Protesting jeepney drivers and operators challenged Vice
President Sara Duterte to “broaden her mind” about their
grievances, calling her red-tagging a diversion from
government lapses. 
Duterte earlier released a statement calling the nationwide
transportation strike “communist-inspired” and transport
workers “poisoned” by the ideologies of the communist
movement in the Philippines.
‘EDI WOW’ This was how PISTON reacted to Vice
President Sara Duterte’s statement on Monday calling the
transport group an organization "with leaders and some
members poisoned" by the CPP-NPA-NDF's ideologies.
Duterte on Sunday called the transport strike “a painful
interference" in addressing learning gaps, despite the
communicated agenda of jeepney operators and drivers to
convince the LTFRB to suspend the phaseout of their
vehicles. At least 100,000 jeepney drivers and operators
across the country began their strike yesterday prompting
local governments to offer free rides to commuters and
some schools to shift to online classes as some transport
groups demand President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to stop the
planned phaseout of traditional jeepneys.

Piston is an organization with

leaders and some members
poisoned by the ideologies of the
bankrupt Communist Party of the
Philippines, the National Democratic
Front of the Philippines, and the New
People's Army. And happily cavorting
with Piston and other militant
organizations is ACT, a group that is
diametrically nowhere near in the
service of the interest of the learners
and the education sector. This is not
red-tagging. This is a statement of
fact. Meanwhile, the progress and
future of our learners cannot be left to
the whims of organizations acting on
bare selfish motives. Magkaroon man

aaral ang mga kabataan.
