say it isn’t who I
guessed, no matter what.

Ramona turns around, staring up the park’s hill, and across

the street, at a large movie theater. There is a large sign
above the double door entrance. Which reads: "STAB 9! Now in
theaters."

Next to the theater, is a small video store, simply called:

"Robbie’s Video Store". It is open, but it looks to be
almost completely empty.
She sighs lightly, and turns back around, rolling her eyes.

RAMONA (CONT.D)
And after I supposedly guess wrong,
you will begin to ask me different
questions about myself until you
come to the question: "What’s your
favorite scary movie."
(annoyed)
And frankly, I am tired of
listening to one Stab prank call
after another, just because I
happen to be friends with Kirby.

MAN (V.O)
Wow, you know your Stab.
RAMONA
Yes, I do. Now... Tell me who this
is, or I am hanging up, Mr.
Ghostface.
MAN (V.O)
I am the man with the knife, about
to slip your throat open, unless
you follow my fucking rules.
RAMONA
Then by all means come over here
and do so.

She angrily shuts her cellphone, and stuffs it back into her
purse, taking a deep breath. She finally turns to Emily, and
Eric, who have stopped kissing.
3.

Emily stares over at her, with a confused, and almost

worried expression, and Eric, is taking a drink from the
bottle of vodka. Emily stands up, and crosses to the
opposite side of the fountain, and takes a seat next to
Ramona.

EMILY
Who was that?
RAMONA
No one, just another "Stab" prank.
Hopefully they settle down soon,
I’m fucking sick of them.
EMILY
Yeah, me too.

RAMONA
(changing the subject)
So, you seem to be enjoying
yourself over there.
EMILY
Yeah, Eric is sweet... So where is
Kirby? There is only one more
showing of Stab, if she doesn’t get
here soon we’ll miss it.
RAMONA
I don’t know. She said she would be
here an hour ago. My guess is she
decided she couldn’t come. To be
honest I never understood why she
wanted to come see this anyway.

EMILY
She says she wants ’closure’. That
she doesn’t want to turn the other
way whenever a Stab film is
released. She doesn’t want to live
in the dark.
RAMONA
I know Em. I was there.
EMILY
Sorry... Maybe you should call her,
see if she is still coming.
RAMONA
Maybe I should.
4.

Ramona stands up harshly, and reaches into her purse, once

again taking out her cellphone, this time flipping it open,
and dialing a number quickly, before lifting the receiver up
to her ear.

She paces back and forth nervously, waiting for someone to

answer, for a few seconds, before someone finally does.
RAMONA
Kirby?

KIRBY (V.O)
Oh, hey Ramona. What’s up?
RAMONA
I was about to ask you the same
question. Where are you? We are
going to miss the last showing of
the night.
KIRBY (V.O)
Oh... right. The movie.

RAMONA
Yes, the movie. Are you coming?
KIRBY (V.O)
I’m sorry, I can’t. I just can’t
not tonight at least. It is just
too soon, It probably isn’t a good
idea anyway.
RAMONA
What about Robbie? Is he still
coming?

KIRBY (V.O)
No. he is going to stay with me
tonight.

RAMONA
Alright, fine. So, I guess we will
see you tomorrow.
KIRBY (V.O)
Are you mad?

RAMONA
(possibly lying)
No, no... Not mad. Just a little
tired, that’s all. But I will see
you tomorrow. Goodnight.
5.

KIRBY (V.O)
Thank for understanding.
RAMONA
No problem.

KIRBY (V.O)
Goodnight Ramona.
RAMONA
Goodnight.

Ramona hangs up the phone, and sticks it back into her

purse. She sits down on the fountain sighing deeply. And
closing her eyes softly.
She then opens them, and turns to Emily, who looks down at
her, smiling slightly.
EMILY
So... I am assuming that she won’t
be coming to see the movie?

RAMONA
Nope.
EMILY
So are we going to go see Stab 9
anyway?

RAMONA
Nah, I don’t see much of a point,
it starts in five minutes. Besides,
she probably will change her mind
by tomorrow, and will want us to go
with her.
EMILY
So what will we do?

Eric who had been listening on the whole conversations,

suddenly stands up, and slowly trudges over to them, and
sits down next to Emily, wrapping his arm around her
shoulder. She smiles, as he begins to kiss her neck softly.
She chuckles, blushing, and pushes him off, continuing to
laugh. She turns to Ramona and shakes her head.
EMILY
(laughing)
Maybe we could go rent a movie at
Robbie’s video shop instead?
6.

ERIC
Sure, I suppose that could be fun.
RAMONA
I wouldn’t mind getting a movie. It
was our original plan anyway, so we
might as well do so. Besides, I
have been wanting to see Black Swan
for ages.
EMILY
Okay, so it’s a plan.
ERIC
(whispering in Emily’s ear)
And maybe we could get a special
friend’s and family deal, since it
is Robbie’s store. Right?
EMILY
Maybe, although I don’t really like
getting special treatment from
friends, it feels like cheating.

Suddenly, Emily’s phone RINGS. She gasps, slightly startled,

but she then reaches into her pocket, and takes out her
phone. She checks the Caller id. It reads: "UNKNOWN CALLER".
She sighs, but answers it.

EMILY
Hello?
MAN (V.O)
Apparently your friend doesn’t take
me very seriously.

Emily’s eyes widen, and she turns to Ramona, pressing the

receiver of her phone, up against her chest.
EMILY
It’s the guy that called you
before.
RAMONA
Tell him to fuck off.

Ramona sighs, and reaches out to the bottle of Vodka,

opening it, and taking a large sip of it, before handing it
to Eric, who takes another sip of it.
Emily sighs, and lifts the receiver of the phone back to her
ear, and smiles sarcastically.
7.

EMILY
Listen, we aren’t interested in
Stab Pranks tonight, we have had
enough for one week, understand? If
you call one more time we will call
the police, understand?
MAN (V.O)
(sinister)
And if you hang up one more time,
I will cut your fucking face off.

EMILY
(scared)
I...I got to go.
MAN (V.O)
I can tell you are scared. You
don’t need to be, just don’t hang
up, and I will leave you alone.
EMILY
I’m not scared. I just have to go.
Goodbye.
She hangs up, and sticks it back into her pocket. Breathing
hard and nervously. Ramona rolls her eyes.

RAMONA
You should have just hung up.
Ramona reaches out, and takes Emily’s hand. And helps her to
her feet, then helps Eric to his feet as well. They all
then, begin to walk up the hill the best they can...

EXT. STREET - NIGHT

After reaching the top, they cross the street without
hesitation, walking past two kids dressed up in ghostface
costumes, who run by them, and through the movie theater
doors.
Eric chuckles loudly. But Emily punches him playfully in the
side, and shuts him up. The three all enter into...

INT. ROBBIE’S VIDEO STORE - NIGHT

It is filled with shelves of movies, superheated by genre.
And to the left is a counter, where a man sits on a chair,
half asleep, with a pair of headphones resting around his
neck.
8.

ERIC
You get the movie Ramona. I am a
little busy.
RAMONA
How are you busy? You are just
standing there.
ERIC
I’m doing this.

He then sweeps Emily into his arms, and begins to kiss her
passionately, she kisses him back, giggling. Ramona rolls
her eyes, and hurries into the "Thriller/Horror" section.
And begins to scan the shelves.
Eventually she reaches out and grabs the last copy of "Black
Swan". She smiles, and tucks it under her arm, when...
Suddenly, her cellphone RINGS.
She groans and kneels down to the floor, setting her bag
onto the ground, she reaches inside and takes out her phone,
and answers it.
RAMONA
(angry, nervous)
This better not be who the hell I
think it is.

MAN (V.O)
Wow, you sure took a chance. What
if it was Kirby? With all that has
happened to her in the past, you
would think you would have the
sense to treat her better.
RAMONA
I treat her as I would anyone else.
She doesn’t want special treatment.

MAN (V.O)
She doesn’t?
RAMONA
No. She doesn’t, maybe you should
take some notes if you are going to
prank someone who knows her.
Goodbye now.
MAN (V.O)
This isn’t a FUCKING prank! I know
for a fact that you and your

friends are in ROBBIE’S VIDEO
STORE, and you are looking for
BLACK SWAN!
Ramona’s eyes widen, as she slowly stands up, peering over
the shelves, and out the floor length windows of the store.
It is almost completely dark.

MAN (V.O)(CONT.D)
Do you still think this is a prank?
Ramona slowly shakes, she is visibly scared. She shakes her
head no.

MAN (V.O)(CONT.D)
Good. Now, does that mean you are
ready for the first question?
RAMONA
Yes... Yes. I think so.

MAN
Good... Now go get rid of your
friends, I want to speak to you...
alone...!

The line goes DEAD.

Ramona crosses the store slowly, and quietly, gripping her
phone tightly in her right hand.

She comes to a stop, in front of Eric, and Emily, who now

sit lazily on the ground. Emily leans her cheek on Eric’s
shoulder.
RAMONA
Hey! Get up!

Eric opens his eyes, clearly dazed, but eventually gets up

to his feet, and helps Emily up after him.
RAMONA (CONT.D)
You can guys can head to my house,
it is the closest here, I will be
right after you.
EMILY
You aren’t coming?

RAMONA
No. I have to get this movie first.
Now go.
10.

ERIC
Why? We will wait for you.
EMILY
Did something happen Ramona? You
seem kinda of nervous. Did the guy
call back?
RAMONA
No, everything is fine, and no, you
will not be waiting up for me. Just
go!
ERIC
(sighing)
Fine. See you there.

He then grabs Emily’s arm, and pulls her out of the building
without further questioning. Ramona turns to the man sitting
behind the counter.
CUT TO:

EXT. ROBBIE’S VIDEO STORE ENTRANCE - NIGHT

Emily and Eric walk across the sidewalk. Eric suddenly
stops, and looks over to Emily with widened eyes. He looks
slightly shocked, and upset.

ERIC
(aggravated)
I think I left my vodka on the
fountain.

EMILY
Are you sure?
ERIC
Yes. Positive... You stay here,
I’ll go run and get it.

He let’s go of her hand, and begins to cross the street, but

Emily quickly reaches out and grabs his hand once again. He
turns to her, and she shakes her head.

EMILY
Your not going alone, I’ll go with
you.
ERIC
Fine... But I am not going to slow
down for you if you fall behind.
11.

Emily nods. Eric smiles, and the two then quickly cross the
street and start down the park’s hill.

CUT TO:

INT. ROBBIE’S VIDEO STORE - NIGHT

Ramona with her back to the counter, scans the entire store
carefully, with widened and terrified eyes. She grips the
DVD in her left hand, and her cellphone in her right.
MAN
(sudden and loud)
Ramona?

BEAT.
She gasps and spins around, staring directly into the
striking eyes of, DAVID ARNATZ. A handsome to average
looking man, a little bit on the geeky side, about the age
of twenty-five.
He smiles pleasantly, and takes the DVD from her without her
realizing it, and scans it.
RAMONA
(seems distracted)
Oh hey David. You startled me.
DAVID
So have you decided on my offer
yet? Will you go out with me this
Saturday?
RAMONA
Um... I don’t know. I am still
thinking about it. But I am a
little distracted right now, so if
you could please just check out the
DVD for me, and I will be on my
way.
DAVID
Very well.
He puts the DVD into a bag, and quickly hands it to her and
smiles brightly. She sighs, and takes it tangling it by her
side.

DAVID
On the house... You are friends
with Robbie right?
12.

RAMONA
Yes... Yes I am.
She turns away and hurries to the doors, and is about to
exit through the double doors when she stops suddenly.

DAVID
Is there something wrong?
She takes a breath and shakes her head, but she does not
turn around. Closes her eyes, as if trying her very best to
think clearly.
RAMONA
No. Everything is FINE.
She then pushes her way through the doors outside to...

EXT. ROBBIE’S VIDEO STORE ENTRANCE - NIGHT

She slowly crosses the sidewalk, looking from side to side
as if expecting someone to jump out and stab her. But The
sidewalk is completely empty.
RAMONA
(shouting)
EMILY!?...ERIC!?...ANYONE?

She takes out her phone and is about to dial a number when
it suddenly RINGS. She gasps and reaches into her purse once
again, taking out her cellphone... She answers it.
RAMONA
(nervously)
He-hello?
MAN (V.O)
You don’t seem to be very good at
following the rules Ramona, were
only a few calls in and you have
already split up from your friends.
RAMONA
Leave us ALONE!

MAN (V.O)
No, no, no Ramona, it isn’t that
simple, I can’t ’let you go’ just
like that. I assume you know what
you have to do?
13.

RAMONA
I’m not playing your stupid
fucking, game asshole.
MAN (V.O)
Fine, I can come rip your fucking
guts out right now, for all I care,
I was just trying to be fair.
RAMONA
(crying)
No!
Wind blows swiftly through her hair, and the snow begins to
fall quicker then ever. She takes a few deep breaths, as she
waits for a reply.

MAN (V.O)
Fine, I will start off with an easy
one...Who was the killer in Stab 8?
RAMONA
(crying)
It was Jill! Jill Roberts, and
Charlie Walker!...
MAN (V.O)
Correct.

She sighs with relief, closing her eyes slightly, tears roll
down her cheeks as she turns quickly around, staring deeply
into the dark alley between the Video store and the movie
theater.

MAN (V.O)(CONT.D)
Now for the second question...
RAMONA
(crying)
NO!

She grouches down to the floor, pushing her hair behind her
ears.
RAMONA (CONT.D)
It isn’t fair! All you people seem
to do is ask question after
question until we finally get one
wrong. And then you come out and
kill us.
14.

MAN (V.O)
Answer the fucking question if you
want to ever see your friends alive
again!

RAMONA
(shaking)
What... do you mean?
MAN (V.O)
Answer the following question and
your friends live, answer the
question wrong they both DIE.
Understand?
RAMONA
NO! Please no... don’t do this...
please.
MAN (V.O)
Don’t let them down Ramona, they
seem so happy right now. Walking
peacefully through the park, don’t
make me disturb them.
RAMONA
(crying)
Well... what’s the question?

MAN (V.O)
Who is the killer in the film:
"Stab 10"?
RAMONA
What are you talking about? There
isn’t a Stab 10! Stab 9 was just
released!
MAN
(screaming)
INCORRECT!
The line goes dead. Ramona holds the phone in front of her
shaking from both the cold, and fear. She spins around and
stares into the Dark alley.

RAMONA
(crying, echoed)
HELLO!?... ANYONE?
Her eyes widen, as if she had suddenly realized something,
and she quickly spins back around, staring into the park.
15.

RAMONA
No... Not them...

EXT. WOODSBORO PARK - NIGHT

Emily and Eric slowly circle the fountain, looking for the
bottle, they still seem a bit tipsy. The snow begins to fall
down much quicker, as it blows through the wind.
ERIC
Dammit! Someone must have stolen
it.
EMILY
Well, maybe you just aren’t looking
hard enough.

ERIC
No. I am positive, I left it right
here.

He points to a spot on the fountain, sighing immensely. He

begins to shiver wrapping his arms around himself.
ERIC
It’s freezing out here.

Emily giggles, and crosses over to him, and wraps her arms
around his waist, alluringly. She smiles, looking up at him
in the dark.
EMILY
Maybe I could help you with that.

Suddenly her phone rings, she gasps, and pulls away from
Eric, she answers the phone, half heartily smiling.
EMILY (CONT.D)
Yes?

MAN (V.O)
I wouldn’t do that if I were you,
you know what the rules of
surviving are, don’t you?

EMILY
What If I said no? Would you leave
me alone?
MAN (V.O)
Probably not. I didn’t leave Ramona
alone.
16.

EMILY
What did you just say?
ERIC
Just hang up Emily. It is just a
prank.

MAN (V.O)
What are you two doing in the cold,
the night, the dark. Most people in
town are asleep. Someone could
attack you and no one would even
know till dawn.
EMILY
What if I called the police? We
aren’t ’in the middle of nowhere’.
They are only a few blocks away.
She turns to Eric, and smiles. She presses the receiver of
her phone up against her chest.
EMILY (CONT.D)
(whispering)
This should get him to leave us
alone...
She lifts the phone back up to her ear. And chuckles.

EMILY (CONT.D)
(teasing)
So we just called the police on
you. So if you don’t hang up. You
are going to JAIL.

MAN (V.O)
So you called the cops did you?
That’s not what I saw.
EMILY
(laughing)
And what did you see?
There is no answer for almost a minute.
EMILY (CONT.D)
HA! You didn’t even have the
courage to stay on the phone you
dip-shit!
Suddenly, they see RAMONA, she is running down the park
hill, screaming at them. They see tears streaming down her
eyes.
17.

Emily turns to Eric, seeming a bit confused, when

SUDDENLY...!

GHOSTFACE POPS OUT AT THEM, from behind a nearby bush. Emily

screams as Ghostface slashes the knife toward her neck. IT
digs deep into her neck, as she screams in pain.
Blood splatters in all directions, onto Ghost face’s mask,
and on the face of Eric. Who SCREAMS loudly... absolutely
horrified. Ramona shrieks, from far away on the hill.
Ghostface rips the knife out from her throat, and lets her
fall DEAD to the ground.
ERIC
(screaming, devastated)
EMILY!
Eric, (standing a few feet away) screams, standing still,
not able to move. Ghostface swings the knife toward his
heart, and JUST in time he ducks, and begins to run toward
Ramona.
Ghostface hurries behind him, and is much, much faster than
Eric. He quickly catches up with him and wraps his arm,
around his neck.

Eric struggles to break free. As Ramona watches, standing in

the middle of the hill, staring with her hands by the side
of her head. Shrieking in terror. She clearly doesn’t know
what to do.

Ghostface raises the knife high, and launches it down into

the center of Eric’s chest. HE screams in pain, as blood
gushes out of his wound. Ghostface lets go of his neck, and
lets him fall on his back, to the ground.
ERIC
(tears of pain)
Please...No...
Ghostface raises his knife high into the air, the wind
blowing the snow hard, around him. Eric screams loudly, as
Ghostface plunges the knife relentlessly into his stomach.

Ramona screams, she is completely frozen, not knowing what

to do.
He rips it out again, and plunges it down another time into
his stomach, as Eric, begs him to stop. He rips it out
again, blood pouring out of his wounds, and into the snow.
Ramona screams loudly. Staring at her two friends, lying
dead, and butchered.
18.

Her eyes suddenly widen, as she realizes he is coming after

her. And she suddenly spins around, and runs across the
street as fast as she can.

EXT. ROBBIE’S VIDEO STORE ENTRANCE - NIGHT

She crosses the sidewalk, tears streaming down her face. It
is now visible that the lights have been turned off. She
doesn’t seem to care, she tries to open the door.

It’s locked.
RAMONA
FUCK!
Ghostface charges across the street toward her. Slashing the
knife directly toward the center of her chest. She screams
loudly.
But she ducks just in the nick of time, causing Ghostface to
crash through the glass door. She gasps, and runs around
him. And into...

EXT. ALLEY - NIGHT

It is dark, and wet, presumably from melted snow. But she
doesn’t take notice. She runs across the alley, breathing
hard. Terrified.
RAMONA (CONT.D)
HELP! SOMEBODY HELP ME! PLEASE!
She turns her head around, staring down the alley. No one is
standing there. She sighs, feeling a bit better.
She exits the alleyway into...

EXT. BACK ALLEY - ROBBIE’S VIDEO SHOP - NIGHT

She slowly steps around the store, and stops in front of an
alley. She turns into it running as fast as she can, kicking
her way through the snow.

She reaches out to the back door, and turns the knob. It is
locked.
RAMONA (CONT.D)
SHIT! FUCK!
19.

She turns around, pressing her back up against the door,

breathing hard, tears continuing to stream down her cheeks.
When suddenly the door opens from behind her.
BEAT.

She gasps and spins around, and see’s---THE GHOST!

She screams as he plunges the knife into her shoulder before
she can move. She shrieks in pain and falls backward, into
the wet, and mucky snow.

Blood pours out of her wound. And her clothes begin to get
soaked from the half melted snow. Ghostface raises the knife
above his head, about to strike.
RAMONA (CONT.D)
NO!
He plunges the knife toward her stomach. But before he can,
she kicks him HARD in the stomach, sending him flying back,
and landing hard on the ground.

She stands up, holding her wound tightly, and runs forward
jumping over ghostface. He swishes his knife at her, and
slashes her ankle. She screams in pain but doesn’t fall.
Instead she turns around and stomps her right foot HARD
against his face.

He lets out a groan in pain. Her eyes widen, and she runs
across the store, and hides behind a shelf of VD’s. She
breaths hard, and nervously.
She slowly glances over it. Ghostface is GONE.

She sighs with slight relieve, and turns around, she

crouches down to the floor. and reaches into her pocket.
Tears streaming out of her eyes.
She takes out her cellphone, and dials "9-1-1" smearing
blood from her hands onto the phone’s screen and numbers.
She lifts the receiver up to her ear.
It rings three times before someone finally answers...
OPERATOR
911 what is your emergency?
RAMONA
(panicked)
Please! I need someone to hurry. I
am at Robbie’s video store, near
Woodsboro park. Please hurry, two

people have been murdered and he is
going to try and kill-
Ghostface runs up from behind her, seemingly from nowhere,
and slashes the knife down into the back of her shoulder.
She howls in pain, dropping the phone to the floor.
RAMONA (CONT.D)
NOO! PLEASE NO!

Ghostface rips the knife out from her back, splattering

blood on the DVD’s and floor of the store. She slowly begins
to crawl forward, but it is hopeless.
Ghostface turns her over onto her back, and lifts the knife
high above his head. She lets out gasps for air, but she
cant breathe.
Ghostface plunges the knife down into the center of her
chest. Her eyes widen in pain, as she tries to scream. He
pushes it down, digging it deeper and deeper into her.
Before he rips the knife from her chest.

She reaches out to the shelves as if to push herself up, but

all she does is smear blood on them, and knock a few off to
the hard, cold floor.
He plunges the knife once final time. This time directly
into the center of her heart. She is dead.
SMASH CUT TO BLACK.

"SCREAM 5"
FADE IN:

EXT. APARTMENT - MORNING

SOMETHING TO DIE FOR, BY: THE SOUNDS, begins to play at a
medium volume in the background.
It a medium sized, square red brick building, with a few
bushes planted surrounding it. Most of the snow has melted
since the night before, but there are still a few patches of
snow here and there.
21.

INT. APARTMENT - BEDROOM - MORNING

The bedroom is medium sized, and rectangular. It is slightly
messy, although not too messy.
We see two people lying in a large double bed. One of them
is KIRBY REED. She is young looking, no more than
twenty-six, she has let her long blond hair grow even longer
than it was in "Scream 5". She also looks more mature than
she was before.

She lies her head peacefully on the chest of JASON GRANTS, a

handsome and kind man around the age of twenty seven, he is
reasonably fit, has dark brown- almost black hair, and deep
blue eyes.
Suddenly the phone on the night table next to the bed rings,
waking Kirby, she sighs, and reaches over Jason, answering
the phone.
SOMETHING TO DIE FOR, slowly begins to fade out from here
on.

KIRBY
Hello?
MAN (V.O)
Hello Kirby.

KIRBY
(yawning)
Yes?
MAN (V.O)
(sinister)
What’s your favorite scary movie?
Kirby sighs, chuckling slightly.
KIRBY
Nice try asshole. Call here again
and I will call the police. Got it?
Goodbye.
She hangs up the phone, and leans back onto Jason’s chest,
kissing it softly. This wakes him. He smiles and sits up
slowly.

KIRBY
(smiling)
Good morning.
22.

JASON
Good morning. Who was that?
KIRBY
Another prank call... That’s the
third time this week.

JASON
It’s fine...we will just unplug the
phone.

He reaches out behind the nightstand and disconnects the

phone. He smiles and kisses Kirby’s neck passionately.
JASON (CONT.D)
Who needs contact with the outside
world when I have you anyway? We
can just stay here in bed forever
and ever.
KIRBY
(smiling)
Yeah, I wish, but it’s Erin’s
birthday today, you may get away
with missing a date with her any
other day of the year, but on her
birthday she means business...
(pausing)
Besides, Robbie is in the other
room.
JASON
Well that sucks... another time
then.

Kirby smiles when suddenly, he kisses her on the cheek,

stepping out of bed, and crossing the room. He is wearing a
pair of black sweatpants.
JASON (CONT.D)
I’m going to take a shower.
KIRBY
Kay.
He enters the bathroom, and shuts the door behind him. After
about thirty seconds the sound of running water begins.
Kirby smiles, and steps out of bed. She is wearing an over
sized purple t-shirt as a night-gown, over top of a pair of
white underwear.
23.

She crosses the room to a dresser, and changes into a pair

of black underwear, a pair of dark blue jeans, a white
T-shirt, and a leather jacket.

She smiles and crosses the bedroom, opening the door and
stepping into...

INT. LIVING ROOM - MORNING

The living room is only slightly larger than the bedroom,

although much neater. In the center of the room, is a couch
on which, ROBBIE MERCER lies, asleep.
He is much more mature looking, about the age of
twenty-five. He looks handsome, and has lost most of his
’geeky’ attributes, though not completely.
In front of the couch is a glass coffee table, with a few
Blu-ray’s lying in a stack. They are the following: "Black
Christmas", "The Shining" and "Misery".

Lying on the floor is a beer bottle, as well as a remote

control for a blu-ray player, and the TV, (that sits a few
feet in front of the coffee table).
Kirby smiles faintly, and crosses the room, and shakes
Robbie’s shoulder.
KIRBY
Robbie wake up.
Robbie groans, and opens his eyes halfway, but sits up,
yawning.
ROBBIE
Good morning Kirby.

KIRBY
Good morning Robbie.
ROBBIE
I suggest you call Ramona, Emily,
and Eric, they are probably pissed
you ditched them last night.
KIRBY
Excuse me, you ditched them too. We
are both to blame.

ROBBIE
(smiling)
Fine, they are probably pissed that
we ditched them.
24.

KIRBY
There you go.
(pauses)
Anyway, you better get dressed,
Erin want’s us to help set up for
her party.
ROBBIE
Ugh... fine.
He stands up out of the couch, and looks down at himself.

ROBBIE (CONT.D)
Oh shit, I forgot, I have no
clothes to change in to.
KIRBY
Ask Jason, he probably has some
spare clothes that should fit you.
he’s in the bathroom.
She points toward a door, in the corner of the room, next to
an arch that leads to the kitchen. He smiles, and crosses
the room, opening the door, and stepping inside.
His eyes widen when he see’s Jame’s is in the shower, but he
takes a deep breath trying his best to calm down.
JASON
Who is that?
ROBBIE
It’s me Robbie. Kirby says you
might have clothes I could borrow,
since I don’t have any.
JASON
Sure, I’ll find something for you.
He reaches out of the shower, and takes a white towel from a
shelf, and pulls it inside. After around fifty seconds, he
pushes the shower curtain open, and merges from the shower,
with the towel wrapped around his waist.
Robbie gulps nervously, and forces a smile.

Jason smiles back at him, and crosses the bathroom, opening

the door, and entering the bedroom. Robbie slowly enters
after him...
25.

INT. APARTMENT - BEDROOM - MORNING

Jason crosses the room, while Robbie remains standing on ,
and opens the top drawer of the dresser, he pulls out a pair
of black boxers, black jeans, and a long sleeved black
t-shirt.

He tosses them across the room toward Robbie, who attempts

to catch them but fails, letting them fall to the floor.
Robbie picks them up and carries them into the bathroom
closing the door behind him.
CUT TO:

INT. APARTMENT - LIVING ROOM - MORNING

Kirby sits down on the couch sighing slightly, and is about

to turn on the TV when...
There is a sudden knocking at the door, before suddenly a
woman steps into view through the window.

It is ERIN GILDAY, she is a beautiful young woman, about the

age of twenty five. She has long dark brown hair, and a
pretty face. She wears a small, black and white striped tank
top, a gray skirt. As well as a pear of black boots, that
climb to her knees.

ERIN
(slightly annoyed)
Hey bitch! Were going to be late!
KIRBY
Oh shit! I totally forgot.
ERIN
I can see that. Now are you going
to let me in or what?

KIRBY
Right...
Kirby reaches out to the door, and opens it. Erin steps
inside, smiling and pushing her hair behind her ears.

ERIN
Finally, I was freezing my ass off
out there.
26.

KIRBY
(laughing)
Well maybe if you wore some winter
clothes you wouldn’t be.

ERIN
I don’t believe in that shit. When
all of the other women are wearing
ugly ass coats, and hats, and I
look like this. Who do you think a
man will choose?

KIRBY
(laughing)
I don’t know. I’m dating someone
remember? I can be myself.

ERIN
Yeah, well that is you. I would
rather be killed then be seen
without makeup...
KIRBY
(laughing)
Oh and I almost forgot. Happy
birthday.
ERIN
(smiling)
I thought you would never say.
Thank you.
Suddenly, the bedroom door opens, and Jason steps out,
buttoning up a black dress shirt halfway.

Erin’s eyes meet him, and her lips curve into a sly smile,
as she slowly steps toward him.
ERIN
Hello handsome. I suppose you are
the reason Kirby bailed on us last
night, can’t say I blame her.
Erin reaches up and caresses his right arm softly, Jason
chuckles, slightly sarcastically, and pushes her hand off of
him, stepping over to Kirby, who is smiling slightly,
clearly amused.
JASON
You’ve met me like ten times, you
already know what I look like.
27.

ERIN
I suppose so...

JASON
(smiling faintly)
Happy birthday Erin.
She smiles, with eyes filled with accomplishment, and turns
toward a door, when suddenly...

The bathroom door opens, and Robbie steps out, still

appearing a bit uncomfortable, but seems to have calmed down
a bit.
ERIN
Hello Robbie, I hope you are ready
for a day of setting up for a
party.
ROBBIE
Not really...

ERIN
(waits a few seconds)
Aren’t you going to say something?
Wish me a happy something?

ROBBIE
(smiling)
Happy birthday Erin.
ERIN
Thank you.
Kirby then suddenly, reaches down to the coffee table and
picks up the TV remote. She turns the TV on.
ERIN
What the fuck Kirby? We are
supposed to be leaving this second.
KIRBY
Shh. I just want to check the news
for one second.

ERIN
Fine.
Kirby un-mutes the TV. It is on a local news station.

NEWS REPORTER
This just in, three people have
been brutally murdered. here in the
town of Woodsboro.
28.

Kirby’s eyes widen in surprise.

NEWS REPORTER (CONT.D)
Two of the bodies were found in
Woodsboro Park, hung high in the
trees... completely gutted. And the
third. was found in "Robbie’s Video
Store" Hung from the ceiling, with
the words: "What’s Your Favorite
Scary Movie" written underneath, in
blood. The Police have not released
any further information, other than
the victims names.
(pauses)
Ramona Harolds, Emily Josephine,
and Eric Piercing. We send out
prayers to the families of these
poor victims.
Kirby shuts the TV off instantly, dropping the remote to the
floor helplessly. Jason crosses the room, sitting next to
Kirby on the couch, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

JASON
Kirby... are you okay?
Kirby doesn’t answer, instead she turns to Jason, and cries
into his shoulder softly. Erin stands up straight, trying
not to show her sadness, but her true emotions are clear.
Robbie sits down in an arm chair, with a saddened, and
terrified expression.
ERIN
Kirby.. I can cancel the party, we
can all just stay her with you, or-

KIRBY
(cutting Erin off)
No way. You have been preparing
this for weeks. The party continues
as planned.
Erin smiles faintly. Kirby stands up taking a deep breath.
KIRBY (CONT.D)
I think it’s time to go see
Dewey...
CUT TO:
29.

EXT. POLICE STATION: MORNING

The station is overflowed with policemen, news vans, and
reporters who stand as close to the police tape as they
possibly can.

Suddenly, a reporter shoves her way through the crowd. She

is PAVARTI SIMMONS, a sweet and innocent looking woman
around the age of twenty-five. She has long wavy blond hair,
and blue eyes.

PAVARTI
Get the fuck out of my way!
She pushes herself out of the crowd finally, and slowly
begins to cross the street. She reaches into her black purse
and takes out a tape recorder, and pressed the "record"
button.
PAVARTI (CONT.D)
I stand here, staring at the police
station, watching as the hundreds
of reporters try to fight their way
to a story. But I’m not that
arrogant, I know no further
information will come from the
police, at least for now.
(pauses)
All I know for sure, is that three
teens are dead, and underneath one
of their hanging corpses were the
words "What’s Your Favorite Scary
Movie" written in blood. Everything
as of now points to the possible
conclusion of these horrific yet
exciting events. Only time will
tell.
She presses: "STOP" with her thumb, smiling and hurries
away.

POLICE STATION: INTERROGATION ROOM - MORNING

Kirby, Erin, Robbie, and Jason all sit on the opposite side
of the table in utter silence, possibly wondering what was
to come next. Before the silenced is broken by Erin.
ERIN
(sarcastically)
I never expected to spend my twenty
fifth birthday in a police station.
What a fabulous turn of events.
30.

Jason glares at her.

JASON
Seriously Erin, do you have to be a
bitch all the time? It gets
restless at after a while.
ERIN
Sorry Jason, being a bitch is
simply part of my being attractive.
I have to live up to my image. Just
like you should be doing with your
black almost Gothic but not really
look. Its unbalanced.

JASON
You aren’t making any sense.
ERIN
Alright, well then- understand
this.

She flips him off smiling sarcastically, and tilting her

head. Robbie (who is sitting in between Erin and Jason)
chuckles slightly, looking down at his hands in his lap,
trying not to get in their ’way’.

Erin turns to Robbie and smiles, like she can tell his exact
thoughts.
ERIN (CONT.D)
Tell me Robbie, do you like my "be
myself even if it hurts peoples
feelings" attitude, or Jason’:
"Kiss everyone’s ass until everyone
is in love with me" act. Because
honestly, I think you would be the
fairest judge.

ROBBIE
I...
JASON
See what you do? You spend more
time playing with people as if they
are toys rather than actually
trying to make friends.
ERIN
Fuck you-

Suddenly, DEWEY RILEY, steps into the room, taking off his
police hat.
31.

DEWEY
I’m sorry for keeping you guys so
long.

ERIN
It’s no problem Detective, we were
just having a nice little chat.
Jason rolls his eyes.

DEWEY
Well don’t worry, I won’t keep you
long, we just need to ask you a few
questions.

KIRBY
Sure Dewey, anything you need.
DEWEY
So did Ramona, Emily or Eric
complain to you about any
strangeness, and did they have
anyone new in their lives?
KIRBY
Nope, not really, not specifically
to them though, we were all getting
prank phone calls from what we
thought was a prank. But now, I’m
not so sure...
DEWEY
You were called by the KILLER? Why
didn’t you tell me?
KIRBY
I don’t know, I guess I didn’t
think it was worth it, I thought it
was only a prank and contacting the
police would just give the
prankster the satisfaction.
DEWEY
Oh...

ROBBIE
I can’t believe this happened in my
store...
DEWEY
Speaking of which, we come to the
next question. Who was the last
person to work there last night?
32.

ROBBIE
David Arnatz. He works from 3pm, to
about midnight.
DEWEY
Were going to need his number, he
needs to be questioned.
CUT TO:

EXT. ROBBIE’S VIDEO STORE/WOODSBORO PARK: MORNING

A news van pulls to the side of the road, in front of a long
strip of police tape, coming to a quick and direct stop.
Instantly out from the driver’s seat, steps GALE WEATHERS.

She slams the door shut, and quickly crosses the street
toward Robbie’s video store which is overflowing with police
officers.
About six reporters stand as close to the police tape as
they possibly can, begging officer after officer for some
piece of information.
Gale is about to step under the tape, when suddenly a hand
reaches out from behind her.
It is JUDY HICKS, she looks tired, and worried.

JUDY
Gale!
GALE
Judy...
JUDY
You know you cant pass the police
tape, even if I know you, it is
still the law.

GALE
It’s not like I would be filming...
I don’t even have a camera man...
JUDY
Yeah, that is because they all are
afraid of being sliced to pieces...
Sorry Gale, but no one is passing
this point.
33.

GALE
Fine!
Gale turns around and storms away, as Judy turns away,
hurrying back toward the video store. Gale turns back to
her, glaring, before turning all the way around and bumping
directly into...!
Pavarti Simmons.
GALE
Shit!
Pavarti widens her eyes, and reaches out to gale resting her
hand on her shoulder.
PAVARTI
Oh...MY...GOD! GALE WEATHERS!?
GALE
(smiling faintly)
In the flesh... who are you?

Pavarti stands up straight, and reaches out her hand to be

shaken.
PAVARTI
Pavarti Simmons. I’m a reporter
like you, well... not nearly as
brilliant as you.
GALE
Thank you I guess...
PAVARTI
You were my hero as a kid, and
still are. I’ve dressed up as you
every Halloween since I was ten.
GALE
That’s disturbing.
Gale slowly pushes Pavarti’s hand away, and begins walking
toward her news van.
PAVARTI
So.. Did you find out anything we
don’t know already? Because I could
really use a good story.
GALE
If I did know anything, I certainly
wouldn’t tell you, now would I? So
(MORE)
34.

GALE (cont’d)
I’m guessing this whole
conversation of kissing my ass was
completely pointless.

PAVARTI
Wait, You think I was doing this
for a story? No way!
GALE
Then what do you want?

PAVARTI
Well... maybe we could work
together. You know? Two people,
intertwining their passions for
journalism. We could possibly even
catch the killer- you said that, in
Stab 8.
GALE
That wasn’t exactly how it was
worded.

PAVARTI
Well... what do you think? It could
work.
GALE
I think you are mentally
incompetent. Goodbye Pavarti.
Gale steps into the news van and slams the door shut behind
her, and is about to drive away when Pavarti knocks quickly
on the car window. Gale groans and rolls down the car
window.
GALE (CONT.D)
What do you want?

PAVARTI
You know, you are almost fifty
years old, its about time you get
replaced by your 2.0, Sidney has
one, Dewey has one, and even Randy
has one and he is dead. Why don’t
you embrace it? Pass the torch to
someone as ruthless and inspired as
you once were.
(chuckling)
I mean, are you going to be chasing
after stories into your seventies?
I’d pay to see you run away from
(MORE)
35.

PAVARTI (cont’d)
Ghostface with a stroller... Think
about it Gale. Goodbye.

Pavarti chuckles and quickly hurries away. Gale stares at

her with an angry glare, before quickly starting the car,
banging her head backwards against the car seat.
GALE
FUCK!
Gale then quickly drives away.
CUT TO:

INT. POLICE STATION:: INTERROGATION ROOM-AFTERNOON

Kirby is resting her head quietly on the table. Erin softly
strokes her back trying to make her feel better to the best
of her ability.

ERIN
Everything will bee okay sweetie.
Don’t worry, were here to stay.
ROBBIE
Of course we are, we will make it
through this, just like last time.
Suddenly Dewey enters the room, making them all jump. He
sighs and closes the door tightly behind himself.

DEWEY
Sorry.
KIRBY
It’s fine Dewey... did you find
Sidney?
DEWEY
I called her house phone, and work
phone, but got a machine on both, I
told her to come to the station as
soon as she can.
KIRBY
I hope she does... What about
David?

DEWEY
We have taken him in for
questioning. He apparently left
before anything happened
36.

KIRBY
Oh...
ERIN
Are we done here? Because I have a
part to attend.

DEWEY
Excuse me? Three of your friends
are dead, and you are going to
continue with the party?

ERIN
That’s the plan. Come on Kirby,
were going.
KIRBY
Okay...
Robbie, Jason, Erin, and Kirby stand up, and cross the room.
Kirby stops in front of Dewey and tilts her head softly.
KIRBY (CONT.D)
Don’t worry about me, this party is
a good idea... I don’t want these
killings to take over my life. I’m
not going to let them. I just cant.
DEWEY
Okay Kirby, but its okay to take a
few steps back when this sort of
thing happens, you don’t have to
keep moving at full speed.
KIRBY
But I want to, okay? I’m not going
to seclude myself in some safe
house so I am not attacked. I
simply wont do it. Goodbye Dewey,
come-on guys.

Erin and Jason quickly follow her while Robbie stays behind.
He folds his arms and stands in front of Dewey.
ROBBIE
I’m sorry about her. I know you are
just trying to help.
DEWEY
It’s okay. I know what she is going
through, I’ve seen it happen to
Sidney.
37.

ROBBIE
(uncomfortable)
Well... okay. Nice seeing you
Dewey.

DEWEY
Nice seeing you too.
Robbie folds his hands behind his back, and nods his head
shortly. They both stand there in the silence for a few
seconds, both clearly uncomfortable in the silence.

Before finally, Robbie nods his head once again and exits
the room.
CUT TO:

INT. POLICE STATION: HALL

Kirby, Erin, and Jason quickly walk down the hall, not
speaking much. After a few seconds Robbie quickly catches up
with them.

They eventually stop in front of a door, and stare through

the window. David sits at the table with his hands folded
neatly in front of him.
A police officer stands in front of him, asking him
questions.
Erin turns around, and sighs, leaning up against the wall
next to the door.
ERIN
So do you think David is the
killer? I mean, he had a huge crush
on Ramona, and she repeatedly
turned him down. And he could
easily write "What’s Your Favorite
Scary Movie" under her body just to
throw the police off track.
Robbie turns away from the window, ans shakes his head.
ROBBIE
I doubt it. What was his motive for
killing Emily and Eric? If I were
killing someone, simply because
they wouldn’t go out with me, I
would rather not kill any more
people then I would have to.
38.

ERIN
Well if it was me I say fuck it. I
would most likely get caught
anyway, so might as well do it
dramatically. I would rather be
known as a psychopathic serial
killer than some wimpy bitch that
killed a guy that wouldn’t go out
with me.
Erin, Robbie, Kirby, and Jason all slowly walk out of the
police station and out the back door to...

EXT. POLICE STATION: BACK ALLEY-AFTERNOON

They slowly walk down the alleyway, toward a large black
car. There are no reporters in sight.
ROBBIE
But this isn’t Dexter we’re talking
about, remember? You Asked if David
killed Ramona simply because she
wouldn’t go out with him. He
wouldn’t be killing because he has
to, or for fame. It is plain and
simple revenge.
ERIN
How do you know he isn’t like
Dexter, He certainly is creepy
enough. I wouldn’t be surprised if
he had a box of blood slides behind
his air conditioner.

ROBBIE
Oh, shut up. I know him better than
all of you, and I can guarantee you
all. He is no killer.

ERIN
Don’t you tell me to shut up. I’ll
have you know, I guessed the
killers in every one of the Stab
films.

ROBBIE
Yeah, probably because 5 out of 9
of them are based on true stories.
And the other four’s writing is so
horrible the killers are obvious.
39.

ERIN
Fuck you.
KIRBY
(annoyed)
Both of you shut up! I don’t want
to talk about this. I just want to
get drunk, make out with Jason, and
party. I’ve had all the drama I
cans stand as of now.

Kirby unlocks the car door, and jumps inside, with a deep
sigh. Erin gets into the passenger seat next to her, and
Jason and Robbie, open the back seat’s door, and enter,
slamming the door behind them.
Kirby starts the car, and drives away.

CUT TO:

EXT. WOODSBORO UNIVERSITY

The university is big and elegant. Looking to be the same as

it did in "Scream 5".
DISSOLVE TO:

INT. WOODSBORO UNIVERSITY: SIDNEY’S OFFICE-AFTERNOON

The office is medium and clean looking. Very neat, and
beautiful. Suddenly, through a door, enters SIDNEY PRESCOTT,
beautiful, and young looking, with a large smile on her
face.

She crosses the room, and drops the papers she has in her
arms, onto her desk, and picks up a bunch of keys, grasping
them tightly in her fist.

She turns around, and is about to leave, when suddenly the

phone rings.
She sighs and crosses the room, answering it.
SIDNEY
Hello?
MAN (V.O)
Hello Sidney...
40.

SIDNEY
Yes?
MAN (V.O)
You really thought it was
over...didn’t you?

SIDNEY
Excuse me?
MAN (V.O)
You thought you would be done with
this for life. But you are wrong
Sidney, you are and will always be
a survivor. The helpless victim.
And there is nothing you can do
about it.
(pause)
You think Kirby is the new you?
Your 2.0 well you are in for a wake
up call. You and only you are the
heroine of this series, and that is
the way it will be until I slash
your thought with my FUCKING knife.
UNDERSTAND?
SIDNEY
Go to hell. Goodbye.

She hangs up without any further reaction. That is when she

see’s it. The message machine.
She quickly reaches out to the phone and presses: "PLAY"
DEWEY (V.O)
Hey...Sidney.. I don’t know how to
say this, since I was hoping to get
you and not the machine. And I’m
not sure if you have heart yet, or
what, but... I suppose I will just
say it.
(pauses)
Three teens were killed last night.
Ramona Harolds, Eric Piercing, and
Emily Josephine. The words, "What’s
your favorite scary movie" were
found written in Ramona’s blood,
under her...body. We aren’t sure if
the killings are starting again,
but it is definitely a
possibility... So I think it would
be best if you could come to the
office, and we can ask you a few
(MORE)
41.

DEWEY (V.O) (cont’d)

questions...so yeah.. Bye Sid. I’m
really sorry you had to hear like
this. Bye.

The message ends, and Sidney sits slowly down onto a brown
leather couch by a large window.
Her eyes, almost empty with fear and sadness, at the
horrible news, she leans her head forward into her hands,
trying her best not to cry, when suddenly...

The phone RINGS.

She stands up quickly, and crosses the room, staring down at
the caller id. It reads: "UNKNOWN NAME, UNKNOWN NUMBER"

She reaches down and unplugs the phone wire with haste, and
storms out of her office.

INT. WOODSBORO UNIVERSITY: HALL-AFTERNOON

She quickly walks down the hall, holding her hand by the
side of her head, trying her very best not to cry.
The hall is long and majestic, with shiny wooden floors, and
high ceilings.

Suddenly, Sidney bumps directly into a man, knocking all of

his books to the floor.
The man is Dameon Jones. A kind and charming looking man,
around the age of forty-seven.

They both crouch down to the floor, and begin to pick up the
books.
He looks up at Sidney, and smiles.

DAMEON
Sidney!?
She looks up at him, and wrinkles her forehead in slight
confusion.

SIDNEY
Do I know you?
DAMEON
My name is Dameon, Dameon Jones.
I’m Jill...... I am
Jill’s...father.
42.

SIDNEY
(slightly surprised)
Um...oh Hi. I don’t think we’ve
met.

They both stand up, and Sidney hands the books she picked up
to him.
DAMEON
No... We haven’t.

SIDNEY
What are you doing? What are you
doing in Woodsboro, on top of that,
why here, in Woodsboro University?
Dameon looks down at his feet, and takes a deep breath.

DAMEON
(slightly quiet)
I just need... closure... you know?
I need to see this place. Where it
all happened, you know?

Sidney slowly nods her head, pushing her hair behind her
ears, swallowing deeply.
SIDNEY
Yeah... I get that... But you
picked probably the worst time to
come...
Damon tilts his head, seeming slightly confused.

DAMEON
Wait, what do you mean?
SIDNEY
The killings... They may be
starting again...

DAMEON
What!?
SIDNEY
Three people were killed... last
night.
DAMEON
Oh shit...
43.

SIDNEY
I know... I am going to the police
station right now. So I apologize,
but I really should get going.

DAMEON
Of course.
SIDNEY
It’s nice seeing you, even under
the circumstances.

Sidney looks away slightly, clearly realizing the

similarities of the conversation she had with Jill. But she
shakes it off, and smiles up at Dameon.
DAMEON
You too. We should go get a cup of
coffee sometime. Talk over
everything.
SIDNEY
Sure. Well, bye.

Sidney shakes hands with Dameon, and walks away.

CUT TO:

EXT. PAVARTI’S HOUSE: AFTERNOON

Pavarti drives her car quickly into a driveway next to a
medium sized gray brick home, with a white picket fence
surrounding the front yard.

She stops the car, and steps out of it, slamming the door
behind herself, and quickly enters the yard, and crosses it,
stepping up the porch stairs, and across it to the front
door.

She unlocks it, and opens it, entering the house.

CUT TO:

INT. PAVARTI’S HOUSE: LIVING ROOM

The room is large and beautiful, with nice wooden floors,

light tan walls, and a beautiful array of furniture.
Clearly, Pavarti is quite wealthy.
44.

She crosses the room, and collapses onto a large black

couch. Before leaning forward to the coffee table, and
picking up her laptop, setting it on her lap, and opening
it, sighing pleasantly.

EXT. BRITNEY’S HOUSE: FRONT DRIVEWAY-AFTERNOON

Kirby pulls the car into the driveway, and parks.
KIRBY
Erin, could you go get Britney?
ERIN
Why can’t Jason? I need to save my
strength for my party tonight, I’ll
have to be standing for hours.

Kirby sighs, and turns back to Jason.

KIRBY
Jason, could you?

JASON
(annoyed)
Fine...
He turns around, and opens the side door, and steps out of
the car.

JASON (CONT.D)
(under breath)
Bitch...
He crosses the yard to the front door of the house, and is
about to knock on it, when suddenly it swings open, and
stepping outside is BRITNEY TOMBS, young, beautiful,
brunette, and kind looking.
She is wearing a pair of black jeans, a Metalica T-shirt,
that is ripped slightly up the sides, a black leather
jacket, and a gray hat.
She jumps back startled by Jason.
BRITNEY
Oh hey Jason, I didn’t expect you
to be here... I was about to go
help set up.
JASON
Well Erin figured since you are on
the way, we might as well go pick

JASON (cont’d)
you up and make sure you don’t blow
her off.
BRITNEY
Ugh, Why is she even helping? It’s
her party, aren’t we supposed to
surprise her or something?
JASON
Not on her watch, but we might as
well please her, or she will be
using this against us all year.
BRITNEY
I guess you are right...

Britney steps out of the house, and closes the door behind
herself.
Jason and Britney quickly cross the yard, and enter the car
without hesitation.

ERIN
Hello Britney.
BRITNEY
Hello Erin, Happy Birthday.

ERIN
Thank you, and I didn’t even have
to remind you.
CUT TO:

INT. PAVARTI’S HOUSE: LIVING ROOM

Pavarti continues to type ferociously into her laptop, when
suddenly...!

The phone RINGS.

She smiles, and places the laptop onto the coffee table,
standing up and crossing the living room into...

INT. PAVARTI’S HOUSE: KITCHEN

She crosses the room to the counter, picking up the phone,
and answering it.
46.

PAVARTI
Hello.
MAN (V.O)
Hello Pavarti.

PAVARTI
Um, hello- mysterious sounding man.
How can I help you?
MAN (V.O)
What are you writing?
PAVARTI
Excuse me?
MAN (V.O)
What are you writing?
PAVARTI
Who said I was writing?
MAN (V.O)
I did. Besides I heard you are
writing a novel on the recent
murderers. Gale wont be pleased.
PAVARTI
Come on she had it coming to her,
she cant stride around as if she is
the same hot reporter she was 10
years ago, every woman has their
breaking point. And this just
happens to be her’s.

MAN (V.O)
SO what makes you think you have
what it takes to replace Gale? The
fact that there was no 2.0 Gale in
Stab 8 proves she Isn’t one easy to
replace.
PAVARTI
And Sidney is possible to replace?
Come on, everyone can be topped, if
there were people that could never
be topped, then there would be no
point in trying, and we would never
be able to pass a certain point of
our skill. I don’t believe there is
anyone you cant surpass in this
world. I mean look at you, what the
point of playing ghostface if you
(MORE)
47.

PAVARTI (cont’d)
are going to be remembered as the
lesser version of Billy Loomis?
MAN (V.O)
Maybe I don’t want to be known as a
killer.
PAVARTI
Sure you don’t. Jill didn’t either,
but in the end of the day, she
would had rather go down in history
as a legendary than some bitch who
got caught.
MAN (V.O)
Maybe it isn’t about fame entirely.
What about revenge?
PAVARTI
Well that would be interesting, but
with the killer’s of this
generations killers, revenge seems
to be the dead motive. People go to
therapy now, they get over their
shitty lives and their shitty jobs.
People just aren’t as crazy as they
used to be. Sucks for Stab fans
though.
(tilting her head)
Four spoiled bitches seems like bad
writing, when it is simply teens
desensitized to violence, making
killing seem like the appropriate
method to earn fame.
MAN (V.O)
If you were the killer, what would
your motive be?

PAVARTI
Well thinking psychotically,to kill
Sidney. I mean shit, Annie had it
backwards, Sidney has all of the
blood on her hands, might as well
kill her to save the souls of more
over sexed teenagers from the
brutality of the knife.
MAN (V.O)
Really?
48.

PAVARTI
What’s your motive? I told you mine
now tell me yours, that’s how it
works with ’names’ right? Shouldn’t
the same rules apply with motives?

MAN (V.O)
Pavarti, this discussion is all fun
and games, but honestly, have you
not noticed some eerie presence in
the distance where I stand, hidden?
Stab fans are bound to get bored if
we don’t move on.
PAVARTI
(sarcastically)
Ha, Ha, very clever. This has
really been fun, whoever the fuck
you are, but honestly I have more
important things to do. Goodbye.
MAN (V.O)
If you hang up on me I will stab
you so many times your pretty
little face is barely recognizable!
PAVARTI
(shocked)
...Fuck you.

MAN (V.O)
Curse at me all you want, it wont
keep me from fucking slaughtering
you.

PAVARTI
So, what? Are you going to ask me
fucking MOVIE trivia? You can’t be
serious.

MAN (V.O)
Who were the killers in the
original Woodsboro massacre?
PAVARTI
Come on, that’s easy, Billy Loomis,
and Stu Macher.
MAN (V.O)
Very good... Now for the real
question.
49.

PAVARTI
Fine.
MAN (V.O)
Who was the first victim, killed by
Billy and Stu.

PAVARTI
That’s easy. Steven Orth.
MAN (V.O)
I’m sorry, but that is the
wrong...answer.
PAVARTI
No it’s not. Heather Graham may
have died first in the movie, but
in the actual murders, Steven Orth
was killed. Poor kid didn’t even
get a role in Stab.
MAN (V.O)
I’m sorry but you are still
incorrect. The first victim killed
by Billy and Stu, was Maureen
Prescott, Sidney’s MOTHER. Stephen
Orth wasn’t killed until a year
later. I’m sorry, but that is a
WRONG answer.

Pavarti’s eyes widen, and she sits down in complete and

utter shock.
PAVARTI
You fucking cheated. I thought this
was supposed to be MOVIE trivia,
not trivia on actual murders.
MAN (V.O)
I’m sorry Pavarti, but now. You
LOSE.
PAVARTI
FUCK NO! You are supposed to give
me another chance or whatever,
aren’t you? Please.

MAN (V.O)
I can give you as many chances as
you want, but your forgetting one
fucking thing. Billy and Stu never
cared if you got the answer right
or wrong, you get it right you die,
(MORE)
50.

MAN (V.O) (cont’d)

you get it wrong you die, it is
that fucking simple understand!?
Pavarti hangs up, slamming the phone onto the coffee table.
She sits on the couch staring at the phone for a bit, before
finally she reaches back down to it, and lifts the phone
dialing "9-1-1".
She slowly steps forward, listening to it ring, over and
over, until finally someone answers.

OPERATOR (V.O)
911, what is your emergency?
PAVARTI
(frantically)
Please help, someone just called my
house, and was threatening to kill
me, and I’m scared he could be
somewhere close.
OPERATOR (V.O)
Please ma’am calm down, do you see
this person anywhere?
PAVARTI
No, I’m just really scared.

OPERATOR (V.O)
Okay, I need to to lock yourself in
a small room, make sure this person
is nowhere to be seen, and we will
get there as soon as we can.

PAVARTI
Thank you.
Pavarti quickly crosses the living room, holding the phone
by her side, stopping in front of a closet door.

PAVARTI (CONT.D)
Hello? Is someone there?
There is no answer. So she slowly reaches out to the door,
and wraps her hand around the cold brass doorknob, slowly
turning it to the left, and pulling the door open.
Instantly from inside the closet, charges the GHOST,
flashing the blade swinging it directly toward her neck. She
screams and dodges it, running down the hall screaming, her
hair blowing quickly behind her.
51.

PAVARTI (CONT.D)
FUCK! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!
FUCK YOU!

She continues down the hall and runs into...

INT. PAVARTI’S HOUSE: BEDROOM

Pavarti slams the door shut, and locks it.

PAVARTI (CONT.D)
SHIT!
Instantly Ghostface pounds his shoulder against the door,
trying his best to break it down.
PAVARTI (CONT.D)
SOMEONE! PLEASE HELP ME!
She lifts the phone to her ear.

PAVARTI (CONT.D)
Hello! Please hurry he is attacking
me, I’m locked in the bedroom, and
he’s going to break down the door.

Dial tone is all the is heard.

PAVARTI (CONT.D)
FUCK!
She throws the phone down onto the ground, and spins around,
hurrying to one window.
She attempts to open it but it is locked.
Ghostface continues to pound at the bedroom door, Pavarti
swears she can hear a cracking sound from the door, as if he
is actually breaking the door.
She reaches up to the window and unlocks the window, and
pushes it open, stepping out quickly, onto...

EXT. PAVARTI’S HOUSE: ROOF

She steps out onto the roof, and slams the door shut.
PAVARTI (CONT.D)
SOMEBODY! PLEASE HELP!
Nobody seems to be in sight, in the neighborhood. Most if
not everyone must be out.
52.

She looks off of the roof, it is only one floor high. Maybe
she could jump?
Suddenly, a chair is SMASHED through the window she just
escaped through. She screams and turns around staring, as
Ghostface smashes all of the glass with the chair, and
begins to step out onto the roof.
She looks down at the ground, and it is clear, the fall
doesn’t seem as far anymore. She takes one leap and screams
as she falls down to...

EXT. PAVARTI’S HOUSE: FRONT YARD

She lands in the bushes, with a shriek of pain. But she
instantly stands up, and crawls into the center of the front
yard.
PAVARTI
HELP!
She shrieks loudly, staring down the road. She can see down
the road, the police cars, racing toward her in the
distance.
She turns her head around and stares up at the room. he
window is empty. Ghostface is nowhere to be seen.

She looks down at the front door of her house. The door is
wide open. Here eyes widen in surprise.
But it is too late, from behind her the ghost PLUNGES the
knife down into the center of her back, causing it to let
out a loud sickening CRACK.

She attempts to shriek but no sound comes out, as she falls

down onto the soft grass, blood pouring out of her wound,
forming a puddle around her body.
All she can stare into the mask with her cold empty eyes, as
she slowly dies on the ground. Until finally ghostface
plunges the knife down with one final blow, directly in the
center of her heart. Killing her.
Ghostface rips the knife from her chest, wiping the blood
off of the knife, and rushing away at top speed.
CUT TO:
53.

EXT. COMMUNITY CENTER: PARKING LOT/ENTRANCE-NIGHT

Kirby drives the car into the parking lot at top speed,
parking the car as close to the entrance as possible.
BRITNEY
How the hell are you even affording
this place?
ERIN
I’m not, my dad rented the whole
place for tonight only. So this
better be worth it.
JASON
The WHOLE building?

ERIN
You heard me.
KIRBY
That must have been expensive.

ERIN
What can I say? I’m a spoiled
bitch, not my problem.
Suddenly, out from behind a pillar, steps ALEX OATES. Dark,
handsome, slightly geeky, brown hair.

ALEX
Hey.
ERIN
Shit, you made it here first.

ALEX
I’ve been waiting here for at least
half an hour.

ERIN
Well I apologize, but we got stuck
in the interrogation room with
Sheriff Dewey Riley. It was
incredibly intense. And kinda
turned me on.

ALEX
Wow.
Alex crosses to Robbie kissing him on the cheek softly, and
grabbing his hand.
54.

ROBBIE
They are questioning David, he
might be the killer.
ALEX
I doubt it, he doesn’t seem to be
the killer type.
KIRBY
(slightly irritated)
Are we seriously going to do this
again?
ALEX
Do what?
ERIN
She doesn’t to discuss the possible
murderer. She finds it incredibly
stressful, not to mention
repetitive and clichéd.
JASON
Why don’t you stop trying to be
such a bitch all the time, it is
painfully obvious you are simply
trying to hide the fact that you
are just as scared as we are.

ERIN
(laughing)
Shut up..
They all enter the building.

CUT TO:

EXT. POLICE STATION: AFTERNOON

Sidney drives her car into the parking lot, past the many of
reporters. And instantly parks, and gets out of the car.
She hurries across the parking lot, as reporters swarm
around her, asking her questions, sticking microphones in
her face, and taking pictures.

REPORTER 1#
How does it feel to know the
murders have once again started for
a 6th time?
55.

REPORTER 2#
Has the killer called you?
REPORTER 3#
Do you think you are the central
target, or Kirby?

REPORTER 4#
Our sources say Dameon Jones, the
father of Jill Roberts, has
returned to Woodsboro, around the
time when the murders began, is
this true?
REPORTER 2#
Please, the people have the right
to know.

REPORTER 1#
Just one question.
Sidney pushes her ways through the crowd, and enters the
police station without speaking a word.

INT. POLICE STATION: HALL

Sidney instantly see’s Dewey, talking to Gale. She crosses
the room.

SIDNEY
Hello Dewey, hello Gale. Nice to
see you.
DEWEY
(happy to see her)
Sid!
Dewey hugs her pleasantly.
SIDNEY
So tell me everything. Are there
any suspects?
GALE
Yes Dewey, tell her everything you
know.
DEWEY
Alright Fine, but this is off the
record Gale. Understand?
56.

GALE
(annoyed)
Fine.
DEWEY
On the night of the murder, Ramona,
Emily, and Eric were apparently
supposed to go see "Stab 9" with
Kirby, and Robbie, and some other
friends. But Kirby called, and said
she couldn’t.

GALE
So what? Are you saying Kirby is a
suspect?
DEWEY
No... Let me finish. After that,
the three went to Robbie’s video
store, and rented a DVD. David was
working the shift when they rented
it, but disappeared during the time
of all three of their deaths.

GALE
Coincidence?
DEWEY
Let me finish. The surveillance
tapes were removed during the
murder as well, where Ramona was
attacked, and killed. Only he and
Robbie have access to the
surveillance camera’s.

GALE
So? That means Robbie could be the
killer.
Sidney glares at Gale, clearly she doesn’t like the
possibility of that.
GALE (CONT.D)
Okay, if not Robbie, maybe the keys
were stolen?

Dewey looks away, as if he is holding back something.

GALE (CONT.D)
Dewey... I know that look, what are
you hiding?
57.

DEWEY
David’s keys went missing that
afternoon. Or so he claims.
SIDNEY
So how long are you keeping him?
DEWEY
We can’t keep him for much longer.
But we at least have a lead.

GALE
I don’t buy it. It seems too easy.
DEWEY
This isn’t a game Gale, every
killer isn’t going to be flat out
impossible to find.
GALE
Whatever Dewey. I might as well go,
do some groundwork, find the real
killer. Nice seeing you Sidney.

SIDNEY
(smiling)
You too Gale.
Gale walks away quickly.

SIDNEY (CONT.D)
So how have you two been? Is
everything okay?
DEWEY
Yeah, were doing fine. She has been
happier now that she is a reporter
again. That’s the bright side.
SIDNEY
Good.
DEWEY
How have you been?
SIDNEY
Oh... I’ve been okay...work is
good...everything seemed like it
was finally going back to normal,
well until now at least.
(pauses)
Guess who I ran into today? Dameon
Jones. Jill’s father. He was
(MORE)
58.

SIDNEY (cont’d)
exploring the halls of the school.
Claiming he wanted closure.
DEWEY
Did he seem...suspicious?

SIDNEY
I don’t know. But we all know I’m
not a good judge for things like
that. You would think I could spot
the killer from a mile away.

DEWEY
Don’t beat yourself up Sid.
Everything will be fine. We will
get through this.

SIDNEY
I hope so.
Suddenly Dewey’s cellphone rings. He answers it quickly.
DEWEY
Hello?
JUDY (V.O)
Dewey, this is huge.
DEWEY
What? What happened.
JUDY (V.O)
Its Pavarti. Pavarti Simmons, you
know that reporter that tried to
sneak into the station a La Gale?
Well, she was just murdered.
DEWEY
Oh my God.
JUDY (V.O)
It’s horrible. She made it all the
way upstairs, out onto the roof,
and across the yard. Nobody in the
neighborhood saw a thing.

DEWEY
Have you contacted her family?
59.

JUDY (V.O)
No, but I’m going to....this is so
horrible. See you later Dewey.
DEWEY
Bye Judy...
Dewey Hangs up, with a sad expression in his eyes.
SIDNEY
What is it?

DEWEY
Pavarti Simmons was just killed. A
local reporter... only twenty five
years old.

Dewey sighs sadly. Clearly this is upsetting him.

SIDNEY
So young...
Sidney sits down on Dewey’s desk chair, sighing, resting her
forehead on her palms.
SIDNEY (CONT.D)
(saddened)
When will this end?...

Dewey softly rests his hand on her shoulder.

DEWEY
It will be okay Sidney. We will
catch this guy. I promise.

CUT TO:

INT. COMMUNITY CENTER: PARTY ROOM-AFTERNOON

Erin sits on a chair, with her legs crossed, staring at her

phone. Behind her, Kirby, Robbie, Alex, Britney, and Jason
are hanging up decorations.
ERIN
Shit! Paige can’t come.

Kirby looks over to her, as she hangs a red streamer.

KIRBY
Oh, why is that?
60.

ERIN
(surprised, slightly upset)
Her grandfather had a heart attack
or something, she is with him in
the hospital.

KIRBY
Aw... Is he okay?
ERIN
He’ll be fine.

KIRBY
Good.
Kirby turns back around, finishing hanging the streamer, and
quickly stepping down from the ladder.

Erin stands up, sticking her phone into her pocket, and
turning toward the decorations.
ERIN
Looks good guys... I’m gonna go get
a coffee, anyone want anything.
KIRBY
No thanks.
ALEX
Me neither.
JASON
No thank you.
ROBBIE
Yes please. Could I get an Iced
mocha please?
ERIN
(chucking)
Hm, that sounds good, but how about
I get you a plain, and normal,
coffee.
ROBBIE
(embarrassed)
Fine...
ERIN
Alright then. I will be right back.
Erin quickly storms out of the room, turning to the right.
61.

ALEX
(whispering)
She isn’t supposed to say that.
ROBBIE
Come on Alex, those rules changed
ages ago. In fact, considering this
is the sixth chapter, there aren’t
many rules at all.
JASON
So basically we are all screwed?
ROBBIE
Not exactly. We still have a chance
to live, we just have lest grounds
to work around.

ALEX
And what are they?
ROBBIE
I’m not exactly sure.

ALEX
(patting Robbie’s shoulder)
Well kudos to Robbie, but
personally I think he is reading
this completely wrong. This killer
is obviously trying to match the
original’s quality, as do most
intentional final chapters of
horror series.

KIRBY
You’re not saying "Halloween
Resurrection" is the best Halloween
since the original are you? Final
chapters in my book are usually the
worst, which is why they are the
last. They are so horrible people
don’t want another.
ALEX
But Resurrection wasn’t intended to
be the final chapter, that would
probably have to be either "H20"
or "Halloween 2" both intended to
be the final chapters, and both
arguably the best sequels of the
series.
62.

JASON
Lets not forget "Friday The
Thirteenth Part IV" The intended
final chapter of the Friday series,
and my personal favorite.

KIRBY
You guys are obviously misinformed.
What about "The Final Destination"
or even "Stab 3" both intended to
be final chapters, yet probably the
worst of the series.
ALEX
Well I am in the few that finds
"Stab 3" underrated. Not to mention
it isn’t the worst by far. "Clock
of doom" anyone?
Everyone nods there heads in slight agreement.
KIRBY
Okay, fine. But what is your point
anyway? That these murders are
something of quality? Because that
would probably put you at number
one of my suspects list.
ALEX
No. I don’t mean that these murders
are good. All I am saying is that,
the killer is most likely trying to
live up to the original. And by
doing so, is most likely returning
to the basics. Meaning, the
original rules are at play.
CUT TO:

EXT. PAVARTI’S HOUSE: AFTERNOON

Police men and women surround her yard, as well as guard it
from the flood of reporters that have somehow been informed
of the tragic event.

Judy stands over the body, looking down at the body.

JUDY
Are you sure there is no DNA
anywhere?
63.

OFFICER 1#
Sorry Hicks, nothing yet.
JUDY
Dammit.

She turns around, and crosses the yard to the police tape,
glaring at all of the reporters. It is obvious she is
disgusted at them.
JUDY
(angry)
Why don’t you leave us alone. We
will inform the media when we can.
Until then you can go fuck
yourselves.

Judy growls slightly, and storms away. She is as surprised

as anyone on how she lost her cool. She continues across the
yard, moving around to the side of the house, through a
thick patch of bushes.
The look on her face is a clear: "There has to be something"
look. And that is when she sees it.
The GHOST-
BEAT.

-standing right in front of her. She shrieks loudly, closing

her eyes, and covering her face. Waiting to be stabbed.
But it never happens. She opens her eyes, and see’s it is
only the mask. Hanging on a bush. Her eyes widen, as she
pulls on a pair of rubber gloves, pulling the mask off of
the bush.
CUT TO:

EXT. PAVARTI’S HOUSE: FRONT YARD-MOMENTS LATER

She hurries out of the side yard, holding the mask in front
of her.
JUDY
(excited)
Somebody quick! I want you to run a
DNA test on this mask as soon as
possible.
64.

OFFICER 1#
Whoa. Where did you find that?

JUDY
In the side yard. Now hurry, don’t
waist time.
CUT TO:

INT. PARTY ROOM: AFTERNOON

Kirby sits on a chair watching as Alex, Jason, Robbie, and
Britney finish the decorations. When suddenly she stands up,
and starts out of the room.

KIRBY
(calling out to them)
I’m gonna go see what’s taking Erin
so long.

ROBBIE
Hurry back.
Kirby makes her way across the room, pushing her way through
the double doors and into...

INT. HALL: AFTERNOON

As soon as the double doors swing completely closed, Kirby’s
phone RINGS.

She reaches down into her pocket and answers it without any
fear.
KIRBY
Hello?

MAN (V.O)
Hello KIRBY. How’s my favorite
little heroine?
Kirby freezes, instantly overtaken with fear, but she shrugs
it off, trying her best not to let it show.
KIRBY
Wow, you sure have taken long to
get to me, I almost feel offended.

MAN (V.O)
Aw, have you already forgotten out
little chat this morning?
65.

KIRBY
Oh yeah, that. It was so weak I
thought it was a prank. Come-on,
this is supposed to be horror
right? When do we get to the scary
part?
MAN (V.O)
Patience Kirby, patience.

KIRBY
What do you want?
MAN (V.O)
What every other killer coming
after you wants. I want you DEAD.
KIRBY
Then why not come after me first?
Do something fucking original for a
change, you ever consider that?

MAN (V.O)
Aw, you really think it is that
simple Kirby?
KIRBY
It can be, show yourself right now,
instead of hiding like a fucking
coward.
MAN (V.O)
I would prefer not to reveal myself
so early in the movie. Stab seven
did that and frankly, that movie
was shit.
KIRBY
Leave us ALONE.
MAN (V.O)
Oh please, are you really going to
pull the old "Leave us alone" on
me? I thought you were supposed to
be the replacement Sidney Prescott.
KIRBY
Says the one mimicking a killer
from 21 years ago.

MAN (V.O)
(ignoring her comment)
So I see your setting up a party.
Do you really think that is such a
(MORE)
66.

MAN (V.O) (cont’d)

good idea, with the killings and
all?
KIRBY
Listen, whoever the fuck you are.
I’m not playing games with you, and
I am most definitely not going to
let you take over my life, and flip
it upside down. So YES I think it
is a good idea thank you very much.

MAN (V.O)
No matter who gets hurt in the
process...
KIRBY
Awesome, now you are quoting Dewey.
How original. I’m getting real
scared now.
MAN (V.O)
Don’t worry Kirby, you will be
plenty scared, sooner than you
think.
The line goes DEAD. And instantly Kirby looks up, realizing
the hall is completely empty. She gasps when suddenly...

A closet door BURSTS open, and out bursts, THE GHOST. She
screams and runs as fast as she can away, but he is fast,
and quickly catches up to her, slashing the knife at top
speed toward the center of her back.

But she dodges it in the nick of tome, and starts running in

the opposite direction.
KIRBY
(panicked)
SOMEBODY! HELP! PLEASE!

She hurries as fast as she can, stopping at the corner of

the hall, looking down it, she can see at the opposite side
of the hall, a small coffee shop. It is completely empty.
Her eyes widen in surprise, and she quickly turns around,
and stares down the other hall. It is completely empty.
She wrinkles her forehead in confusion, and turns completely
around toward the coffee show, and bumps directly into...!
ERIN GILDAY.
67.

She gasps in surprise, as does Erin, backing away quickly,

and spilling a bit of coffee onto the floor.
ERIN
Shit, you made me spill the coffee.

Kirby looks at Erin with widened and suspicious eyes.

KIRBY
Sorry... you startled me...I was
just attacked. By the killer.

ERIN
WHAT!? The killer is here?
KIRBY
Well, was here. He’s gone now.

ERIN
Are you okay sweety?
Erin reaches out and pats Kirby on the shoulder softly,
comforting her.

KIRBY
I’m fine. Just, surprised, that’s
all. It’s like he disappeared into
thin air.

ERIN
Come on, lets get you a coffee. You
need it.
KIRBY
No, it’s okay. I’m fine.

ERIN
That was an order Kirby.
Kirby sighs, and the two walk toward the coffee shop once
again.
CUT TO:

INT. POLICE STATION:: INTERROGATION ROOM-AFTERNOON

Sidney sits on the opposite side of the table, resting her

forehead on her right hand.
Dewey sits across from her.
68.

SIDNEY
How is Kirby?

DEWEY
She seems...okay. I don’t think she
likes feeling like a victim.
SIDNEY
It’s almost scary how much I see
myself in her...Maybe I should talk
to her.
DEWEY
If you can catch up with her. She
is going to Erin’s party tonight.

SIDNEY
Who is Erin?
DEWEY
Her friend. She is kind of....

SIDNEY
A bitch?
DEWEY
(laughing)
Yeah...I guess you could say that..
But she seems like a sweet girl.
Young.
SIDNEY
And Robbie?
DEWEY
I don’t know. He is still his same
awkward self. But something tells
me he is dealing with all this
slightly better than Kirby.
SIDNEY
Hm, makes sense. I used to think
all of these deaths were my fault,
as if being alive, the central
target was the reason everyone
around me. Kirby has had to rebuild
her whole life twice because of
these killings. Knowing she will
possibly have to do so again must
be killing her.

Dewey nods, when suddenly the interrogation room door swings

open, and standing in the doorway is Judy.
69.

JUDY
Dewey, I have great news.
DEWEY
What is it?

JUDY
We fucking got him. We caught him.
DEWEY
You caught the killer?

JUDY
Well, no, but the next best thing.
We found a mask. From the killer.
It is being checked for DNA as we
speak!

Sidney smiles slightly. Something in her eyes shows she

doubts this is the end.
DEWEY
That is good news. How long until
they will have the results?
JUDY
Uh, a few hours.
DEWEY
Good, I suggest you go and keep
watch at Erin’s party. Make sure
nothing happens until then.
JUDY
Yes sir.

Judy turns away slightly as if she is about to leave, when

she suddenly turns around.
JUDY (CONT.D)
Where is the party?
DEWEY
The Woodsboro Community Center, in
the party room I would guess.

JUDY
Okay.
Sidney stares at Dewey.
70.

SIDNEY
This is just a distraction.
DEWEY
What?

SIDNEY
It’s just a distraction. I’m sure
whatever DNA found in that mask was
most likely planted, if there is
any DNA in it for that matter. The
killer is way too clever to make a
mistake that big.
DEWEY
Well, I hope you are wrong. I
really do.

SIDNEY
(sighing)
So do I...
CUT TO:

INT. PARTY ROOM: AFTERNOON

Erin and Kirby both enter the room, carrying coffee in their
hands.

ERIN
We decided to get you people coffee
anyway. It’s better than falling
asleep halfway through the party am
I right?

Erin hands Robbie, and Alex, a coffee while keeping one for
herself, as Kirby hands Jason, and Britney a coffee as well.
Kirby sits down, sighing, and setting her coffee on a table
in front of her.

Robbie takes a sip of the coffee and wrinkles his nose.

ROBBIE
There’s no sugar.

ERIN
I like my coffee black.
ROBBIE
Well I don’t.
71.

ERIN
(smiling)
Tough luck.
Jason notices that Kirby seems to be upset. He steps down
from the ladder and crosses the room to her.
JASON
Are you okay?
KIRBY
The killer called me, and attacked
me. SO no, I am not okay.
JASON
(surprised)
What!? When?

KIRBY
Like five minutes ago, I’m
surprised you didn’t hear me scream
for help.

JASON
I didn’t. None of us did.
Jason turns to Robbie, Alex and Britney, who all
simultaneously nod their heads.

JASON (CONT.D)
Are you okay? Are you hurt.
KIRBY
I’m fine. I just want to move on.

JASON
You just said you weren’t okay.
KIRBY
I know. But for now I am FINE.
Understand? I just want to get
drunk and have a good time at
Erin’s party.
JASON
Alright, if that’s what you want.

Jason stands up, and sighs, putting his hands on his hips.
Looking up at the decorations.
CUT TO:
72.

INT. PARTY ROOM: NIGHT

ENTER SANDMAN: BY METALICA, blasts at full volume int the
room, as the people dance to it.
The room is large, and dimly lit, with flashing strobe
lights, red streamers, and other decorations.
Kirby and Robbie sit on the couch, both holding a beer in
their hands. It is clear they both seem slightly
uncomfortable.

Erin and Britney both dance with Jason a few yards ahead,
along with what looks to be at least 50 people or more. Both
drinking beer at the same time.
Erin raises her bottle to Kirby and Robbie, and they both
reply with the same.
CUT TO:

INT. HALL: NIGHT

ENTER SANDMAN, plays in a muffled tone.

The hall is dimly lit, and long, something is extremely
eerie about it.

Suddenly through the front doors, enters Gale Weathers,

holding a video camera in her right hand, and a recorder in
her left.
She slowly sneaks into the hall, and crosses it stopping in
front of a pair of double doors, with small square windows
on each one, staring through them, into the party room, with
wide enthusiastic eyes, when suddenly a hand reaches out to
her, grabbing her shoulder.
GALE
(surprised)
SHIT!
She spins around, bumping directly into JUDY HICKS.
JUDY
Sorry for scaring you. It’s just
me.
GALE
Dammit Judy, what are you even
doing here?
73.

JUDY
What are you doing here?
GALE
What do you think I’m doing?
Come-on Judy, just answer the
question, I don’t have time for our
usual back and forth shit.
JUDY
Dewey sent me here to keep an eye
on things. We found the killer’s
mask, they are checking it for DNA
as we speak. And frankly we would
prefer no one else die.
GALE
A mask is found and you don’t
fucking call me!? This is HUGE.
JUDY
I’m sorry if the first thought in
my head wasn’t to give media whore
Gale Weathers a call.
GALE
(astounded)
EXCUSE me?

JUDY
You heard me... And frankly Gale, I
suggest you leave the premises
immediately. For your safety.

GALE
My safety my ASS.
Judy quickly makes her way to enter the party room, when
Gale grabs her hand stopping her.
ENTER SANDMAN, fades out here. BAD ROMANCE: BY LADY GAGA,
begins to play, in the same muffled volume.
GALE (CONT.D)
(mocking)
Are you sure it is safe in there
Judy? Can you even handle a gun?

Judy yanks her arm out from Gale’s hand and turns around
staring directly into Gales eyes.
74.

JUDY
Listen Gale, you may have been able
to push me around six years ago,
but I am not fucking kidding. Leave
NOW, or I will have to arrest you.

GALE
Damn Judy, I’m impressed, you’ve
become a bitch.
JUDY
Leave Gale.
GALE
Fine, I’ll leave.
Gale tuns around and storms across the hall, and is about to
exit through the glass doors when she turns back around
holding her finger up, pointing at Judy.
GALE (CONT.D)
By the way Judy, you may be feeling
extremely confident tonight,
because you found some mask at
Pavarti’s crime scene. But you need
a serious reality check if you
think it is anything but a setup. I
bet my life on that.

Judy folds her arms impatiently.

JUDY
Goodbye Gale.

Gale growls and darts out of the building. Judy watches

through the doors, as Gale quickly makes her way to the
right, completely out of view.
Judy sighs, and turns around entering the party room.

A few seconds pass before, Gale steps back into view from
the right, and stares through the glass doors, looking for
Judy. Once she realities she is gone, she quickly hurries
back through the entrance doors, and makes her way down the
hall.

CUT TO:
75.

INT. PARTY ROOM: NIGHT

BAD ROMANCE, plays louder.
Erin continues to drink on the dance floor, but Jason, and
Britney cross the room, and collapse onto the couch next to
Kirby.
BRITNEY
So I think this party was a
success.

ROBBIE
Lucky we found this couch, or I
would have to actually dance.
BRITNEY
(chuckling)
SO.. where is Alex?
ROBBIE
I don’t know, he said he was going
to the bathroom, but that was
almost an hour ago. I’m guessing he
ditched us. You know how he feels
about parties.
BRITNEY
Well if he did Erin will be pissed.
She hasn’t even opened presents
yet.
JASON
Erin is probably the only person I
know that still write "Bring Gift"
on her invitations. Usually you
bring a gift for the person if you
feel like it, not because its a
requirement.

ERIN
Well, that’s not how Erin rolls,
she likes to have control of
everything in her life. I’m
surprised how well she is handling
the killings. But I guess this
party is her distraction.
JASON
And what’s your distraction?
76.

BRITNEY
Blasting loud rock music in my
ears. It soothes me in a way, and
is less annoying than being a
control freak.

BAD ROMANCE, ends, and Erin smiles, hurrying forward and

leaning forward to them.
ERIN
Well, I hate to admit it, but you
guys actually did a pretty decent
job on the party. Well done.
KIRBY
Thank you. By the way, were
thinking we should open the
presents after this next song, so
get ready.
ERIN
Okay then. I just need to clean
myself up, I’ll be right back.

Erin stands up, grabbing a beer out of a nearby cooler, and

opens it with her teeth, spitting the top onto the floor,
and taking a large sip.
Erin steps through the crowd of dancing people, raising her
glass cheering loudly, with a huge grin on her face.
ERIN
I’ll be right back!
She then chugs the beer, until the bottle is half empty, and
sets it on a nearby table. Then Exit’s through double doors
into...

INT. HALL

The hall is long and dark, with not a single person visible.
Clearly everyone that isn’t at the party, has already left
the building.
Erin doesn’t seem to take notice of it, and doesn’t hesitate
to quickly hurry down the hall. She seems a bit drunk, and
is giggling to herself all the way.
Suddenly, her cellphone rings. She chuckles and answers it.
77.

ERIN
Hello? This is Erin Gilday
speaking.
MAN (V.O)
Hello Erin...
ERIN
Who is this?
MAN (V.O)
Guess.
ERIN
Oh I get it, you are supposed to be
ghostface right?
(baby talk)
The big, mean, and scary killer,
that is out to get me right?
(normal)
Well I can totally kick your ass if
you try anything.

MAN (V.O)
I don’t know what you are talking
about.
ERIN
Oh come on, don’t pull that shit on
me. I recognize your voice, it’s
from Stab. Trust me, I may not look
the type, but I know my shit.
MAN (V.O)
Do you?
ERIN
Yes as a matter of fact, I DO. Call
me back once you grow the balls to
actually terrorize me properly.
Goodbye.
Erin hangs up the phone stuffing it back into her purse. She
looks up and see’s a bathroom door, she sighs, and hurries
toward it.

CUT TO:
78.

INT. PARTY ROOM

Music blasts loudly in the background. Kirby and Robbie sit
on a large black couch, with bottles of beer in their hands.
Suddenly, Jason sits down in between them, with a slight
smile.
JASON
What’s taking Erin so long?

KIRBY
She went to the bathroom, she wants
to get made up before she opens
presents. You know much time she
spends on stuff like that.

JASON
All that makeup she wears makes you
wonder what her actual face looks
like.
KIRBY
(laughing)
Come-on, don’t tease. it’s her
birthday remember?
JASON
Fine....but wait, is it really safe
for her to be alone? With the
killings and all?
KIRBY
I’m sure she is fine. And what did
I say about the killings? I don’t
want to hear about them tonight,
just let me relax for like two
seconds okay?
JASON
Jeez, no need to get so pissed with
me.
CUT TO:

INT. BATHROOM
Erin leans forward, over the sinks, staring into the mirror,
putting on a thick coating of red lipstick.
Eventually she closes the lipstick, and stuffs it into her
purse, when suddenly her phone rings.
79.

She reaches into her purse, and takes out her phone,
answering it.
ERIN
Hello?

MAN (V.O)
Hello Erin.
ERIN
Oh, it’s you again. Well, are you
ready to make my knees wobble in
fright?
MAN (V.O)
Where are you?

ERIN
I’m in the bathroom you pervert.
MAN (V.O)
Where AM I?

ERIN
Oh come on, is that the best you
can do?
Erin crosses the room, and exits through the bathroom door.

ERIN (CONT.D)
Well if you are in the bathroom you
are pretty much screwed over.
She reaches down and locks it from the outside.

MAN (V.O)
Who said I was in the bathroom?
ERIN
No one did, I simply said "if you
are".
MAN (V.O)
Silly Erin, I thought a movie buff
like you would know better, than to
enter a long dark hallway, with
help just out of reach.
ERIN
I’m not scared of you, dickhead.
Not until you come out at me with a
knife will my heart skip a beat.
80.

There is a crashing sound to the right. She gasps slightly,

turning her head down the hall.
MAN (V.O)
I thought you weren’t scared.

ERIN
I’m not. There is a difference
between actually being scared, and
being startled.

MAN (V.O)
I see. Well how is this for fright?
If you don’t answer the following
question right, i will cut your
fucking face open, and let you
drown in your own blood.

ERIN
I’m not answering a fucking
question, so if you want me, your
going to have to kill me without
interrogating me first.

Erin Hangs up angrily.

INT. HALL 2#: NIGHT

Gale slowly walks down the hall, she seems a bit lost, but
she is making the best of it, filming with her video camera.
Finally she see’s a pair of double doors, inside is the
party room.

Se wrinkles her forehead in confusion. Obviously she has

found some sort of back door, she reaches out, and opens the
door, stepping inside.

INT. PARTY ROOM: NIGHT

She stares around at the party, slightly uninterested. When
she suddenly spots Kirby.
Who is kissing Jason softly and passionately on the couch.
Britney and Robbie are sitting on the opposite side of the
couch, talking.
Gale crosses the room, to them, smiling.
81.

ROBBIE
Hello Gale. You were invited to
Erin’s Party?

GALE
Not officially, no.
Kirby turns to Gale smiling slightly, like two old friends
seeing each other for the first time in years.

KIRBY
Hey Gale.
Kirby crosses over to her, and hugs her, smiling.

KIRBY (CONT.D)
Glad you could make it, invited or
not.
Britney stands up off of the couch and smiles at them.

BRITNEY
We should probably get ready. We
should surprise Erin when she gets
back with the presents.
KIRBY
Good idea.
Britney steps forward and shuts off the music, and turns on
the lights.

Everyone in the room groans and turns to her. Britney

smiles.
BRITNEY
Okay guys, Erin should be back any
minute. So get your gifts out and,
let’s surprise her.
Everyone in the room sighs, and begins to get their gifts
off of a table.
GALE
Doesn’t she already know about the
party?
BRITNEY
Yeah, she does. But this is our one
chance to do something she isn’t in
control of or expecting. Her
reaction should be priceless.
Gale shrugs, and turns back to Kirby.
82.

INT. HALL: NIGHT

It is pitch black. Erin slowly steps forward, the tapping of
her heels echoing throughout the room, and the faint sound
of music playing in the distance.
When suddenly from behind her, ghost face fades into view,
slowly raising the knife high above his head.

Her phone rings, filling the room with a bright, blue hue.
She answers it, clearly not seeing who is standing behind
her.
ERIN
What the fuck now?!

MAN (V.O)
Look behind you.
Erin slowly turns around chuckling, and looks up. Seeing the
figure. Her eyes widen in shock, and she lets out a loud
shriek in fright.
Ghostface thrashes the knife down toward her, but she dodges
it, running to the right. Without any hesitation she rams
her knee hard into his side, with a loud shriek.

He falls to the ground, but doesn’t let go of the knife. He

thrashes it toward her, but she dodges it again, and kicks
him hard in the side.
ERIN
FUCKER!
She turns around and begins to run down the hall as fast as
she can. Not looking back.
Erin runs through a dark hall, screaming. Music is blasting
loudly from a nearby room drowning out her screams. At the
end of the hall, she bumps directly into GHOSTFACE.
She screams loudly, as he swings the knife downward toward
the center of her throat, her eyes filled with fright.

She ducks as fast as she can, the knife slicing a bit of her
face. She screams in pain, and continues to run as fast as
she can toward the party room doors.
ERIN (CONT.D)
SOMEBODY HELP ME! PLEASE SOMEBODY!

She turns her head, staring at Ghostface, he is gaining on

her. She turns completely around, and bumps directly
into...!
83.

JUDY HICKS.
Erin gasps crying.
ERIN (CONT.D)
JUDY! PLEASE THE KILLER! HE IS
ATTACKING ME. PLEASE!
JUDY
(trying to stay calm)
Hurry, get behind me.

Erin hurries behind Judy. Ghostface stops running, standing

still, tilting his head slowly.
JUDY (CONT.D)
Stay right there, or I’ll shoot.

Ghostface steps forward.

JUDY (CONT.D)
I mean it, stay STILL.

The hall’s dim lights suddenly turn off, with a loud crash.
Judy shoots her gun three times, but is stopped when
ghostface runs forward in the darkness, PLUNGING the knife
directly into the center of her heart.
The lights turn completely on, with an extremely bright
glare, letting us see the grim details.
Ghostface stands inches from Judy, the knife dug DEEPLY into
her heart, her face is pressed up against the mask, staring
into the deep black eyes.

Ghostface rips the knife from her heart, and she collapses
to the floor., dead.
Erin shrieks, blood splattered onto her clothes and face,
blood streaming out of the cut on her cheek. Ghostface
stares directly toward her, and she screams again, turning
around, and running as fast as she can toward the party room
doors.
When she reaches them she slams her way through them and
into the party room...
84.

INT. PARTY ROOM: NIGHT

The lights are all on, and everyone is standing in the
center of the room, holding out their presents.
EVERYONE
Surprise!
Erin doesn’t pay attention to them, she runs forward crying
tears streaming down her face, directly to Kirby, Gale,
Robbie, Britney, and Jason.

ERIN
HE KILLED JUDY! HE KILLED JUDY!
Kirby stares with widened, and frightened eyes. Erin falls
to her knees in tears.

CUT TO:

EXT. COMMUNITY CENTER: PARKING LOT

It is filled with police cars, and people, being interviewed

by the police, and just watching the events. Erin sits in an
ambulance with a blanket wrapped around her.
Dewey stands in front of her, as well as Kirby, Robbie,
Jason, Britney, Gale, and Sidney. Who stands closest to
Erin, trying her best to comfort her
Everyone looks extremely saddened over Judy’s Death.
DEWEY
Are you sure, you didn’t see
anyone?
ERIN
I am telling you, I didn’t see the
fucking killer! He was wearing that
stupid ass ghostface costume okay?

SIDNEY
It’s okay Erin, just try to calm
down.

ERIN
How am I supposed to calm down? I
was just attacked by some fucker
trying to kill me, and just watch
someone STABBED to death. I can not
calm down.
85.

KIRBY
Everything will be okay Erin.
ERIN
You say that because you are safe,
you are this stupid franchises
heroine you are one step back from
being immortal.
Kirby turns away, appearing hurt by what Erin said. Erin
see’s this and sighs.

ERIN (CONT.D)
(sighing)
Listen Kirby, I’m sorry. I
shouldn’t have said that, I’m just
a tiny bit on edge at the moment.

KIRBY
It’s fine.
Kirby sighs.

Dewey turns to Gale. She seems very upset. He grabs her arm
and pulls her aside.
DEWEY
What were you doing here anyway?

GALE
I was here at the party...
DEWEY
You weren’t trying to get your
breaking story. Here? Just hoping
to catch the killer in action with
your stupid little cameras?
GALE
I didn’t even bring a camera here
Dewey. I came here for Kirby if
that is so hard to believe.
DEWEY
To tell you the truth it kind of
is. So please, explain, why you
were at Kirby’s party, when
according to them, you weren’t
invited.
Gale stomps her foot on the ground.
86.

GALE
Dammit.
DEWEY
I suppose you just decided to pay
Erin a visit for her birthday, a
girl you barely know?
GALE
Why is it that whenever I try to do
something nice, people think I
am just out for a story.
DEWEY
Maybe it is because you are?
GALE
Well I am sorry. That is just who I
am. I am constantly working, I
write what I see. I don’t
understand why I am the one that
has to change here. You married me
knowing exactly how I am, so why
did you make me stop reporting,
huh? Why didn’t you quit the
police?
DEWEY
It was your choice to change Gale.
I only suggested.
GALE
Whatever, you and your suggestions
can go fuck themselves.

Gale spins around angrily, and begins to walk away.

DEWEY
GALE!

She turns around angrily, looking at him.

GALE
WHAT!?
DEWEY
Judy is dead. There is nothing we
can do about it. She is gone. You
have to understand my concern with
you being at Kirby’s party where
she was murdered.
87.

GALE
I know she is Dewey. And I know it
hurts. She was my friend too. But
that is exactly why I have to do
this. TO find this fucker.

Gale spins back around and storms away. Dewey sighs, and
turns back to the others. He quickly hurries to them.
DEWEY
Kirby, and Erin. We need to down at
the station for further
questioning.
KIRBY
Okay.

DEWEY
Don’t worry, it is just standard
procedure. It won’t take longer
than a few minutes.
KIRBY
Okay...
(turning to Robbie, Jason and
Britney)
You guys should stay at my house, I
think it’s better if we stick
together right now.

JASON
Okay Kirbs.
BRITNEY
Oh shit, sorry Kirby, I would, but
my dad would kill me if I didn’t
show up tonight with the murders
and all. Might as well humor him
and show up.
KIRBY
Okay, I guess that’s fine. You and
Robbie should go though Jason.
Okay?

ROBBIE
Alright.
Dewey steps forward. He seems to have been on a cellphone.
88.

DEWEY
Actually, change of plans. Robbie
needs to come as well.
JASON
Okay then. I guess I am going
alone.
DEWEY
We can station a couple cops in
front of her apartment if you’d
like.
JASON
Nah, I’ll be fine. I doubt the
killer would strike twice in one
night anyway.

DEWEY
Alright, I guess that’s fine. I
will send a patrol car to check on
things in a while though.

JASON
Alright, seems reasonable.
Jason leans down and kisses Kirby passionately.

INT. POLICE STATION: HALL-HALL

Dewey, Kirby, Erin, and Robbie, all cross the room. when
suddenly, Sidney steps out, from around the corner.
SIDNEY
Dewey..
DEWEY
Sid!

Sidney smiles slightly, but it is obvious she is upset.

SIDNEY
I heard about Judy.
DEWEY
(saddened)
Yes...she’s gone.
89.

INT. POLICE STATION: INTERROGATION ROOM

The room is dimly lit, Sidney and Kirby sit across from each
other talking quietly.
SIDNEY
How have you been Kirby?
Kirby turns away for a few seconds, before turning back to
Sidney, and sighing.

KIRBY
I guess I’ve been okay...poor
Judy... It’s all my fault.
SIDNEY
I used to think it was my fault
too, but you can’t let yourself
believe that. It isn’t true. The
only persons fault is the killers.
KIRBY
I tried to ignore what was
happening. I never should have
continued with Erin’s party.
SIDNEY
It is not your fault Kirby. Trust
me as someone with experience. It
makes total sense that you would
try to continue your life as normal
as you possibly could.
Kirby stares down at the floor, trying to hid her tears.

KIRBY
(crying)
I just don’t get why this is
happening. Why me? I didn’t ask for
this. I didn’t ask to be stared at,
wherever I go, and I didn’t ask for
all people that associate with me
to get butchered.
Sidney sighs and rests her hand on Kirby’s shoulder.

SIDNEY
I know you didn’t Kirby. I didn’t
either. But that doesn’t mean we
should give up trying.
Kirby smiles faintly for a few seconds.
90.

KIRBY
You probably want to leave
Woodsboro and all contact with me.
You beat your ’trilogy’. Might as
well not get killed in a special
guest appearance of mine.
SIDNEY
I’m not leaving you Kirby. I’m with
you till the end. I promise.

Kirby smiles again faintly, looking up at Sidney’s confident

and strong eyes.
KIRBY
Thanks Sid.

Jason and Robbie suddenly enter the room, with saddened

faces.
SIDNEY
How is she?

JASON
She seems to be getting back to her
normal self.
SIDNEY
(sighing)
Good...
Jason sits down next to Kirby, wrapping his arm around her
shoulder. Robbie sits next to Sidney sighing.

ROBBIE
I can’t believe it...Judy. Dead
just like that.
SIDNEY
Everything will be okay.

JASON
I’m so sorry Sidney. I know how
hard this must be for you.
SIDNEY
It’s okay. Don’t worry about me.
CUT TO:
91.

EXT. COMMUNITY CENTER: PARKING LOT

Gale walks around the area, scanning the group of people
watching. When suddenly she catches a glimpse of Dameon.
Her eyes widen, and she reaches into her pocket taking a
video camera out of her pocket, and hurrying toward him.
GALE
Mr. Jones! Could I have a word.
Dameon backs away at first, but sighs and turns to her.
DEMEON
Hello. I am guessing you are the
legendary Gale Weathers everyone is
telling me about.
GALE
Well thank you.

DAMEON
They also told me to stay away from
you. That you are a bloodsucking
reporter that will do anything to
get a story.

GALE
Jesus, you sound like my husband...
Anyway, do you mind being on
camera?

DAMEON
I guess not.
Gale smiles and points her camera toward herself.
GALE
This is Gale Weathers, reporting,
with an exclusive interview, with
Dameon Jones, the father of Jill
Roberts, who abandoned her at
birth.

Dameon’s eyes dart to Gales angrily.

DAMEON
Excuse me, I didn’t abandon her,
her mother told me to leave and
never come back. And she somehow
got full custody. I saw my daughter
maybe like twice a year, if I would
have known what was going on in her
head I would have done something.
92.

GALE
Why did Kate tell you to leave? Did
you do something?
DAMEON
No! Of course not. I loved her, but
she was destroyed by her sister’s
murder, it changed her. And she
eventually cheated on me, with five
or six different men. I was
absolutely heartbroken, but I loved
her so much I forgave her. But she
cheated on me again, and again, and
I kept forgiving her, until finally
I realized... she didn’t want to be
forgiven.

GALE
I’m so sorry.
DAMEON
Don’t be. It was a long time ago,
and now I am just trying to get my
life back in order.
GALE
Well thank you for being so
cooperative.

DAMEON
No problem.
Gale smiles, and walks away, obviously happy that she has
found one person to cooperate with her reporting.

EXT. POLICE STATION: MORNING

The police station seems to be less crowded then it was
before, but still many reporters stand in front of the
entrance.
Suddenly, from out of the police station, David, and a man
presumably his lawyer, exit quickly.
The reporters instantly start throwing out questions, but
David and his lawyer ignore them, and cross the parking lot
quickly, and quietly with their heads low, getting into a
large black SUV, and driving off, as reporters chase after
them.
CUT TO:
93.

INT. KIRBY’S APARTMENT: LIVING ROOM

Kirby lies on the couch, with her head on Jason’s lap, and
Robbie lies on the floor, clearly not comfortable. He sits
up slowly, his hair messed up from the night.

He reaches out to the TV. Remote and turns on the TV without

hesitation, turning the volume down low immediately. It is
on a local news station.
REPORTER
David Arnatz, was just released
from custody of the police. He was
first taken in for questioning when
Ramona Harolds, Emily Josephine,
and Eric Piercing, were brutally
murdered, two days ago. Our sources
claim, that he may be a suspect in
the murders. However, recent
updates state that the mask- found
by the now deceased Officer Judy
Hicks, had no DNA pointing to
David. Could David be a Stab fan
gone too far?
Robbie shuts the TV off angrily, tossing the remote to the
coffee table. This wakes Jason, who opens his eyes lazily,
yawning softly.

JASON
What are you so angry about?
ROBBIE
They released David. Apparently
there was no DNA in the mask Judy
found pointing the murders to him.
JASON
Well that’s obvious. He was in
questioning when Pavarti was
killed, it would have to be his
partner.
ROBBIE
Whatever, that isn’t even the
point...

Kirby slowly opens her eyes, with a confused expression in

her eyes.
KIRBY
What are you guys talking about?
94.

JASON
(ignoring Kirby)
If that isn’t the point, then what
is?

ROBBIE
They said "the deceased Judy Hicks"
it was like it didn’t even matter
to them.
KIRBY
Seriously guys, what the hell are
you talking about?
ROBBIE
David was released from custody.

KIRBY
Oh...
Robbie stands up, and crosses the room without hesitation.
ROBBIE
Where are you going?
KIRBY
To find Alex. He has been missing
since last night.

Kirby stands up, and begins to pull on a leather jacket,

that happened to be lying on the floor.
KIRBY (CONT.D)
Ill go with you.

ROBBIE
No. It’s fine. I can go by myself.
He probably just went home, and has
been sleeping ever since. You stay
here with Erin.

KIRBY
Do you really think it is a good
idea to go wondering around alone
at a time like this?

ROBBIE
(sighing)
Fine... I’ll pick up Britney. But I
doubt anything will happen in the
daytime.
95.

JASON
(laughing)
Randy was killed in the daytime. In
a public place too.

Robbie pauses for a moment, clearly realizing he was right.

And sighs.
ROBBIE
Well, I will have Britney with me.

He sighs once again, and exits through the front door

closing it.
CUT TO:

EXT. WOODSBORO UNIVERSITY: FOUNTAIN

Robbie and Britney quickly cross the large grassy area
toward the fountain.
BRITNEY
Why exactly are we here?
ROBBIE
Because I know Alex.
Robbie sits, down on the fountain sighing. Britney sits down
next to him.
BRITNEY
What do you mean?
ROBBIE
We were dating, before... Alice
went on her murder spree. And when
he was told, of what she did... it
was really difficult for him to
believe, not to mention deal with.

BRITNEY
I can understand that. It must have
really been difficult.
ROBBIE
It was. He blamed himself for a
while. He barely looked at me. he
felt so guilty. I mean he called
her during the last night. And he
didn’t notice anything different.
96.

BRITNEY
How could he? She fooled everyone.
Just like Jill.
ROBBIE
That’s what I tried to tell him,
but he wouldn’t buy it.
BRITNEY
Oh...

ROBBIE
He came here a lot. He said it was
because he wanted closure. He
needed to see where it all
happened. Makes sense.

BRITNEY
I guess so.
ROBBIE
He probably is just confused with
the killing that are happening.

BRITNEY
Well I don’t see him here....
ROBBIE
Yeah, I don’t either we should
probably just check his house.
BRITNEY
(rolling her eyes)
I don’t know why we didn’t do that
in the first place.
They both stand up, and begin to cross the field, toward the
street.
CUT TO:

INT. KIRBY’S APARTMENT: LIVING ROOM

Kirby sighs, leaning her head back on the couch, staring up
at the ceiling. Jason sits next to her, with his arm around
her shoulders.
JASON
Everything will be okay Kirby.
Everything will be just fine.
97.

KIRBY
I don’t know Jason... I don’t think
I’m cut out for this, I mean,
Sidney is like a mother to me, but
in the end, I am not her. I don’t
think I am heroine material.
JASON
Sure you are. We will get through
this. We all will I promise you.

Kirby sighs, and rests her head on his chest, closing her
eyes slightly. When Erin enters the room, in a proud and
happy stride.
ERIN
Good morning bitches. If you think
last night somehow made it okay
that you didn’t buy my a present
Jason then you are wrong. I expect
a gift beautifully wrapped and
addressed to me this Monday.

JASON
(clearly annoyed)
Shut up Erin. This may be a
shocker, but there are more
important things happening than
your birthday present.
ERIN
Don’t you realize the killer wants
us to get scared shit-less? He
wants us to shake in our boots, and
not want to go on with our lives.
So our best bet is to just continue
on with our lives, until they
reveal themselves idiotically, like
they do every time.

JASON
And yeah, when will you notice that
people are DYING. When will you
notice enough to loose your stupid
’wit’ that nobody finds funny, and
realize that you are just a bitch
that nobody even likes, that we
would all be happy to ditch, if it
wasn’t for you and Kirby’s
friendship.
98.

ERIN
It isn’t me being witty. It is my
colorful personality. You on the
other hand are nothing but a 2
dimensional bore that go lucky in
the looks department. So why don’t
you do Kirby a favor and get your
small mediocre ass out of her
apartment, so she can find a man
that is actually interesting enough
to please her in the end.
Jason and Kirby’s eyes widen. Clearly she had gone too far.
Jason stands up and storms out of the room, angrily, leaving
Kirby alone on the couch, not acting quick enough to stop
him.
KIRBY
Why did you have to cause problems?
You know what, why do you EVER
cause problems.

ERIN
I was only joking. Jesus, people
have no sens of humor.
KIRBY
There is humor, and then there is
simple insults. This falls into the
latter category.
Erin sighs, and sits down net to Kirby. Pushing her hair
behind her ears.
ERIN
I’m sorry. It’s just part of who I
am, I get on a roll and I cant
stop. I learned it from having two
older brothers and an older sister.
We were fighting constantly.
KIRBY
It’s okay. Just maybe you should
apologize to him?

ERIN
He should apologize to me. He
called me a bitch for crying out
loud.

KIRBY
Come-on Erin, even you have called
yourself a bitch. Why is Jason any
different?
99.

Erin sighs, folding her arms, and stands up.

ERIN
FINE. I will apologize, but for you
only.

KIRBY
Fine.
Erin crosses the room, entering the bedroom.

INT. KIRBY’S APARTMENT: BEDROOM

She enters the room, Jason, who is sitting on the bed, turns
his head to her.

ERIN
I just came in here to say sorry I
suppose, I was out of line.
Jason sighs, rolling his eyes.

JASON
Whatever, just try not to be such a
bitch all the time.
Erin nods her head uncomfortably.

ERIN
So what exactly are we going to do?
There is not much we can do to stop
this. So we might as well find a
way to protect Kirby.

JASON
Oh my God. Am I crazy or does Erin
want to do something selfless for
another person.

ERIN
Yeah, yeah. Don’t get used to it...
But anyway, I think we should get
Kirby, out of town.
Erin crosses the room, and sits on the bed next to Jason.

JASON
Are you sure if we are even allowed
to leave town? i mean were all
suspects.
100.

ERIN
Fuck the law, I mean, 5 times in a
row they don’t find the killer’s
identity until they were served to
them on a platter with a side of 5
or 6 more victims.
JASON
Well what will leaving town
actually accomplish, whoever is
doing this could just follow us,
not to mention one of us could be
the killer.
ERIN
Are you saying you are the killer
Jason?

JASON
No...
ERIN
Because I highly doubt Kirby is,
and I know I am not, and Robbie is
to scrawny to be a killer anyway.
JASON
I guess you are right, but still
what about the possible killers
following us wherever we go?
ERIN
Maybe them following us is a good
thing, don’t you think?

JASON
I’m not sure how a serial killer
following us could be considered a
good thing, but please explain.

ERIN
Well, considering we would be the
only people aware of our own
departure, someone following us
would be pretty suspicious, and
what if the killer happens to
attack when that person is not
around? That would be incredibly
suspicious, don’t you think?
Jason’s eyes widen, and he smiles slyly, he instantly gets
what she is saying.
101.

JASON
Okay, but you should take it up
with Kirby first. It’s her
decision.
Erin rolls her eyes.
ERIN
That totally ruins my plans to
kidnap her.
Erin stands up and exits the room, after a few seconds Jason
follows after her.

EXT. ALEX’S HOUSE: AFTERNOON

Britney and Robbie slowly track their way up the hilly front
yard.

BRITNEY
So what happens if he isn’t here.
ROBBIE
I don’t really know.

They step up onto the porch. Robbie reaches out and rings
the doorbell. They wait for a few moments, with no answer.
BRITNEY
Screw this.

Britney reaches out and opens the door, it is surprisingly

unlocked, they both enter the house.

INT. ALEX’S HOUSE: LIVING ROOM

They slowly step across the room. Sitting on the couch, with
the back of his head toward them.
ROBBIE BRITNEY
Alex!? Alex!

Robbie slowly crosses the room, staring over Alex’s

shoulder, and staring at what sits in his lap. It is a photo
album, filled with pictures of Alice Oates.
ROBBIE
Alex...?
Alex sighs.
102.

ALEX
She was my sister... I loved her. I
would have done anything for her.
ROBBIE
We all cared about her, you know
that. She betrayed US.
ALEX
Maybe if I was there for her
more... maybe she never would have
done any of this, and she would
still be alive today.
ROBBIE
No Alex. it isn’t your fault, if
anything it is my fault for
introducing Kirby to her, for all I
know it could have started it all.
ALEX
That’s fucking stupid, and you know
it. You guys were friends, we were
blood relatives, how could I have
just deserted her, and let this
happen? I wasn’t even there for
you, when this happened.
Britney sits down on a chair in the corner of the room,
clearly uncomfortable with the conversation.
ROBBIE
Not that it would have done us any
good, I am glad that you were there
when you were. I think it is better
that you weren’t there, you didn’t
have to see that side of her. So
you can remember the good side of
her.

Britney sighs.
ALEX
Was there ever even a good side of
her? Or was it all just part of her
act.

ROBBIE
She waited until you left to start
all this. Obviously she cared
enough about you to make sure you
didn’t get hurt.
103.

ALEX
Was it truly about protecting me or
was is simply, getting the big
protective brother out of the way
so she could go on a fucking murder
spree.
ROBBIE
Alex, you can’t do this to
yourself. It was not your fault.
End of Story.

ALEX
I wish I could believe that...
Britney sighs, shaking her head sadly.

ALEX (CONT.D)
Sorry for ditching you guys last
night.
ROBBIE
Yeah, where did you go anyway?

ALEX
I don’t know why, but I had a bad
feeling about that night... And I
chickened out, I ran.. see? I’m not
good enough for you, you should
find someone that actually has the
guts to protect you, not run away.
ROBBIE
Stop being stupid. I love you, that
is all that matters, all of this
rambling on is just silly.
Robbie leans forward and kisses Alex for a few seconds.
ROBBIE (CONT.D)
I will be fine. Besides, who says
you are the one that is supposed to
protect me? We protect each other,
it isn’t one sided.
Alex sighs, and nods his head slightly, looking up at
Robbie.
ALEX
If you say so...
(sighing)
I’m sorry about Judy. She seemed
like a great person.
104.

Robbie sits down on the couch, and sighs, nodding his head
softly.
ROBBIE
She was.

Suddenly, seemingly from out of nowhere, the phone RINGS.

Alex darts his eyes to the phone on the coffee table,
staying completely still.
BRITNEY
Aren’t you going to answer that?
ALEX
Nope, I’m fine.
Britney rolls her eyes, and crosses the room, answering the
phone.
BRITNEY
Hello, Oates residence.
ALEX
It is probably just some asshole
prankster.
ROBBIE
Why would you say that?

ALEX
One called me a few minutes before
you got here.
BRITNEY
(holding phone to chest)
Keep it down guys, i cant hear what
this guy is saying.
She lifts the receiver of the phone back to her ear.

BRITNEY (CONT.D)
Sorry about the interruption. Who
is this?
MAN (V.O)
Guess.

BRITNEY
I’m not big on guessing, to be
honest.
105.

MAN (V.O)
Well that’s disappointing... But
now that we are being honest, why
don’t you honestly tell me how you
would like for me to kill you and
your friends. A quick painless
death, or slow and painful?
BRITNEY
Whatever amuses you the most I
suppose, shit-face. Well, I have to
go, I don’t speak to cowards.
Britney hangs up, sighing, and collapsing onto the couch.

BRITNEY (CONT.D)
So either that was some sick joke,
or the killer just called us.
ALEX
Well you certainly taking that
lightly.
BRITNEY
Of course I am. I’m not scared of
some chicken shit, that can’t even
show his or her face to the
victims.
ROBBIE
That doesn’t make him any less
dangerous.

Suddenly the phone RINGS. Britney rolls her eyes and reaches
out to the phone, answering it once again.
BRITNEY
Well you certainly are persistent.

MAN (V.O)
You three seem to be having a
’moment’ regarding Alice Oates. I
apologize for interrupting.

BRITNEY
What to you know about Alice Oates?
Are you another asshole killing for
fame, or are you actually
interesting this time around?

MAN (V.O)
I can assure you, I am most
definitely not killing for fame.
106.

BRITNEY
Alright, then why?
MAN (V.O)
You will know soon enough.

BRITNEY
Alright then. If I will know soon
enough then why not tell me right
here and right now? Seems like a
huge waste of time just fucking
with our heads if you want revenge,
don’t you think?
MAN (V.O)
Who said I wanted revenge?

BRITNEY
I don’t know, but if you aren’t
killing for fame, revenge is the
next motive that comes to mind,
unless you are doing this simply
for fun.

MAN (V.O)
Maybe I am.
BRITNEY
Whatever dude, seems incredibly
illogical, but I’m not inside your
head, so I can’t speak for you. But
honestly, more then anything, you
are incredibly pathetic.

MAN
I may be pathetic, but I have your
life in the palm of my hands.
BRITNEY
Sure you do... well I have to go,
I’m getting bored with you, and
your second rate tactics.
She hangs up the phone, chuckling to herself.
ALEX
You know, there is being brave and
just plain stupid.
BRITNEY
Are you serious? Kissing the
killer’s ass never helps you, the
ones that live are always smarter
(MORE)
107.

BRITNEY (cont’d)
than the killer and his or her’s
lame tactics to scare you.
Screaming and crying wont do you
shit.

The phone rings. Britney turns to it, and chuckles. She

reaches out to it and answers.
BRITNEY
Hello.

MAN (V.O)
You don’t seem to be taking me
seriously.
BRITNEY
Duh. The general audience of horror
tends to grow tired of repetition.
The more original the creators try
to be, the more of a joke the
killer and series becomes.

MAN (V.O)
(instantly fed up)
Listen to me, you fucking bitch! In
the end it doesn’t matter who is
the bigger joke, all that matters
is that I am standing over your
body with a fucking knife and there
is not a fucking thing you and your
stupid friends can do about it.
This time, the killer will WIN.

THE LINE GOES DEAD. Britney freezes, she is obviously

scared, but doesn’t want to show it.
BRITNEY
Call the cops. This fucker may be
lame, but he could be dangerous.

Alex reaches into his pocket, and takes out his cellphone.
Before he can do a thing, it RINGS, and after a few seconds,
both Britney and Robbie’s phones RING.
Britney and Robbie quickly take the phone’s out of their
pockets, taking deep nervous breaths.
ROBBIE
Oh shit, I think it is him.
108.

BRITNEY
(scared and surprised)
He is calling all of us?

ALEX
What do we do?
BRITNEY
Just stay calm, and answer.

Britney answers her cellphone first.

BRITNEY (CONT.D)
Hello?

MAN (V.O)(FROM BRIT’S PHONE)

Hello Britney. How’s this for
originality?
BRITNEY
(crossing the living room)
Where the fuck are you?
MAN (V.O)(FROM BRIT’S PHONE)
Well this is a first, you aren’t
spewing off idiotic statements you
seem to think are clever.

Britney turns to Alex and Robbie who are standing, staring

toward her, waiting for her to tell them what to do next.
She motions them to answer their phones.
Robbie answers his first.

ROBBIE
Hello?
MAN (V.O)(FROM ROBBIE’S PHONE)
Hello Robbie.
ROBBIE
What do you want?
MAN (V.O)(FROM ROBBIE’S PHONE)
Let’s cut the bullshit Robbie. I’m
tired of the plain old "Why are you
doing this?", "Where are you",
"What do you want". It makes this
far less interesting.

ROBBIE
This isn’t meant to be interesting.
it is MURDER. It isn’t some kind of
joke.
109.

MAN (V.O)(FROM ROBBIE’S PHONE)

Aw... that truly is beautiful
Robbie. But tell me, what is the
point? You are always seen as the
comic relief rip off of Randy. You
will never be the hero.
ROBBIE
That is exactly what the killer
said to Randy, but look at him. He
is loved by countless Stab fans.

MAN (V.O)(FROM ROBBIE’S PHONE)

But don’t you realize Robbie? These
fan’s care about one thing. THE
KILLER. If it weren’t for me, you
would have no movie, no plot. No
fans. Are you saying they would
just as well watch you sit around
and drink tea? It would be
disastrous.
Britney slowly reaches out to a door, and pushes it open.

MAN (V.O)(FROM BRIT’S PHONE)

Don’t even try looking for me. You
never will find me.
BRITNEY
Well then you shouldn’t mind me
doing so.
MAN (V.O)(FROM BRIT’S PHONE)
Tell Alex to answer his phone. I
want to have a word with him.
BRITNEY
You know, you may think you are
being clever calling us all at once
but it is just confusing.

Britney turns to Alex, and motions him to answer his phone.

He hesitates, but finally does so.
ALEX
Hello...

MAN (V.O)(FROM ALEX’S PHONE)

Hello Alex! It’s such an honor
speaking to Alice Oates’ own flesh
and blood.
110.

ALEX
Fuck you!
MAN (V.O)(FROM ALEX’S PHONE)
Don’t worry Alex. I am not here to
ramble on about how your sister
murdered so many innocent people,
or how she betrayed your friends
and you own boyfriend. I am far too
original for that.

ALEX
(angry)
Then what the fuck do you want!?
MAN (V.O)(COMING FROM ALL PHONES)
Hello everyone. I am now speaking
to every one of you at once.
ALEX
What do you want?
Britney crosses the living room, and takes Robbie’s phone,
holding the receiver up to her other ear.
MAN (V.O)(COMING FROM ALL PHONES)
Yes Britney. I mean ALL phones. No
need to check.

BRITNEY
Leave us the fuck alone. Why are
you even attacking us? Why now?
MAN (V.O)
It’s fun.
Britney hands the phone to Robbie, who lifts the receiver to
his ear.
ROBBIE
Leave them alone. Just take me.
MAN (V.O)
Come on Robbie, that overused
statement usually is said by the
hero of the story. You however are
nothing but a supporting character.
ROBBIE
According to you.
111.

MAN (V.O)
(ignoring Robbie)
Luckily for you, you do have a
chance to try and save a friend’s
life.

ROBBIE
How do we do that?
MAN (V.O)
And you were supposed to be the
Randy 2.0? I’m disappointed in you
Robbie.
(pause)
The rules are the same as always. I
ask a question, horror trivia, you
get it wrong, you die. You get it
right, I let you go.
BRITNEY
That’s bullshit, Stu said-
MAN (V.O)
I am not Stu Macher. And if I were
you, I would be a little more
careful to me considering your life
is in my hands.
Britney stares up at a door that is shut tightly. She turns
to Robbie and Alex, staring down at them with wide asserting
eyes, before she finally sighs, and steps forward.
BRITNEY
So you explained the normal rules,
but you’re talking to three people,
there has got to be some sort of
twist.
MAN (V.O)
For once you are actually right
Britney. Yes, there is a twist. It
is a race for your lives, the first
person to answer a question is
safe. Think of it as a game show,
with horrible consequences for
losing.

Robbie’s expression hardens with anger, as he stands up, not

able to take any more of the killer’s monologue.
ROBBIE
That’s not fucking fair! Are you
saying only one of us can live?
112.

Alex continues to sit on the couch, watching the entire

scene nervously, clearly he is terrified.
MAN (V.O)
Life. ISN’T FAIR.

ROBBIE
Really? That is the best you’ve
got?
MAN (V.O)
You seem to be avoiding the fact
that you are under my control. I
could slit your throat in a matter
of seconds, and I am kind enough to
give you a chance. Give you hope.

BRITNEY
Just ask the fucking question.
Robbie turns to Alex. He looks like he could be sick. Robbie
rests his hand on his shoulder encouragingly.

MAN (V.O)
Who was the first to die in the
first Final Destination after
Flight 180 exploded?
Everyone looks at each other for a second.

BRITNEY ROBBIE
Tod. Tod.

ALEX
Tod.

MAN (V.O)
Very good. I’m impressed, you all
answered at the same time.

Britney places her finger on her lips, telling Alex and

Robbie to be quiet. She steps forward, and reaches out to
the door’s doorknob, wrapping her fingers around it.
BRITNEY
Where are you?

MAN (V.O)
Guess.
113.

BRITNEY
I don’t have the time.
Britney turns the knob, and SLAMS the door open. And stares
into the room. It is a bedroom. Her eyes widen, as she darts
her eyes left to right, trying to see around the walls.

When SUDDENLY, from out of nowhere, GHOSTFACE SWINGS, his

knife down toward her neck. She screams, and attempts to
dodge it, but it does her little good, because the knife
digs deeply into her shoulder.

She screams and falls to the floor, but doesn’t waste any
time. She instantly kicks the killer on the shins, and sends
him tumbling to the ground.
She pushes herself up, and begins to run, as Robbie and Alex
follow her.
They run across the living room, and start up the stairs,
but ghostface is close behind them.
Katy who is the farthest behind of the three, turns her
head, staring at ghostface. Holding her wound the best she
can to keep it from bleeding too much.
She turns back and hurries up the stairs.

INT. FLOOR 2: HALL

They hurry down the hall toward a door, but Britney is
bleeding badly. She suddenly slips on her own blood, and
nearly falls over, she doesn’t but before she can react,
ghostface PLUNGES the knife deep into the center of her
back.
Her eyes are filled with pain and horror, as he grabs her
hair, pulling her head backwards. She stares upward into the
cold, blank mask, when Ghostface STABS her in the center of
the neck.

Blood sprays out of her neck, onto both Robbie and Alex, as
they scream in horror. Ghostface lets go, and lets her fall
face forward to the floor, landing on her stomach, with her
head pointing forward, her bloodshot eyes, staring at Robbie
and Alex, as she dies.
Ghostface wipes the blood off his knife, and steps over her
body and begins toward them quickly.
114.

Robbie and Alex don’t react for a few seconds, but Alex
reaches out to Robbie’s arm and pulls him inside a bedroom,
just before Ghostface slashes his knife toward Robbie’s
heart.

INT. FLOOR 2: BEDROOM

They slam the door shut, and Ghostface INSTANTLY slams his
shoulder up against it, surprisingly cracking it down the
center.

Robbie hurries across the room, and throws open a bedside

drawer, and begins looking through it frantically, as Alex
holds the door shut with his back.
Robbie eventually takes out a pocket knife, and crosses the
room to the door, and reaches out to the doorknob.
ALEX
What the fuck are you doing!?
ROBBIE
I am not going to run from this
idiot.
Robbie turns the knob and slams open the door, only to see
an empty hallway. He steps out, holding the knife forward,
ready to strike if he has too.

ALEX
Is he there?
Robbie turns his head out of the doorway, staring down the
hall where Britney lies, in a thick puddle of blood.
Ghostface has slit a long and horrible cut from the bottom
right of her face, all the way across in a diagonal motion
to the top left.
Blood covers her face in an almost fake dreamlike way.
Robbie turns back into the room with a horrified expression.
Alex looks at him sadly.
ALEX
Is..is she dead?

ROBBIE
Yes..
ALEX
Oh God.
115.

Suddenly, both of their phones ring immediately. They look

down at them. The caller Id’s read: "UNKNOWN NAME, UNKNOWN
NUMBER"
Robbie turns off his phone.

ROBBIE
I am fucking done with humoring
him. Call the fucking police.
Alex answers and hangs up his phone, and dials 911.

It rings a few times before SUDDENLY--

--GHOSTFACE bursts out of the door across the hall, Alex
screams and backs away, but Robbie runs forward angrily
swinging the knife at ghostface.

But before he can, ghostface swings his knife toward Robbie,

and stabs him deeply in the arm. Robbie screams and falls to
the ground, dropping the knife.
Ghostface steps over Robbie and hurries toward Alex, who is
huddled in the corner of the room.
He screams and ducks, as Ghostface plunges the knife toward
his head. He screams and runs across the room, helping
Robbie up off of the floor, and pulls him into the hall,
slamming the door behind them.

INT. FLOOR 2: HALL

They run down the hall, as ghostface swings the door open,
and runs after them. Eventually they come to Britney’s body,
they try their best to ignore her, and hurry past her body,
but suddenly, Alex slips and falls on her blood, and
collapses to the floor, causing him to stare into her blank
deep eyes.

He screams, and pushes himself back up to his feet, and they

continue to run, hurrying down the steps.

INT. ALEX’S HOUSE: LIVING ROOM

They jump down the bottom four steps, and hurry across the
living room, and to the front door, they attempt to throw it
open, but it is locked.
They quickly unlock the door, and swing it open, and run
outside--
116.

EXT. ALEX’S HOUSE: AFTERNOON

--running directly into--

--DAVID ARNATZ. They both shriek in horror and back away.

DAVID
What’s wrong? I just got here, I- I
needed to talk to Alex.

ALEX
What the fuck are you doing here!?
DAVID
What do you mean I just told you.
(notices blood on Robbie and
Alex)
Oh my God... Is...is that blood?
David steps in for a closer look.

ALEX
Stay away from us, were calling the
police!
CUT TO:

EXT. ALEX’S HOUSE: STREET

Surrounding the front yard, are around 3 police cars. And
about 6 police officers, one slams David onto the car,
handcuffing his hands behind his back.

DAVID
What the hell are you doing? I
didn’t do anything wrong.

Dewey watches and sighs,

DEWEY
You were on the scene of a murder.
And you expect us to believe you
were just ’dropping by’.

DAVID
(pleasing)
My DNA didn’t match the DNA of the
mask. I am innocent. Tell them
Alex. TELL THEM. Alex tell them I’m
innocent.
The police officer pushes David into the back seat of the
police car, and slams it shut.
117.

DEWEY
Take him to the station. Don’t
answer any questions asked by the
reporter. If this falls through
again we don;t want have to deal
with the media.
OFFICER
Yes sir.
The officer climbs into the car, and drives away. Dewey
crosses the driveway, to an ambulance where Robbie’s wound
is being treated.
A doctor finishes wrapping a bandage around his arm, and
pulls his sleeve back down.

PARAMEDIC
That should do it, just take a few
days off to rest.
ROBBIE
Okay.

Dewey stops in front of them, and sighs.

ROBBIE
Please no more questions. I don’t
think I can handle another
interrogation. It is like we said.
Britney and I went there to find
Alex, and the killer called us. He
attacked us, and...killed Britney
upstairs. I found a knife in the
bedroom, and when we went back
outside, the killer attacked us
again.
(holds arm up)
He stabbed me, and we thought he
was chasing us, so we ran
downstairs, directly into David. I
don’t know what else to say.
DEWEY
(slightly uncomfortably)
It’s okay Robbie. I am not here to
ask you questions. I just wanted to
know how you to are doing.
ROBBIE
I guess I’m okay.
118.

ALEX
Same here.
DEWEY
Good. Do you have a ride home?

ROBBIE
Yeah. I called Kirby to come pick
us up.
DEWEY
Good. I’ll send someone to check up
on you guys soon.
ALEX
Okay.

A car comes to a stop in the driveway, and out of the car

step out Erin, Jason, and Kirby. They all look worried.
Kirby hurries across the street, and stops in front of the
ambulance.
KIRBY
Robbie! Are you okay?
ROBBIE
Yeah, I’m fine. Don’t worry.
KIRBY
And you Alex.
ALEX
Same.
KIRBY
Come on.
Alex and Robbie stand up, and nod at Dewey, thanking him,
and walk off with Erin, Jason, and Kirby.

INT. ERIN’S CAR: NIGHT

They drive quickly down the road. BETTER OFF DEAD: BY THE
SOUNDS, blasts loudly on the radio, as they quickly turn to
the right.

KIRBY
So it looks like David really is
guilty.
119.

ALEX
Not necessarily.

KIRBY
What are you talking about? You
were the one that had him arrested
for God’s sake.
ALEX
I was just in the moment. I
probably would have thought you
were a possible killer.
KIRBY
Still, him being there is pretty
strange, not to mention he was the
only one with a key to the video
store’s security cameras.
ERIN
Him and Robbie.

ROBBIE
Are you suggesting I am the killer?
ERIN
Maybe you ARE.
KIRBY
(shocked)
Erin, this is ROBBIE we are talking
about.

ERIN
Face it, all of us are suspects.
Even you Kirby. You could have hit
a peak with death, wanting to end
it all, by killing all of your
friends and then yourself.
JASON
Pretty Hard Erin.
ALEX
She has always been a bitch.
ERIN
And as I always say: "And proud of
it too."

ALEX
I don’t see why being a complete
asshole to everyone is something to
be proud of.
120.

ERIN
Cool down Alex. You are beginning
to sound like Jason.
Robbie watches in pure amazement. Alex leans forward, as if
he is about to say something. But Kirby beats him to it.
KIRBY
Can we just stop all of the
arguing. Erin DOES have a point you
know. We are all suspects, she is,
Jason is, Alex is, and I’m sorry to
say, Robbie as well. She isn’t
saying we necessarily are the
killers, all she is saying is that
there is no way of knowing, until
we know.

JASON
For all we know David could be this
generations Cotton Weary.
ROBBIE
Sentenced for a crime he didn’t
commit.
KIRBY
But there is no way of knowing
which 2.0 characters we are. Maybe
for once, the killer- or at least
one of the killers was actually
caught.
ERIN
Anyway, that is how I got an idea.
ROBBIE
What idea?
ERIN
We leave town. Right now.
ALEX
I highly doubt we are allowed to
leave town, considering we are all
suspects, as you JUST said.

KIRBY
Just let her talk.
ERIN
Thank you Kirby. Anyway, my
idea...’plan’ per say, is that we
(MORE)
121.

ERIN (cont’d)
leave town. Don’t tell anyone that
we leave, and see if the killer
follows us. If he does, we know it
is one of us.

ALEX
If it is one of us, then why would
we not stop killing to throw you
off track? Seems pretty stupid to
assume we would just continue
killing when you are TELLING us
your plan.
ERIN
And if people stop being killed and
attacked that is a problem?

ALEX
I guess not.
Erin turns the car into the driveway in front of Kirby’s
apartment, ans parks it.

BETTER OFF DEAD, cuts off here.

She turns around.
ERIN
Go in and grab your shit. Were
leaving in ten minutes.
Erin, Kirby, and Jason get out of the car, without any
further hesitation. Alex and Robbie look at each other in
pure amazement, and follow after them.

CUT TO:

INT. KIRBY’S APARTMENT: LIVING ROOM-NIGHT

Everyone rushes inside, it has started to snow lightly, Erin

and Jason hurrying into the bedroom, and Robbie and Alex
collapsing on the couch.
ALEX
I don’t really know why we are
expected to get our stuff here, we
only have like two or three things
here.
122.

ERIN
(hurrying out of bedroom, with
already packed suitcase)
That is why we are making a few
stops. First at you and Robbie’s
place, then mine, and then
Woodsboro University.
Robbie turns to Kirby.

ROBBIE
Why are we going there? I was glad
to graduate fast enough to be able
to stay away from that place.

KIRBY
We can’t leave without Sidney. She
is having a dress rehearsal
tonight, hopefully we can pick her
up and convince her to come with
us.

ROBBIE
Are you sure she will even want to
come?
ERIN
Of course she will. The police are
not doing shit to find the real
killer, they are wasting all of
their time on that idiot David that
they have basically stopped
looking.
ROBBIE
They wouldn’t stop looking. He
obviously couldn’t have killed that
reporter Pavarti, he was in the
interrogation room.
ERIN
Whatever. My point is, they are
wasting their time.

Suddenly the phone RINGS. Everyone turns to it. Alex turns

scared to Kirby.
KIRBY
I am sure everything is perfectly
fine.

Kirby crosses the room and answers the phone, snow is

visibly falling from the sky out the window behind her.
123.

MAN (V.O)
Hello Kirby.
KIRBY
(angry)
Killing Britney was a fucking
cowardly thing to do. She did
literally NOTHING to deserve to
die.
MAN (V.O)
Aw, do you seriously believe that?
She did one thing which warrants
death always. She was friends with
you.
KIRBY
Fuck you.
MAN (V.O)
Face it Kirby. Sidney being alive
caused so many deaths it is hard to
count-- and now that you are a
primary target, there are twice as
many victims. Honestly, maybe you
should just end it all right now
before it is too late. Sacrifice
your own life for others. That
would prove you are the true next
generation’s Sidney.
KIRBY
It isn’t my fault anyone is dead.
It is the fucking asshole
fuck-heads who KILLED them. Nobody
else is to blame.
MAN (V.O)
You can keep telling yourself that,
but the fact of the matter is. If
you were dead, the people that
killed people, would never had done
so in the first place.
KIRBY
Fuck off! LEAVE US ALONE.

MAN (V.O)
Do you honestly think leaving this
town will help you in the
slightest? Look in the room, who is
MISSING?
124.

Kirby resists at first but turns around. She sees Erin,

Robbie, and Alex all staring at her with scared expressions.
ERIN
Whats going on?

Kirby presses the phone up against her chest.

KIRBY
(whisper)
Where is Jason?

ERIN
(confused)
He is in the bedroom.
Kirby lifts the receiver to her ear.

MAN (V.O)
So... it appears someone is missing
from your sight. What on earth
could he be doing at a time like
this.

KIRBY
How did you know it was a he?
Suddenly, from outside of the bedroom, Jason steps. He
hurries across the room with a suitcase in his right hand,
and a backpack on his left shoulder.
JASON
Who’s calling?
ERIN
(scared)
It’s the killer.
JASON
Oh shit. Hang up on the fucker
Kirby.

KIRBY
Well you are wrong, he is right
here in sight now.

There is no reply for a few seconds. Kirby is visibly

worried for once that he won’t reply.
MAN (V.O)
I guess he isn’t me then.
125.

KIRBY
Fuck you. leave us alone.

MAN (V.O)
Those seem to be your favorite
words.
KIRBY
I am not doing this with you.
Goodbye.
Kirby hangs up angrily, clearly upset. And turns around to
everyone in the room, when suddenly the doorbell RINGS.
Everyone gasps and turns to the door. After a few seconds it
rings again. Kirby slowly walks toward it, stopping a few
feet from it.
KIRBY
Hello? Who’s there?

She reaches out and opens the door. Revealing--

--DAVID ARNATZ, standing in the doorway. Kirby backs away in
surprise, clearly unsure whether to trust him or not.
KIRBY
What are you doing here?
DAVID
I was just released from the
police. I knew they had nothing on
me.
KIRBY
But why are you here?
DAVID
No one trusts me anymore, not even
my fucking parent’s want me staying
in their house. I thought you would
understand.
Kirby sighs.

KIRBY
Come on in.
She steps aside and David steps inside. Far away in the
distance, a shadow appears to move, but no one notices.
Kirby closes the door.
David crosses the living room, and collapses onto the couch.
126.

DAVID
So what are you guys up to?
Everyone looks each other with an obvious "should we tell
him?" look. Somehow they all come to the conclusion against
it.

ERIN
We were just discussing the rules
of surviving a horror film...

DAVID
Well that’s simple. Don’t be blond
or have big tits. Having both is a
double whammy. So don’t worry Erin,
your chances aren’t as bad as some.

ERIN
(shocked)
Excuse me?
David looks like he has said nothing wrong.

ERIN (CONT.D)
Whatever... But truly, the only
rule is to watch your ass in the
final, because being likable isn’t
enough anymore, because you will
never be in another film anyway.

David shakes his head.

DAVID
I don’t know why this is happening
to me. It’s like someone set me up.

KIRBY
Well it is pretty suspicious,
especially considering someone
called just before you rung the
doorbell.
DAVID
(shocked)
What!? FUCK. I must have the worst
luck on the planet.

KIRBY
(sighing)
I think we should tell him.
127.

DAVID
Tell him what?
ERIN
Are you sure?

KIRBY
Yes, I’m sure... Were leaving town,
now.
DAVID
Wait? How can you do that with the
murders going on?
KIRBY
Were leaving the town. It isn’t
like we are leaving the country.

DAVID
Besides, I am sure that it wont do
you any good, chances are one of us
is the killer, right?....It isn’t
me, I swear.

Kirby and Jason look at each other, then back at David.

KIRBY
I’m not going to go into details,
but we are going, so you might as
well come as long as your here.
DAVID
I don’t think that is a good idea.
I’m basically under 24/7 watch by
the police. If I try to leave town
they will see it as running from a
crime.
ERIN
Well I guess that means you can’t
come with us, and you cant stay
here, so I suppose you will have to
go to a hotel.
Erin lifts him off the couch and starts to push him toward
the door. He turns around and smiles.

DAVID
You seem to be trying to get me out
of the room a little more then
normal. What is it?
128.

ERIN
It is just that you have to go.
DAVID
Are you sure it isn’t more? My
presence is too much for you?

ERIN
What do you mean?
DAVID
You are absolutely terrified your
love for me will shine through
yourself. But don’t be afraid, I
feel the same way.
Erin slaps David.

ERIN
Ew, gross. No fucking way.
DAVID
Your resistance just makes you seem
even more afraid of your true
feelings. Why don’t you just accept
and embrace them?
ERIN
(faking a smile)
I like your confidence, but the
answer is still no.
She turns him around, and pushes him toward the door.
ERIN (CONT.D)
(sarcastically)
Now go, stud.
David chuckles and exits through the front door.

DAVID
(shouting as he leaves)
Bye guys.
Everyone sighs when he leaves. Clearly the whole visit had
been intense, uncomfortable, and annoying all at the same
time.
ERIN
Well that was sufficiently awkward.
129.

KIRBY
Tell me about it.

EXT. APARTMENT: FRONT YARD-NIGHT

David smiles, he clearly is visibly happier now that he has

felt some acceptance, and care from them. He crosses in the
middle of the yard, whistling to himself, when suddenly his
cellphone rings.

He answers it quickly.
DAVID
Hello.
MAN (V.O)
Hello David.
DAVID
Who is this?
MAN (V.O)
I suppose according to the media, I
am you, and you are me.
DAVID
What the fuck. Your the KILLER?

MAN (V.O)
That I am. I don’t appreciate you
taking my limelight to be honest.
People aren’t scared of me anymore,
they are scared of you.

DAVID
No, people aren’t scared of you
because Stab X is currently in
production, and people have trouble
taking someone seriously when they
repeat themselves over and over
again. Take Saw for instance, Saw
1, and 2. Both relatively good
films, completely destroyed by the
endless sequels they produced.
(pause)
Sure, some of the sequels may be
decent but they definitely are the
reason the first two aren’t
recognized as good films anymore,
but shitty torture porn.
130.

MAN (V.O)
Wow you really are smart when it
comes to horror. You would make a
good Randy 2.0.
DAVID
Well thanks, but I would prefer to
be recognized as "David" because
that is, um... my name? And I don’t
want to live in the shadow of
Randy, or Robbie.
MAN (V.O)
So you don’t believe in 2.0
characters?

DAVID
Fuck no. I mean, it is sad that
just because Robbie is the horror
geek, and Kirby is the lead, and
Judy was a police officer, that
they are and were only recognized
as Randy 2.0, Sidney 2.0, and Dewey
2.0. It’s kind of tragic. They are
people with different
personalities.
(pause)
People expect Kirby to be a perfect
heroine, like Sidney is. And expect
Robbie to be the perfect horror
geek, that always knows the rules.
And Judy was supposed to be known
as the cop that saves the day and
never seems to be immortal.
MAN (V.O)
You talk a lot for someone that
didn’t even talk in the first
scream.
DAVID
So I assume you are a believer in
Randy, Robbie already has been
assigned that role by the general
public. So tell me, who am I?
A few long seconds pass as Robbie begins steps off onto the
Street.
DAVID (CONT.D)
Aren’t you going to answer?
A few more second pass, and just as he is crossing a large
bush--
131.

MAN (V.O)
COTTON....WEARY!!!

--THE GHOST, LEAPS out of the bush and stabs him in the
shoulder, he falls to the ground, as he bleeds.
DAVID
NO! PLEASE! WAIT! YOU CAN’T KILL
ME! THERE ARE RULES.

Ghostface tilts his head.

DAVID (CONT.D)
YOU SAID I WAS COTTON WEARY! HE
DIDN’T DIE TILL STAB 3!

Ghostface plunges the knife down toward David’s neck.

SMASH CUT TO:

INT. APARTMENT - LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

Everyone looks ready to go, Erin reaches out to the front
door and swings it open, and they all begin to empty out the
house.

KIRBY
Are you sure it is a good idea
putting her on the spot like this?
ERIN
Everything will be fine.

They step outside and close the door behind themselves.

EXT. APARTMENT: NIGHT

They cross the yard, and hurry into the driveway.

ERIN
This will be fun. Get our minds off
things.

ALEX
I’m sorry, but it is a little bit
hard to have any fun when Britney
was murdered a few HOURS ago.

ERIN
(sighing, obviously sincere)
I know, and It is really really
sad, I can barely think about it.
132.

ERIN (cont’d)
But that is the point, I don’t want
to. It is the only way I will get
out of this mess sane, okay?

ALEX
(sighing)
I guess...
They cross to the car quickly, and open the back door. It
swings open, and the car lights all turn on. Erin puts Kirby
and Jason’s bog into the trunk, and slams the door shut once
again.
They all enter the car, and drive away.
CUT TO:

INT. WOODSBORO UNIVERSITY: AUDITORIUM

There are two people on the large stage. It is soon obvious
they are preforming Romeo And Juliet. It is on the scene
where Juliet wakes up, to find Romeo has killed himself, and
then proceeds to kill herself as well.
Sidney sits in the audience as well as a few other students
watching, as Juliet drinks the poison Romeo holds in his
hand, and collapses to the ground, dead.

Everyone stands up and claps enthusiastically, As the

actress and actor stand up, and bow.
SIDNEY
Very good guys. Nearly perfect.
ACTRESS ACTOR
Thanks. Thank you.

Sidney turns around and smiles at the class.

SIDNEY
Well that’s it for tonight, you all
did amazingly.
Everyone thanks her, and begin to talk as they leave the
auditorium. Sidney sighs, and sits back down, staring up at
the stage for a few seconds, before standing up once again,
and exiting the auditorium herself.
133.

INT. WOODSBORO UNIVERSITY: HALL-NIGHT

Sidney hurries down the hall, bumping directly into--
--Dameon Jones! She backs away in surprise.

SIDNEY
(surprised)
Shit!
Dameon chuckles.

DAMEON
Wow, this is the second time you
have bumped into me in the same
hallway. Do you even pay attention
when walking?

Sidney, chuckles faintly, realizing it is a joke.

SIDNEY
Sorry, I am just in a hurry...what
are you doing here?...again.

DAMEON
I actually came here to see the
dress rehearsal, but I guess I came
to late.

SIDNEY
Oh, you should just come to the
actual performance. The dress
rehearsal isn’t as professional,
there are breaks in between every
scene. Not as good.

DAMEON
Oh, I couldn’t, I had a sudden call
from work back in LA. I need to
leave tomorrow morning. I decided
the last thing I wanted to do in
Woodsboro, was see the classic
"Romeo and Juliet" directed by the
wonderful Sidney Prescott.
(winking playfully)
You know, I have heard great things
about you.
SIDNEY
(blushing)
Well I’m sorry you missed it. Maybe
the next time you are in town.
134.

DAMEON
Maybe.
SIDNEY
Anyway, I really should get going--

DAMEON
(cutting her off)
I can walk you to your car if you
like. You know, with the murders
and all, it’s like straight out of
a horror movie.
Sidney tilts her head, smiling faintly, but the look in her
eyes is obviously recognizing this line. She smiles.
SIDNEY
Oh, I’m not leaving yet, I still
have a few papers to grade.
DAMEON
Drama professors have to grade
papers?
SIDNEY
Yep, unfortunately. Have a good
night.

She smiles, and starts to walk away. Dameon smiles, and

starts down the hall as well, toward the exit.
CUT TO:

INT. ERIN’S CAR: NIGHT

They drive down the street, past the large houses, some with
Christmas lights sparkling beautify in the darkness.
ERIN
Don’t they know that Christmas was
two weeks ago?
KIRBY
I guess it is just too much trouble
to put them all up and take them
all down after Christmas.
ERIN
Well they don’t have to take them
down, just don’t turn them on. Why
turn on the lights if Christmas is
over?
135.

JASON
They probably turned them on for
your birthday, and wanted to
celebrate to the full extent.
ERIN
(chuckling)
Fuck you...

They soon reach the Woodsboro University parking lot, as

students quickly exit the auditorium, laughing, and talking.
ERIN
Looks like we came here at the
perfect time. Her class seems to be
over.
JASON
How would you know it is her class?
ERIN
She teaches Drama right?
Considering it is a dress
rehearsal, I’m guessing it is her
class. I mean, what other class
would be this late?

JASON
You’re insane.
KIRBY
(sighing)
I guess so.
ERIN
Let’s park here.
Erin pulls the car into a parking spot near the field in
front of the school. Everyone steps out of the car.

EXT. WOODSBORO UNIVERSITY

They all slowly cross the grass, toward the fountain.
Clearly this is a very emotional moment for, Kirby, Robbie,
and Alex.
Eventually they come to the fountain, and that is where they
stop, staring down at it.

ROBBIE
I was here today... Britney was
here today. We sat, right fucking
here. And now.... she is gone.
136.

Alex wraps his hand around Robbie’s waist, and rests his
head against his shoulder, trying his very best to comfort
him.
ALEX
It’s okay, were all sad. But you
can’t let it get to you.
Erin sits down onto the fountain, and crosses her legs,
leaning onto them, staring forward. She looks as if she
could cry, but isn’t letting herself.

Kirby leans her head on Jason’s shoulder in a similar way as

Alex did with Robbie. She closes her eyes, and sighs.
KIRBY
Everything will be okay. We can get
through this.
ERIN
(muttered)
I’m glad to see you so confident.

Erin leans her forehead into the palm of her hands.

KIRBY
(turning to Erin)
What is that supposed to mean?

ERIN
Nothing, that came out wrong. I am
just glad you are confident things
will be okay, you seemed to have
your doubts.

KIRBY
(sighing)
Oh... Well, I guess it was bound to
happen, but now I think I will be
okay.

Jason smiles and kisses the top of her head.

KIRBY
(smile suddenly fading)
I still can’t believe she is
gone... It’s all my fault....
(shaking her head)
FUCK! No... it isn’t my fault, I
can’t keep thinking that.
She sits down on the fountain glumly.
137.

ERIN
Some birthday this has turned out
to be.
JASON
(trying to lighten up the
mood)
Well it isn’t that much worse then
your parties usually are.
Everyone turns at him, glaring. But Erin seems to be holding
back a smile slightly, but she doesn’t. Erin turns her head
around, caressing the back of her neck, underneath her hair.
ERIN
(sighing)
I guess we should go see if Sidney
is coming or not.
ROBBIE
I still don’t know if this is a
good idea.

KIRBY
It will be fine.
Erin’s eyes widen, and her jaw drops.
ERIN
(shocked)
What the fuck...
Everyone turns to her, wondering what she could be so
shocked about.

KIRBY
What is it?
ERIN
I...I think that’s Jill’s father.

KIRBY
(shocked)
What!?
ROBBIE
(shocked)
What!?
They turn their eyes in the direction of him. He is walking
quickly toward them.
138.

ERIN
Should we be worried?
KIRBY
I don’t know. I mean Sidney said
she bumped into him, and he hasn’t
done anything strange. Just act
normally.
Dameon hurries to the fountain, and stops, smiling faintly.

DAMEON
What are you guys doing here?
ERIN
We could ask you the same question.

DAMEON
I was just here to see the dress
rehearsal of Sidney’s new play.
Romeo and Juliet. I’m was too late
unfortunately.

Kirby hesitates to reply.

KIRBY
Oh, sorry about that.
Dameon doesn’t say anything, even though clearly he wants to
say something. He finally sighs, and hurries around the
fountain.
DAMEON
Can I sit down?

KIRBY
Sure, I guess so.
Dameon sits down, and turns to her, and Robbie, sighing.

DAMEON
(after long silence)
I am so, so, so sorry. For all that
has happened. I can’t help but feel
it is my fault.

Kirby sighs, and looks down at the ground for a good five
seconds, before looking back up at Dameon.
KIRBY
You can’t keep thinking that. It
isn’t your fault. It isn’t anyone’s
fault but the killer’s.
139.

Dameon sighs, and turns away, before turning back to her.

DAMEON
What was she like?... During the
killings?...if you don’t mind me
asking.
KIRBY
(sighing)
She was normal... completely
normal. I didn’t even see her bad
side, I didn’t see her as a killer
until it was all over. I woke up,
the next morning, and Dewey told me
that Jill was the killer, not
Trevor. And that Sidney and Robbie
were alive.
(chuckling faintly, clearly
remembering that day)
He told me how she attacked Sidney
in the hospital. He said he hadn’t
told her about me or Robbie, partly
because of some bullshit rule about
not being able to give information
to people outside family, and that
we were in such bad shape, he
didn’t want to get her hopes up.
DAMEON
She had everyone fooled...
KIRBY
Yes, she did.
(moving on)
He said that he was glad he didn’t
tell, because she probably would
have tried to kill me and Robbie as
well, and we probably wouldn’t have
made it.
(pause)
But it isn’t your fault Dameon.
When it comes down to it, Jill was
sick. The thing that is forgotten
in the Stab films, hell, most of
horror, is that, these killers, are
still human. They may be horrible,
terrifying killers. But they rarely
answer the "why". But Jill was
sick, who knows what was wrong. But
in real life, it isn’t as simple as
being ’evil’. There is always a
reason... Always the original
source. The cause of everything bad
that followed.
140.

Kirby sighs, and turns to Dameon, and smiles.

DAMEON
I’m glad we talked. This was just
what I needed. Thank you.

KIRBY
Your welcome.
Dameon stands up, and Kirby follows. Erin, Jason, Robbie,
and Alex watch, as Dameon and Kirby hug softly. Both
understanding each other completely.
Dameon smiles at everyone.
DAMEON
It was nice meeting you all.

He smiles once again, and walks away.

ERIN
Well that was interesting.

KIRBY
He just wants some sort of closure.
It’s understandable.
ERIN
(looking at watch)
Damn, we better hurry, were going
to miss Sidney.
Everyone stands up, and hurries toward the building.
CUT TO:

INT. WOODSBORO UNIVERSITY: HALL-NIGHT

Everyone enters quickly, their footsteps echoing through the
dimly lit halls.

JASON
No one seems to be here.
Jason hurries ahead, stepping into the middle of two
hallways each going in a different direction. He turns into
the right hallway, carefully looking down it.
JASON (CONT.D)
Which way do we go?
141.

KIRBY
I think it is to the right, but I
forget. I wasn’t taking drama
anyway, not to mention it has been
forever since I have been here.

Jason turns around, shrugging, when suddenly bursting out

from one of the classrooms, in a drastic unexpected manner--
--GHOSTFACE launches toward Jason, and stabs him three times
in the stomach, as Jason shrieks in pain. Jason falls to the
ground, blood pouring from his wounds.
Kirby shrieks, tears streaming from her eyes, as Alex, and
Erin grab her hand, and begin to pull her in the opposite
direction. Erin, Robbie, Alex, and Kirby hurry down the
hall, breathing deeply.

KIRBY
(crying, angry)
Why are we fucking running!? We
should kill that FUCKER, and this
shit will all be fucking OVER!

ERIN
(crying)
Calm down Kirby, we are going to
find Sidney.

They hurry down the hall.

INT. WOODSBORO UNIVERSITY: SIDNEY’S OFFICE-AFTERNOON

Sidney sits at her desk, grading papers, she obviously is
distracted, but she tries her absolute best to keep her
concentration.
Suddenly, the phone rings. She stares at it for a second,
before answering.

SIDNEY
Hello?
MAN (V.O)
Hello Sidney.

SIDNEY
(standing up)
What the FUCK do you want.
142.

MAN (V.O)
It’s not what I want. It’s what the
general audience wants. Closure. We
can’t just have the series end with
Stab 5, now can we? It isn’t a
clean cut. Stab 6. Now that is nice
and even.
SIDNEY
Fuck you.
MAN (V.O)
So, so vulgar. Like it will get you
anywhere.

Suddenly from the distance, music starts to play. Much like

the music in the final scene of Scream 2. Sidney’s eyes
widen.
MAN (V.O)
Oh, do you hear that? Sounds like
intermission is over. It’s time for
the FINAL ACT.
The line goes DEAD. Sidney stands up and runs out of the
room as fast as she can.

INT. WOODSBORO UNIVERSITY: HALL-NIGHT

Erin, Robbie, Kirby, and Alex hurry as fast as they can down
the hall, the music is clearly audible in the background.

ERIN
What the fuck is that?
Kirby stops in her tracks, and turns around to them with
tear filled eyes, and leans onto her knees, gasping for
breath.
ALEX
(terrified)
Let’s just get the FUCK out of
here.

ERIN
Be quiet Alex, being scared wont
get us anywhere.
ALEX
What the FUCK! JASON WAS JUST
STABBED TO DEATH. I WANT TO GET THE
FUCK OUT OF THIS FUCKING
UNIVERSITY.
143.

ERIN
Well if being a chicken ass is what
you want to do, then so be it.
ALEX
Fuck you! You fake BITCH.
Alex runs away, terrified.

ROBBIE
ALEX WAIT! Shit. I have to go with
him

Robbie hurries after him. Alex turns around, tears streaming

down his eyes, when suddenly coming running at TOP SPEED. Is
GHOSTFACE.
ROBBIE (CONT.D)
ALEX! WATCH OUT!

Alex turns around, and screams as Ghostface rams the knife

DEEP into his stomach, he cries and chokes up blood, falling
to his knees.
ROBBIE (CONT.D) KIRBY
ALEX! NOOO! NOOO!

ERIN
ALEX!

Robbie runs as fast as he can to Alex, and kneels down by

him, tears streaming down his eyes as he cries hysterically.
ROBBIE (CONT.D)
(hysterical cries)
FUCK! You can’t die, please don’t
die. Please, you are all I have,
please don’t do this. Don’t die.
ALEX
(choking)
I can’t....I...I love....you....
Robbie.
Robbie shrieks, tears streaming down his eyes, as he buries
his face into Alex’s chest.
ROBBIE (CONT.D)
No! NOOO!....
Ghostface wipes the blood from his knife, and raises it high
above his head.
144.

KIRBY
(shrieks)
ROBBIE WATCH OUT!
ERIN
ROBBIE!
Robbie turns his head up toward the knife, tears streaming
from his eyes, as Alex bleeds to death in his arms, unable
to speak. He cant bring himself to move, Instead, he cover’s
Alex’s body with his own, protecting him from further harm.

Ghostface rams the knife down toward Robbie, ramming it down

into Robbie’s upper shoulder. Robbie screams in pain, and
falls forward, face first in Alex’s blood, choking on it.
Ghostface rips the knife harshly out of his shoulder, and
kicks Robbie out of his way, causing him to lie on his back,
up against Alex’s legs.
Ghostface steps over their bodies, and hurries toward Kirby
and Erin, who are frozen with horror, and sadness.

Just in time they turn around, and hurry down the hall,
shrieking even louder then before.
Erin reaches into her pocket and takes out her cellphone.
She dials nine one one, and lifts the receiver to her ear.

ERIN
(panicked cries)
Please hurry! We are at Woodsboro
University, Building 3#, there is a
killer, he attacked three men,
please hurry, they could still be
alive.
OPERATOR
Please calm down. Someone is on
their way.
ERIN
How the fuck am I supposed to calm
down. THREE OF MY FUCKING FRIENDS
WERE JUST MURDERED. JUST HURRY.

She hangs up, and clinches the phone tightly in her hand.
145.

INT. WOODSBORO UNIVERSITY: AUDITORIUM

Sidney slowly steps into the room, the music filling her
ears. it is completely pitch black. Suddenly, a spotlight is
turned on, and shone brightly toward her.

She blocks the light with her hand, squinting from the
brightness.
SIDNEY
Hello?

MAN (V.O)
(on intercom)
Hello Sidney. It’s the big moment,
the moment everyone has been
waiting for. You just have to get
on stage.
The spotlight moves it’s focus onto the center of the stage.
She takes a deep breath and walks toward it bravely.

INT. WOODSBORO UNIVERSITY: HALL-NIGHT

Erin and Kirby hurry down the hall. They have reached the
hall where the entrance to the auditorium is. Kirby is
slightly ahead of Erin, and she hurries toward the doorways.

When suddenly, she bumps directly into--

--DAMEON JONES.
KIRBY
(hurrying to his arms)
Dameon! Please help us, the killer
is here! He is trying to kill us.
DAMEON
What? The killer is here?

ERIN
(crying)
He attacked Jason, Robbie and Alex!
Dameon pushes Kirby out of his arms, breathing nervously.

DAMEON
I thought about what you said...
KIRBY
What the fuck are you talking
about?
146.

Dameon’s innocent appearance suddenly turns into an

expression all to familiar. He smiles evilly, and reaches
behind his back, and pulls a gun out of his back pocket, and
points it directly toward Kirby’s head.

He points it directly toward Kirby’s forehead.

DAMEON
You think my Jill-Bear, was...sick?
ERIN
Oh shit! It’s YOU!?
KIRBY
(shocked)
What the FUCK!? I TRUSTED YOU!

DAMEON
I guess we know where my Jill got
it then, I always knew she was from
my side. She could never be like
that slut bag of a whore Kate
Roberts. The only difference
between Kate and Maureen, was Kate
wasn’t killed...Oh wait, I guess
that’s not true anymore.
KIRBY
You’re fucking insane.

Erin is frozen with fear as she watches.

DAMEON
Maybe I am. After all, I am sick
right? I need help? Fuck, that is
pathetic. Maybe it is just that
everyone else is too uptight, and
us killers, are what humans
NATURALLY are designed for.

ERIN
Your crazier then your daughter
was.
Dameon’s eyes dart to Erin, with a crazy sparkle, similar to
one Mrs. Loomis.

DAMEON
YOU! SHUT. THE. FUCK. UP.
Dameon points the gun toward Kirby’s neck.
147.

DAMEON (CONT.D)
Now. You are going to do as I say,
or I blow your fucking head off.
Understand?
Kirby doesn’t answer.
DAMEON (CONT.D)
GOOD.
(turning to Erin)
You too whore.

INT. WOODSBORO UNIVERSITY: AUDITORIUM

Kirby and Erin enter first, when they see Sidney, Kirby runs
toward to her--
KIRBY SIDNEY
SIDNEY! KIRBY!

--and Erin attempts to, but Dameon quickly grabs her arm,
and presses the gun up against her back. She yelps in pain,
as tears continue to stream down her eyes.
Sidney turns to Dameon, and her eyes widen.

SIDNEY
Dameon...
DAMEON
Oh come on Sidney, don’t tell me
you are surprised. I happen to
arrive in town the night of the
first murders, that is just as good
as a confirmation if you ask me.

SIDNEY
I see where Jill’s psychopathic
tendencies came from.
DAMEON
Shut the fuck up. It is MY TURN to
talk.
SIDNEY
What, are you going to state your
motive? Your reason for killing
innocent people. Tell me, what good
does killing innocent people. YOUNG
people, ending their lives before
they even began.
148.

DAMEON
And how many people have you
killed. HUH? Billy, Stu, Mrs.
Loomis, Mickey, Roman, Jill. You
are racking up quite a number.

SIDNEY
They tried to KILL me. Your
DAUGHTER was so fucking insane she
killed innocent people to get
fucking fame, and you are concerned
about ME killing in self defense?
That is fucking hilarious if you
ask me.
Dameon lifts the gun, pressing it up against Erin’s neck.

DAMEON
I wouldn’t fucking piss someone
with a gun off.
KIRBY
Please don’t hurt her, we are who
you want.
DAMEON
No, what I fucking want is you to
shut the fuck up. Understand?

There is a sudden crash from behind the stage. Dameon smiles

and tilts his head.
DAMEON (CONT.D)
Oh, do you hear that? Could it be
someone lurking in the darkness.
Could it be my partner? Who could
it be?
Erin’s eyes stare with horror, up to Kirby, and Sidney who
stand on stage. Suddenly, without warning, she RAMS her
elbow into his stomach, screaming angrily.
Dameon falls to his knees, choking, and shoots the gun
blindly, missing her by half an inch. She hurries toward the
doorway, and bumps directly into--

--JASON GRANTS.
Erin buries herself into his arms, crying loudly.
ERIN
Help us, please, Dameon. He is the
killer!
149.

JASON
(sarcastically)
Dameon? A killer? No way!
Erin backs away, her eyes widening, realizing exactly what
is going on.
Kirby backs away, near Sidney.
KIRBY
Jason!? No, please, no. NO! PLEASE
SAY YOU DIDN’T KILL THESE PEOPLE.
JASON
Sorry Kirby, but It was meant to
be. I mean what stupid fuck would
date you otherwise?

KIRBY
No...Oh god...
Jason pulls a knife out of his pocket, chewing on the tip,
much like Billy Loomis in Scream. He then unbuttons four of
his shirt buttons, his chest is covered with blood. He
suddenly pulls out a bag, that is dripping with blood-- or
now obviously fake blood.
JASON
(holding bag up)
This is what you call a blood pack.
It is commonly used in horror films
when they want the actor to appear
the bleed when stabbed.

He tosses it to the floor, and kicks it aside, causing a

trail of blood in the direction it slid.
JASON
You see Kirby, I never liked you. I
was asked by Dameon here, to get to
know you better, and you were such
a slut that you kissed me on the
third day we saw eachother.
KIRBY
(immensely hurt)
I trusted you... I thought you
loved me.
JASON
Did I not just say that I never did
love you? Or was I imagining that?
150.

KIRBY
Fuck you!

Jason crosses steps up on stage, as Erin is pulled into

Dameon’s arms once again, with the gun pointed toward her
head.
Jason smiles evilly, pointing the tip of his knife at Kirby.

JASON
I may never have loved you, but you
definitely intrigued me. You seem
so powerful on the outside, but in
reality, are so, fucking weak.

Tears stream down Kirby’s eyes, as he runs his fingers

through her hair, with the blade of the knife brushed up
against her throat.
KIRBY
So what is your motive?

JASON
A motive for me? Huh, I don’t think
I actually have one.
(turning to Dameon)
He sure may as hell have a motive,
but I don’t.
KIRBY
Then why are you doing this? WHY!?

JASON
For the fun of it, the thrill, the
chase. And fame.
KIRBY
Another fucking killer for FAME?

JASON
Yes, yes, yes Kirby. But I am much
different you see. I want the fame,
of being the person who killed, the
great...the powerful Kirby Reed.
(pointing knife at Sidney)
And the legendary Sidney Prescott.
Once and for all.
Jason turns to Kirby, his mouth curving into a sly smile.

JASON (CONT.D)
How about one last kiss before I
kill you?
151.

KIRBY
No fucking way.
JASON (CONT.D)
Well, that isn’t really up to you,
now is it?

Jason leans forward and kisses Kirby passionately on the

lips. Her eyes widen with anger, and she bites down hard on
his lower lip, until it bleeds.

He shrieks in pain and backs away angrily.

JASON (CONT.D)
You STUPID FUCKING BITCH. CUNT.
He hurries forward slashing the knife toward her throat. She
ducks in horror, and kicks him hard in the shin, causing him
to fall forward onto his face. She stands up and runs over
to Sidney. Dameon shoots toward her but misses, he shoots
again and misses as Sidney and Kirby jump down off of the
stage and duck under a few seats.

Dameon shoots at them again, missing once again. Erin takes

her chance, and elbows him hard in the stomach, this time
hitting him twice. She hurries away out of his grip and
starts once again toward the door
DAMEON
GET BACK HERE YOU STUPID BITCH.
He shoots blindly once again toward her, however, this time,
it hits Erin, in the lower left back. She gasps in pain, and
collapses to the ground, face first, as blood pours out of
her wound.

Kirby peers over the seats, and sees. She stands up and
SHRIEKS in horror.
KIRBY
ERIN! NOO!
Dameon points the gun toward Kirby. Jason slowly begins to
stand back up.
DAMEON
Stand up Sidney. If you don’t I’ll
shoot.
Sidney slowly stands up, holding her hands over Kirby
protectively.
152.

SIDNEY
Please. Just don’t hurt Kirby.
Please. I’m the one you want, I
killed JILL. I am the reason your
daughter is dead.

Dameon’s glare darkens, and his grip on the gun tightens.

DAMEON
(looking at gun dimly)
I will use this last bullet, to
shoot you in the heart like you did
to my daughter.
Sidney smiles, showing no fear. She seems to have a plan.
SIDNEY
Go ahead, shoot me. Shoot the
person that murdered your beloved
Jill. You angelic daughter.
DAMEON
SHUT THE FUCK UP.

SIDNEY
You know the worst thing about this
whole situation? You didn’t care
about your daughter until she was
DEAD. What kind of father does that
make you?
Dameon roars with anger, and pulls the trigger. The loud
BANG echoes throughout the auditorium. Sidney is shot in the
right side. She shrieks in pain and falls backwards to the
floor.

Kirby shrieks in sorrow, and kneels down by her side, as

Sidney stares upward at her, unable to speak.
KIRBY
Please! Sidney!
DAMEON
(happy)
Oh my God! I just killed Sidney
Prescott. THE SIDNEY PRESCOTT. THE
SURVIVOR. THE HEROINE.
Sidney coughs, and turns her head to Kirby.
SIDNEY
Kirby...Run.
153.

KIRBY
No I’m not leaving you.
SIDNEY
I will find a way out of this, just
please, save yourself.

KIRBY
No!
Jason jumps down off stage, and points the knife toward
Kirby.
JASON
Get the fuck up bitch.
Kirby cries as she stands slowly up, helplessly stuck within
Jason’s power. Jason reaches into his pocket and brings out
gun bullets, and tosses them to Dameon.
JASON (CONT.D)
Better restock, don’t want anyone
leaving, now.

Dameon reloads the gun, and points it toward Kirby, stepping

about a yard next to her.
Jason turns to Dameon.

JASON (CONT.D)
I think it is time.
Kirby watches Sidney on the ground, obviously hurting, but
not dead.

Jason grips the knife, ready to strike.

JASON (CONT.D)
Ready?
DAMEON
Yes. Go ahead. Stab me in the
heart!
Kirby turns around in horror, her eyes wide with shock.

KIRBY
(shocked)
What!?
JASON
Come on baby, you must be waiting
for an original ending right?
154.

JASON (cont’d)
Dameon has gotten his revenge, now
he is ready to go. It’s poetic when
you think about it.

Jason smiles, and plunges the knife into Dameon’s heart,

once, twice, three times. Blood pouring out of his wounds,
he collapses to the ground. DEAD.
Jason smiles and scratches his head with his knife, as he
reaches down to the gun, and picks it up.

Kirby makes her move, she kicks him as hard as she can in
the face and sends the knife flying to the floor.
She dives for it, reaching over to it, and grabbing it , she
turns around and slashes him across his chest.

He shrieks in pain, but continues to fight her for it. Kirby

kicks the gun out of his hands, which slides over to Sidney.
She moans in pain, but forces herself to sit up, and grab
for it. She does so successfully just as Jason grabs the
knife out of Kirby’s hands. He raises it high, and stabs her
in the shoulder, just as Sidney (who is now standing once
again) shoots at him. She misses by a quarter of an inch.
Jason turns around angrily to her.

JASON
I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD.
SIDNEY
You thought wrong asshole. Stand
up, and put your hands on your
head.
Jason drops the knife by Kirby’s side. She instantly grabs
it and crawls her way over to Sidney, and pushes herself to
her feet, behind Sidney, tears running down her cheeks.

JASON
You think you have fucking won?
SERIOUSLY?
SIDNEY
Admit it Jason. It is over. I could
shoot you, but I don’t think I
will. How’s that for an original
ending? A killer being sent to
prison for the rest of their lives.
155.

JASON
To bad that isn’t the original
ending I had in mind.
SIDNEY
And what original ending DID you
have in mind.
Kirby cries, behind Sidney.
KIRBY
Please leave us alone.
SIDNEY
What? Do you have a third partner?
Real fucking original, that
happened last time.

JASON
(smiling)
No, that isn’t the original ending.
SIDNEY
THEN WHAT THE FUCK IS? I AM LOSING
MY PATIENTS.
Kirby smiles, and STABS SIDNEY IN THE SHOULDER.
Sidney’s eyes widen, in pure shock, pain, and heartbreak.

She falls to her knees, as her eyes seem to fade.

Kirby chuckles and walks around Sidney, pointing the knife
toward her.

SIDNEY
(breathy, shocked, sad)
You!?.....Kirby!?...You are the
killer?

Kirby smiles brightly, pointing the knife toward Sidney, as

Jason crosses over to them, kissing her on the cheek. Kirby
giggles.
JASON
We prefer to be called "killers".

SIDNEY (CONT.D)
How could you!?....
Kirby smiles even brighter.
156.

KIRBY
It was easy. In fact almost too
easy. You would be surprised at how
easy it is to become a murder when
you are conceived as a victim, a
heroine, by the entire public. When
Erin came up with the idea to leave
town, it was like tonight’s plan
was handed right to me.
SIDNEY
(barely able to speak)
But why?...why would you do this?
Kirby’s smile fades, and it becomes much more serious then
before.

KIRBY
(completely serious, and
sternly)
You know exactly why....this life.
The fame, everyone dancing around
your feelings like you will shatter
if they say the wrong thing.
(pause)
How about, having EIGHT, FUCKING,
PEOPLE, be dead because of you?
Well you must understand that, you
have many more people dead because
of you.
SIDNEY
No I don’t. It is the killer’s
fault.

KIRBY
Okay Sidney, you go ahead and tell
yourself that. Tell yourself that
if you were DEAD, that Jill still
would have been so FUCKING jealous
of your fame, that she would kill,
innocent people. That Alice,
Amanda, would want to kill you and
me for fucking fame we supposedly
stole from. EVERY SINGLE DEATH IN
THIS MASSACRE IS YOUR. FUCKING.
FAULT. SIXTY FUCKING PEOPLE. ARE
DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU.
SIDNEY
(heartbroken shrieks)
IT ISN’T MY FUCKING FAULT. IT IS
THE FUCKING KILLER’S FAULT. THERE
(MORE)
157.

SIDNEY (cont’d)
IS NO ONE ELSE TO BLAME. YOU SHOULD
KNOW THAT BY NOW.
Sidney kicks Kirby in the shin, knocking her over to the
floor.

KIRBY
Get her Jason!
Jason crosses to Sidney, and picks up the gun she has
dropped, pointing it directly toward her head.

JASON
Don’t move a fucking inch or I will
shoot you right now.
SIDNEY
SO who are you going to blame? I
doubt it is realistic that Dameon
killed all of these people by
himself.
JASON
Oh, thanks for reminding us. This
is the great surprise.
Jason hops back up on stage, and hurries behind the
curtains.

JASON (CONT.D)
(much like Stu in Scream)
I’ll be right back.
After a few seconds--

--DAVID ARNATZ, topples out from behind the curtains, Jason

steps out, kicking him over. He is tied by the hands and
feet, and tape covers his mouth.
KIRBY
Look familiar to you? Our perfect
little Cotton 2.0. Just as guilty
looking, and just as annoying.
SIDNEY
How are you going to explain the
tape residue on his mouth, hands
and legs, huh?
158.

KIRBY
It’s simple. I was going to kill
Dewey, originally, but then I
thought. Who is the one person that
will trust me more blindly then any
other? Dewey.
SIDNEY
You didn’t answer the question, or
do you even have an answer?

KIRBY
Of course I have an answer. It is
simple. David did exactly what
Charlie did. Fakes being tied up,
and turned out to be the killer.
Story works like a charm.

Sidney turns her expression to David, who watches her in

pure horror.
KIRBY (CONT.D)
You see, the entire world already
see’s him as the killer. The gross,
sick pervert that kills girls to
get off. That’s how they see him,
and when he is pinned as the
killer, they will KNOW, he is, and
there is no changing that, anyone
denying it will be attacked.
JASON
It is easy.

Sidney turns her expression to Kirby.

SIDNEY
What will you do? You know
forensics is much better and
detecting things then you would
think. They will know that you
kill me, and Jason.
KIRBY
I’m not that stupid, you really
think we did this without proper
planning? I’m not going to kill you
Sidney. But Jason? He will.
Jason tosses the gun to Kirby, who catches it easily, stands
up and tosses the knife over to Jason. He catches it, and
wipes the knife completely clean.
159.

KIRBY (CONT.D)
And this knight in shining armor is
willing to be the third killer,
killing me for the thrill of it. It
is a really emotional moment for me
as a character, I feel like I cant
trust anyone, and after losing you.
I have no one.

SIDNEY
Your fucking insane.
KIRBY
Well, shh, don’t spoil it. I hate
when people spoil the endings of
movies, it makes the whole movie
experience less fun.
(turning to Jason)
It’s time Jason. That bitch Erin
called the fucking cops, they could
be here any fucking minute.

JASON
Okay babe.
Jason looks down at David, who stares back in horror,
completely helpless, unable to scream.

JASON (CONT.D)
You sick fuck. How could you kill
all of these people?

Jason plunges the knife down into David’s shoulder, the

center of his arm, and his chest, as David squirms on the
floor, at the third stab, David stops moving.
Jason holds the knife by his side, blood dripping from the
blade. Kirby smiles, and turns to Sidney.

KIRBY
Looks like it is your turn.
Sidney stares at her, with hurt eyes, she has cried all the
tears she possibly can. Almost as if she has given up, when
suddenly, her expression changes.
SIDNEY
No... IT is YOUR TURN.
Sidney punches Kirby before she can react. Kirby shrieks,
and falls to the ground, dropping the gun. Sidney reaches
out to it, and grabs it into her hands.
She points it toward Jason, ready to shoot.
160.

SIDNEY
FREEZE OR I’LL FUCKING SHOOT.
KIRBY
(pausing)
Go ahead.

Jason turns to her, and steps forward, as if to attack her.

She pulls the trigger, shooting him directly in the heart
two times. He drops the knife, and falls to the ground,
dead.

Kirby turns to her, her eyes filling with rage.

KIRBY (V.O)
YOU FUCKING BITCH!

Kirby knees Sidney in the gut, knocking her aside, and

stands up hurrying to the stage. But Sidney tackles her to
the floor before she can reach the knife.
Kirby pulls Sidney’s hair back, and digs her fist into her
gunshot wound. Sidney yelps a weak and horrible scream, and
falls down, but keeps fight, punching Kirby in the face.
Kirby kicks Sidney hard in the stomach once again, and turns
over trying to reach the stage. Sidney grabs her by the leg,
but Kirby kicks her off, and crawls forward.

Sidney shoots at her, hitting her in the left leg.

KIRBY
FUCK!
Kirby Kicks Sidney in the face, and forces herself to her
feet, and hurries to the stage grabbing the knife, and
turning back to Sidney.
Sidney shoots at her twice but misses, shooting the stage by
accident.

Kirby plunges the knife toward her heart angrily.

KIRBY (CONT.D)
DIE YOU STUPID BITCH.

Kirby misses stabbing the wooden floor instead. She

headbutts Sidney, causing her to drop the gun. Kirby grabs
for it, but Sidney kicks it away, causing it to slide across
the room.
161.

Kirby plunges the knife into Sidney’s shoulder. Sidney cries

out in pain, and punches Kirby in her face. Kirby drops the
knife onto the floor a foot away, Sidney reaches out and
grabs it, slashing Kirby across her hands.
Kirby shrieks in pain, and presses her hands down hard
against Sidney’s face, Sidney screams. Kirby Pulls Sidney’s
head forward and slams it down against the ground.

She grabs the knife from Sidney’s hand, and raises the knife
high above her head.
SIDNEY
(painful whisper)
So this is it. Both of our lives
ending.
KIRBY
How is both of our lives ending?
SIDNEY
You will never get away with this.
There are security camera’s all
over this school.
KIRBY
You are fucking lying. Why would
you just say that now?
SIDNEY
You don’t have to do this. Turn
yourself in, you can get help.

KIRBY
I don’t need help. I NEED you dead.
SIDNEY
Kirby...please.

Kirby ignores her and plunges the knife down at Sidney’s

heart--
--A LOUD BANG IS HEARD FROM THE DISTANCE.
SIDNEY’S LAMENT: BY MARCO BELTRAMI, plays at full volume,
while all other sounds fade out to a mute.
Kirby is hit in the heart. She drops the knife to the floor,
and collapses, next to Sidney. Staring directly into her
eyes, as she dies.

Tears stream down Sidney’s cheeks as she watches Kirby,

someone who was once like a daughter to her, who had just
tried to kill her. Dies.
162.

Erin stands weakly, holding her wound, as she

watches. Sidney reaches out and grabs Kirby’s hand. She can
see the color in Kirby’s face return, the Kirby she once
new, The Kirby she remembered. Kirby squeezes her hand
tightly.

Sidney closes her eyes, clearly heartbroken at what she must

do.
She reaches out to the knife, and pulls it out of Kirby’s
heart. And plunges into her heart once more. Blood continues
to pour out, forming a pool surrounding Kirby, and Sidney.
KIRBY
(whisper)
Sidney...

Kirby takes one last breath before she doesn’t breath any
longer. She is Dead.
A few long seconds pass, Sidney continues to stare into
Kirby’s eyes in a very similar way as she did with Jill in
Scream 4. Before finally she pushes herself up off of the
ground.
SIDNEY’S LAMENT, fades out.
FIRST COOL HIVE: BY MOBY, begins to play.

Sidney walks over to Erin, wrapping her arm around her, when
suddenly there is a scream from behind them--
-- It’s David. He has somehow managed to break out from the
tape.

ERIN
David!
Erin runs across the room, and wraps her arms around him
happily.

ERIN (CONT.D)
Your alive too!
David smiles.
DAVID
Woah, I usually wait till the third
date before this kind of
intercourse.
Erin smiles and rolls her eyes, but leans forward and kisses
him on the cheek.

The two hurry over to Sidney, and the three walk out of the
auditorium, as the police hurry inside.
CUT TO:

EXT. WOODSBORO UNIVERSITY: SUNRISE

Police and reporters crowd the scene. All giving the news of
the events.

Sidney is seen on a stretcher as she is put into an

ambulance.
DEWEY
I’m going with her.

Sidney turns to Dewey.

SIDNEY
No. I’ll be okay, Stay with Erin
and David. They need you more then
I do.

Dewey nods his head, and backs away, as the paramedics slam
the ambulance doors, and drive away.
Erin who is sitting in the ambulance.

GALE
Are you going to be okay?
ERIN
I’ll be okay. For once the fan
favorite LIVES. I get to live
another day.
Erin smiles. Gale turns to Dewey, and chuckles.
GALE
I like her.

Suddenly, there is a call from paramedics.

PARAMEDICS
We’ve got two live ones.

They roll Robbie, and Alex across the grassy area, quickly,
and off onto the parking lot.
Erin smiles happily and stands up.

PARAMEDIC 2#
Wait! Miss, you can’t go!
Erin ignores him, and runs to Robbie and Alex. Following the
paramedics as they role them toward a pair of ambulances.

ERIN
I knew you two would live! I just
knew it!
They both merely smile faintly, as they are put into the
ambulances.
ERIN (CONT.D)
I will meet you there, I promise.
The paramedic reaches out to her and pulls her back into her
ambulance, and continues to work on her.
PARAMEDIC 2#
You need to stay still.
ERIN
Fuck you, if your friends you
thought were murdered turned out to
be alive you would run and see them
as well.
GALE
Okay, I definitely like her.
Gale leans her head on Dewey’s shoulder, as the camera zooms
out in a crane shot, above Woodsboro University.
FADE TO BLACK.

FIRST COOL HIVE, fades out.
