How to travel Solo Successfully

Introduction: Freya Stark once said, “To awaken quite alone in a strange town is one
of the most pleasant sensations in the world.” As solo travel can be the ultimate in self-
indulgence, learning how to do it is each one’s innate ability and something that can be
learned today.

Body: Evidence/ Pros

The first way to travel solo successfully is to arrive well-informed on the area. In terms
of fun, pack for your lack of companionship. Bring a blank journal to record your
adventures. Pack a paperback to enjoy while you wait out a rainstorm in a coffee shop.
You will be surprised that you absorb new surroundings, make new acquaintances, and
encounter self-discovery.

Body: Counterargument/Cons
Use a money belt as a purse, not for storage. Keep your passport, extra stores of
money, and other documents in a theft-resistant bag. Also, in line with safety, you must
have to carry good identification in more than one place.

Body: Rebuttal/ Refutation

Your security is at risk when you are trapped in a busy street scanning frequently
the GPS on your phone while looking for a place to eat or stay. It also matters
if you booked your accommodation in advance and are in the know of
the public transport system.

Conclusion:
Traveling alone is an achievable feat. It may pose perils here and there but a little
preparation and common sense can get you through the rough spots.

Philippines approved limited face-to-face classes

Introduction:
Limited face-to-face classes of 2 months dry run in the Philippines have
been approved by President Rodrigo Duterte. It is only for 100-200 Schools
that have low COVID-19 cases. As for me, I will admit that Face to face
classes is truly better than online classes.

Body Paragraph: Evidence/ Pros

I believe that Face to Face learning is better than online learning because
students have easy access to the lesson, and can easily communicate with
their classmates and teachers. Face to face allows students to have instant
answers and help from the teachers. Students also build socialization with
this kind of learning. On the other hand, face-to-face classes bring
memories and experiences with the people around you, It can be teachers,
school staff, and your fellow students or your friends. This mode of learning
is experiential and can truly have an impact on your life. Because you could
have an active social life, you can communicate face to face with the
people around you. According to some of the parents that have been
interviewed by GMA they are in favor of launching and implementing face-
to-face classes here in the Philippines because some students suffered,
get bored in their houses, lack money to buy a load, and many more.

Body Paragraph: Counterarguments/ Cons

As I have realized Face to face classes in this time of the pandemic also
have a downside or disadvantage, and it is that it can put risk on the lives
of many people because of the virus.
Face-to-face classes can be truly risky for everyone that is why some of the
parents that have been interviewed, disagreed with the implementation of
face-to-face classes because they do not want to risks their children getting
sick with COVID-19 and some said it will worsen the situation.
Body Paragraph: Rebuttal/Refutation
Yes, it is dangerous, but must we wait for the time till students become
used to distance learning, that we can not assure if they learned and
absorb their lesson? This Pandemic, most of the students, teachers, and
school staff in the Philippines are facing challenges. Most of us students
insist that Face to face classes is better than Online Classes. I must admit
online classes have somehow drained me and my mental health and I do
believe that it is not only me who experienced this thing. Being in this kind
of season wherein new things must be accepted and adapted easily is a
challenging task to do, as some may have said, it is tiring.

Conclusion:
Face-to-face classes in this time of pandemic is a big issue for all Filipinos
as well as the whole world. This is the mode of learning that all students,
teachers, and school staff have been used to. Furthermore, our country has
improved, our COVID-19 Cases continue to decrease and many Filipinos
comply and get their COVID Vaccines which I think does have a big help in
having a big difference in this pandemic. Many students and teachers
already got their vaccines and others must comply too, and
that’s a fact why the government implemented and approved a face-to-face
dry run in the Philippines. Some low-risk places here in the Philippines
started Face to face classes and, in my research, there are no reported
COVID-19 cases so far in pilot face-to-face classes. When Full face-to-face
classes in the country will be implemented, students and teachers must be
ready. It will be mixed of opinions and emotions for the people. That is why
I think that before they decide about this, they must also consider how the
students and parents will accept this kind of situation. They must analyze
and observe everything well before implementing it.
