“My insight on Expanded Face-to-Face Class Implementation.”

The Department of Education (DepEd) recently welcomed the participating learners, teachers, and personnel in
public schools for the start of the pilot implementation of limited face-to-face classes. The Department of
Health (DOH), the IATF, child health experts, local government units, international and local partners, school
personnel, parents, and other stakeholders reinforced shared responsibility framework in the critical
undertaking.

On the implementation of limited face-to-face classes can be both beneficial and risky for the students who
would want to pilot the implementation. There could be a lot of uncertainties whether the students will follow or
observe the proper health protocol to avoid contracting any kind of diseases of the deadly virus that we are still
currently facing.

With the number of cases in the locality, whether high or low, the risk is still everywhere. It is very early to say
that the implementation is highly successful as the implementation is still currently undergoing. If the healthy
measures and protocols will be strictly followed, there is a high level of confidence to expand and continue
limited face-to-face classes.
