What Did I learn?

I have learned this lesson that literacy plays an important role in the lives of every individual for they are given
sets of opportunities basing on how they value their learning from various types of literacies present on their
respective aspect of life.

I have also learned that there are 7 types of literacies which are Multicultural Literacy that focuses on the
understanding the ethnic groups; Social Literacy that focuses on development of social skills; Media Literacy
which focuses on creating a media; Financial Literacy which focuses on the management and proper use of
money; Digital Literacy which is focused on effective use of the media; Ecological Literacy which focuses on
the understanding on the ecosystems toward sustainability; and last but not the least, the Creative Literacy that
focuses on the ability of making original ideas that shows new perspectives of the world.

All in all, I have learned that Multi-literacies works and functions side by side to create a complex whole that is
essential in equipping both the student and the learners for their engagements inside and outside the school.

RELFECTION

During my engagement to the topic, I have realized that there is no use on sticking to the traditional perspective
of either education and life. Hence, everyone must accept and adapt the given changes that are present in our
today’s era. Which challenged me to fully commit my self on enhancing and developing my literacy skills. With
this in mind, I can be able to picture my future having the necessary skills to pursue my career. That is why, I
will no longer see my lacking and incapability to perform tasks but instead will be glad to commit mistakes and
undergo times to practice and memorize the use of nowadays technology.
