1.) We all know that teachers carry out a number of interrelated tasks about
curriculum, instruction, assessment, evaluation, teaching and learning inside the
classroom. But some may not aware that the teacher’s profession were more than
that. Because a teacher’s role now is a broader and inclusive of other functions.

interrelated actions about curriculum, instruction, assessment, evaluation, teaching

and learning. A
classroom teacher is involved with curriculum continuously all day.
teacher's role in school is very complex? Teachers do a series of
interrelated actions about curriculum, instruction, assessment, evaluation, teaching
and learning. A
classroom teacher is involved with curriculum continuously all day.
That’s why, for me the word broadening from the box is the one who can describe
the teacher as curricularist because when we say broadening, they were broadened
to encompass all kinds of work or occupations. So, teachers now are playing a
different roles in the classroom and those are; knower, writer, planer, initiator,
innovator, implementer, and evaluator.
When we say knower, as teacher has to master what are included in the curriculum.
Writer, teacher should takes record of knowledge, concept, subject matter or
content. Planners, teacher has to make a yearly, monthly or daily plan of the
curriculum. Initiator, teacher’s obliged to be open-minded so, the curriculum will
enhance learning. Innovator, teacher need to be creative and excellent on creating
strategies in teaching. Implementor, teacher should give life to the curriculum plan
which, they need to engage with the learner. And the last one is evaluator, teacher
should evaluate the performance of the learners, from time to time.
So, those are the teacher’s roles in the classroom. It is very complex and broad.
Therefore, a teachers is curricularist.

2.) Yes, it is very important for the teachers to learn about school curriculum so
that the teacher will be able to construct assessments that are in line with their
learners, to examine the overall picture of student learning, and teachers can
develop a progression of learning that relate to one another. Through that quality
education will be met.
