The document describes two experiments conducted by visitors for a science class on the phases of matter. In the first experiment, baking soda is mixed with vinegar inside a balloon, causing it to inflate as gas is produced. The second experiment involves placing raisins in water and soda water, where the raisins sink in water but dance or float in the soda water. The experiments aim to demonstrate the particle nature and behavior of solids, liquids, and gases. Students correctly answer questions about and observe the results of the experiments.

ARHIANA: Okay you may now take your seat. ARHIANA: So yesterday, we talked about the particle nature of matter. This topic consists explanations about matter and its states, namely solid, liquid, and gas. This topic also includes the history of atoms. ARHIANA: Much further than that. As I have mentioned yesterday we are going to have a visitor from a prominent school. This following visitor are STE student and they are one of the top students in their class. Let us welcome mister jaca and miss porbus JEAN: Good day my fellow student. Before we begin, we would like to express our gratitude thanks for having us CRISTEL: we know that you all have an idea about the three phases of matter Today we will conduct an experiment which is related to the phases of matter. ARHIANA: Lets have a quick recap miss penaranda can you tell me what are the phases of matter? HANNAH: the three phases of matter are solid liquid and gas. ARHIANA: now miss costelo can you define the phases of matter in your own words. EUNICE: solids particles are packed closely together, liquids particles does have definite shape because it takes the shape of its container, while the gas particles doesn’t have definite shape and volume. JEAN: Since we can see that you all have an idea about the phases of matter, now let us move on to our experimentation. CRISTEL: the materials that we are going to use are the following. Two water bottles vinegar measuring spoon Baking soda balloons JEAN: To ensure our safety it is essential to put on our goggles and lab coat. NOW LET US BEGGIN! EXPERIMENT NO.1: BALLOON MAGIC CRISTEL: We are going to start this by putting the funnel into the balloon. Then we are going to put 6 teaspoons of baking soda inside the balloon. Next step is to pour some vinegar into the water bottles, next is to place the opening of the balloon around the water bottle. Now the question is what do you think that might happen when we mix the baking soda into the vinegar. now let us find out what will be the comeout. JEAN: The experiment shows that when we mixed the baking soda together with the vinegar you can see that a bubble is forming inside the water bottle and then the gas locked up inside the balloon. JEAN: In this next experiment I need two volunteers. Miss costelo and penaranda join us here please. CRISTEL: In the second experiment we are going to do an experiment called the dancing raisins. CRISTEL: EXPERIMENT NO.2 DANCING RAISINS JEAN: Now we are going to do an experiment called the dancing raisins. ARHIANA: What are the materials that we might need miss porbus? CRISTEL: The materials that we are going to use are the following Two beakers A box of raisins Water a bottle of sprite ARHIANA: Mister jaca and miss porbus will be the one to give instructions while miss costelo and miss penaranda will do the procedures. Are you ready? HANNAH: Yes ma’am we are now ready! JEAN: Step no.1 pour water in the beaker and sprite in the other. CRISTEL: Pour 2 teaspoon of raisins inside of the two beakers. Now miss penaranda observe and tell me what happened when we pour the raisins into the beaker. HANNAH:As I have observed when we o-pour the raisins and it produce bubles after a few seconds the raisins sinks into the beaker. JEAN: how about we put some raisins into the other beaker. What have you observed miss costelo. Can you see any differences? Eunice: Yes sir I have noticed that the raisinse sinked but it rises again like dancing. ARHIANA: Yes your answers are both correct the raisins were dancing that is why it is called the dancing raisins. So I guess that’s all for today. JEAN: That’s it our experimentation for today. CRISTEL:We do hope that you learn nor discover anything here in our experimentations , just continue to practice your knowledge remember that learning is never boring. JEAN: AGAIN THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HAVING US. CRISTEL: THAT IS THE END OF OUR PRESENTATION OUR ROLEPLAY AIMS TO SHOW SOME EXPERIMENT REGARDING THE PHASES OR STATES OF MATTER. I AM CLARICE CRISTEL JOY D. PORBUS I AM JEAN SACHIN TARCE JACA I AM HANNAH GRACE PENARANDA I AM ARHIANA FELOMINA B. CONCHAS I AM EUNICE COSTELO ALL: AND WE ARE THE GROUP OF YOUNG BRILLANT RESILIENT RESEARHERS.
