SIR/MADAM:

At the outset, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude for accommodating our
Teaching Internship students.

They are required to complete fourteen (14) weeks Teaching Internship as a final
requirement of the Teacher Education program from February 27,2023 to June 2, 2023.

A training plan is herein attached as your reference on the activities or competencies for the
entire duration of student teaching. A weekly rubric shall be used by the Cooperating to
assess the performance of the Practice Teacher on the competencies stipulated in the
Training Plan. It shall be accomplished seven (7) days after each week training period. The
accomplished rubric shall be retrieved by the respective Practice Teacher to be submitted to
the Teaching Internship Faculty. Worksheets are also provided each week which can be used
as basis in accomplishing the weekly rubric.

The graded demo-teaching activities are Demo-Teachings 1 to 8 using PLM Class Observation
Tool (COT). However, the Practice Teachers may still be assigned by the CT to handle and
teach classes from Week 1 to 14 but they will be credited under the item “Other tasks
required by the CT” in the Weekly Rubric.

Schedules of on-the-spot observations, final demo-teaching and oral defense of Action

Research are specified in the Training Plan. You may also ask for a copy of the Teaching
Internship Manual to the Practice Teacher.
