Directions: Analyze the following research abstract and cite its implications on teaching and learning.

REFLECTIVE ANALYSIS
“With active learning in mind, new literacies are always bound to be integrated.”

After reading the context, I have understood that there must exist the interconnectivity between the
Student Teacher and the Cooperating Teacher to create a bond come up with better results throughout the
learning process. For that to work, they both shared flexibility and attentiveness to the new literacies that must
be integrated inside the class. Thus, they started it by enacting professional development in the classroom where
they and the teacher which helped the modification of used methods by analyzing its advantages and
disadvantages. In connections to that, they also come up with plans and ideas focusing on how to do integrate
the new literacies toward the student. It includes activities and class discussions necessary to the delivery of the
newest trend concerning quality education. Lastly, they come up with contrasting and comparing the
collaboration between student Teacher and Cooperating Teacher to find some ideas by means of individuality
which will contribute to their planning to achieve expected outcome by using well-organized method to
integrate the new literacies in education.

Overall, the results of the study on new literacies in a Midwestern Public University helped improve the
whole idea of student teaching design. Which include the innovation to the given design for better preparations
of aspiring teachers for their engagements on the 21st Century Classrooms.
